View Full Details of St Teresa's HomeMy wife has been in St Theresa's since August 2024. It is a wonderful care home with a fantastic staff who are always friendly and it is spotlessly clean My wife is very well looked after virtually 24 hours a day whether it be ,in her room or lounge , at nighttime and mealtimes I know from personal experience of looking after her it is so labour intensive but the staff always look after her with a smile on their faces St Theresa's has been a salvation for both of us THANK YOU.
My father is a resident and I find the staff and receptionist always helpful and caring. The holy sisters help as well and are always approachable. The home is very easy to get to by transport. The registered nurse, case manager and staff are always happy and helpful. Thank you.
The staff are very patient, professional, caring and friendly when we come to visit. They have made Mum feel welcome and she’s treated with dignity and compassion. They have good, clean facilities and the food is really good. So very happy she’s moved here. Thanks to them for all the hard work and dedication they give to the residents.
The staff and sisters at St Teresa's are like a family, very kind and caring everyone seems to love their job. Consequently, the home has a welcoming and warm environment. It’s elegant and immaculately clean, our mother was always beautifully turned out, just as she would have been before her Alzheimer’s. The residents are treated with dignity and love.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mother received at St. Teresa’s, from the moment I had to make the very difficult decision, as her only child, to place her there, through to her death and last month. She was given a beautiful room, with natural sunlight, that was always clean and tidy. The staff were amazingly compassionate, attentive and patient with my mother, even when her mental health deteriorated. The food was excellent. Visitors were always made to feel a part of the family. Spiritual needs were taken as seriously as physical ones. Imaginative activities brought each day to life. My mother ended her life peacefully and painlessly at St. Teresa’s, surrounded by the love and prayers of the sisters and staff and it is testament to the quality of their commitment that so many came to her funeral. I would recommend St. Teresa’s to anybody having to put a loved one in care and wanting to ensure their dignity and quality of life was put front and centre every day.
The caring ethos at St Teresa's is remarkable. It is a warm and friendly home which really cares about the welfare of those it looks after. Other homes may have more modern facilities, may look good and may be slick at talking the talk but St Teresa's and its remarkable team of carers have something much more special going for them. They have the palpable warmth and generosity of spirit exuded by the nuns, a team of carers who are genuine and kind and with a sparkle of fun and a manager who has the ability to mix professionalism with a lightness of touch which results in a happy and effective working environment.
Always a pleasure to visit. It’s always clean and my mother-in-law and all the residents are in great spirits. The staff are particularly skilled at maintaining the dignity of all the people who live there despite the medical challenges they may be facing.
My mother is a resident at St Teresa’s since May of this year (2023). The place is pristine, inviting, warm and all one feels in every single interaction with any member of the staff, from the reception to the floor and events staff, is how much they care for the work they do, and the residents. There is a sense of dignity and peace. I believe it is because there is a strong Christian ethos grounded in this place. The presence of the hospitalier sisters is pivotal to the peaceful environment the residents enjoy. This is not a job, but a vocation for everyone working here and it shows. My mother lost her ability to communicate in English, she reverted back to her mother tongue (Spanish). Even the staff who don't understand her Spanish go above and beyond to communicate with her. The nutrition, hydration, personal hygiene, pastoral care and mental stimulation are constant in the care plan for these residents. I have volunteered and worked at care homes and St Teresa’s is unique.
Wonderful caring staff who do a great job! Impeccable cleanliness, kind and welcoming atmosphere. Helpful central London location with flexibility and individual attention. Excellent initiative to be offering an outdoor BBQ during weekends in the Summer. Thank you!
Very peaceful and wonderful ethos at St Teresa’s. Caring and kind staff. The house and gardens are beautifully kept. Excellent food with plenty of choice. A wide range of activities including quizzes, singing, and exercises.
Friendly, well-run care home. Carers are always on hand to assist service users. Meal times are very social occasions, and food is generally good - cooked on-site. The rooms are bright and airy, and the fixtures and fittings are well-maintained.
Everything at St Theresa's Home is wonderful, and my mother is very happy indeed there. Couldn’t be happier with the care she received on a daily basis, and it has transformed all of our lives knowing she is in such safe and caring hands.
The staff at St Teresa’s care home are beyond special. They did a wonderful job looking after our mum, who was on palliative/hospice care from a terminal illness. The staff were all kind, caring and patient. The nuns are remarkable and really provided such tremendous emotional support to my mother. We felt so lucky to have found this gem. Thank you for everything.
They are all helpful and make residents comfortable and look after them... as I can see, giving food is no problem, and giving personal care, it's good too. Around premises is clean and tidy... carers are friendly as well.
In comparison with other care homes we considered for my brother, St Teresa's was the most homely and welcoming and very convenient for my brother's church and for the family to visit. Other friends who visit are also pleased with the friendly, caring atmosphere.
Wonderful staff, very caring. A very cosy atmosphere. Lovely garden to sit in. Lots of activities for the residents. Good food. Very efficient in taking my father to the dentist or opticians, especially during Covid. His clothes are well looked after.
We were uncertain about placing our mother in a care home, but we have been delighted with the results and feel we can trust St Teresa's with her care completely. She is very happy here and gets on well with the staff and other residents. They have kept in touch with us about her welfare as she looks well and has put on weight since she arrived. It has been a difficult year for us all, but our mother being here has meant we can be at ease as to welfare and happiness.
Lovely home, very caring and kind staff. My friend is extremely happy here.
I am very happy with the way my mother is cared for at St Teresa's. All the carers and staff show tact and consideration at all times.
I am delighted to be able to visit my friend again. Always very courteously greeted by the staff, and I feel y friend is being well and kindly looked after.
