My experince has been generally very good. My mental and physical health has improved considerably. Nearly all the staff are wonderful. The food could be better.
I feel that my father is safe and cared for at Springview. The staff are hard-working, friendly and very caring. They were very helpful when I was trying to get my father settled into the home. I am able to visit at any time of the day and find this reassuring. The food looks fantastic and the staff put on lots of entertainment for the residents and families. I am very pleased with Springview.
My first visit convinced me this was the place for my dear friend. As I entered the door I heard giggles and eye-watering laughter coming from the residents playing coytes; the happy, positive energy followed me all around the home. I was so pleased to note that residents are all encouraged to join in activities and the absence of a TV in the lounge I thought was wonderful! The staff were all very friendly and treated residents with respect and dignity and always gave choices.
I have been a permanent resident of Springview residential care home for 1 year and 5 months. I cannot praise this institution enough. The care that I have received is exemplary. I have been extremely happy here with no complaints. I will strongly recommend Springview to anybody who needs care.
Just a big ‘thank you’ to our parents' carers who accompanied them to their Grandson's Wedding. Our parents became residents of Springview three days apart last August. Their carers (they know who they are) have been wonderful in helping them with this huge transition in their lives. Grateful daughters.
The Christmas Party organised by Springview was excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. All in all, it was a perfect occasion, which my mother really enjoyed. Full marks to the care staff and the catering staff too.
Just wanted to leave a quick review to thank all the lovely staff on floor 1 for taking such good care of my Nan. They're all lovely and check in on her often, she's bedbound now so apart from her visits they are the only company she has. Thank you guys.
All the members of staff at Springview have done an outstanding job looking after one of its residents. The person's health has improved so much ever since he integrated into this welcoming home. His diabetes has improved, speech is better. We can actually now have a conversation with him. He is happy and so are we. So again a big thank you to the whole team.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Always welcomed by staff when visiting. Lovely patio area, but needs an update. Seating/chairs for residents and relatives very uncomfortable: hard steel, no cushions. Residents' rooms are comfortable, but lacking an armchair to relax when in room (rather than lying on the bed).
I have just been to visit a friend at the home. Such lovely staff and a lovely atmosphere, and the carrot cake was the best I have ever tasted anywhere. Thank you to the chef. I will be coming to visit again soon.
My father is very happy at the care home. He has dementia and is happy sitting in the lounge in front of the patio doors, looking at the trees/flowers. He really enjoyed the Kings Coronation event and was very happy with the celebrations/music and food.
I spent a period of three weeks in Springview and was very impressed by the friendly care provided by all the staff. My room was comfortable, and the food was good. The staff were attentive and prepared to offer help in any way. I would have no hesitation in returning in the future.
My mother-in-law has been a resident since 2016, firstly for respite, then permanently. We have nothing but praise for this wonderful care home. The staff are absolutely dedicated to their jobs and take "care" to the highest levels. The kindness shown by the staff in all their various roles is simply amazing. As relatives, we have always felt welcome and have appreciated the ease of communication between us and the home. Nothing is too much trouble. Springview provides a happy and safe environment with a variety of activities if you wish to participate. The food is high quality and beautifully presented, with plenty of choices to appease even the fussiest eater. We cannot recommend Springview highly enough; in fact, I am tempted to reserve a place for myself in the future!
My mother has been at Springview for three and a half years now. The care provided to her is second to none. She is comfortable in the Springview environment and is kept stimulated by the many activities on offer. It is most comforting for me to know that my mother is safe and secure, particularly as I live in South America and only get to see her twice a year on average. I can't praise the staff enough for their kindness and dedication.
The care provided at this home is no item exemplary. Five stars are not sufficient. All the staff were extra caring and helpful; the accommodation was excellent, and the food and entertainment provided were splendid. A special mention to one lady whose help and enthusiasm could not be unpraised.
My mother ended up in hospital for the day, fortunately, it was nothing. When I picked her up and brought her back she was exhausted and hadn't eaten all day. It was 9 pm and the night staff were people she did not know. They greeted her so warmly, found her some food and generally made her feel so welcome she perked up and smiled. This is just one example of how lovely the people are who work at the home. Everyone is charming, helpful and kind, my mother even started calling it the hotel!
I have found as a resident of Springview Care Home, very caring, loving and professional. The staff have done their very best to welcome me and they look after the other residents so very well. The food here is magnificent too.
My mother went to Springview for a respite stay earlier this year. Although she was only there for two weeks, her family were all very impressed with the care she received, particularly in view of the fact that Covid was still making things difficult for everybody. Her room was spacious and comfortable and she ate well throughout her stay. The staff were all respectful and considerate and we know that, should my mother need care in the future, we would have no hesitation in returning to Springview.
Very good care of my mother over six years, including managing her changing needs sensitively.
Mum arrived at Springview after a week in the hospital as a respite resident. She was distressed and depressed, refusing to leave her room and unable to walk unaided. A month later, she is walking with the aid of a frame, chatting with staff and enjoying lunch in the lounge with other residents. She has decided that she wants to be a long-term resident, and I am delighted. The staff have been kind and encouraging to her, supporting her to become more mobile and to participate in the activities and life at Springview - and equally supportive and helpful to me. There has always been someone I can talk to if I have concerns, and any concerns I have had, have been heard and addressed. I am very grateful for the care and professionalism of the staff who have transformed my mum's life, and I feel hugely relieved to know she is safe and happy with them.
