View Full Details of Cedar Court Care HomeThe staff look after my brother with kindness, patience and dignity, they listen to him and calm him if needed and encourage him to join in activities. Any medical concerns are dealt with efficiently with a GP if necessary. The staff keep me informed I have no concerns about talking to the staff if I am worried about anything to do with my brother's care. They always listen and take action if needed. I have peace of mind that my brother is in a safe environment.
I cannot fault the home in any way. The care my mum receives is top level. The staff are so caring and friendly, they make everyone feel so welcome. They go above and beyond caring for the residents and helping us (family) when we are struggling with watching our loved ones health decline.
What an amazing place! The staff are genuinely friendly, caring, and loving. I asked my Mum how she feels living at Cedar Court and she said "Part of something.". Due to Mum's dementia, she has some very challenging behaviours which are managed very well. The carers are absolutely outstanding. I can never praise and thank them enough! I feel Cedar staff are part of my Mum's and my family, thank you.
Warm, friendly atmosphere, really nice staff, always get a warm welcome. I find comfort in the fact that my mum is being looked after by such caring and kind people. Clean building and well-maintained rounds. The staff seem so much more friendly than the care home my mum was previously at.
Our experience with Cedar Court Care Home has been amazing. My mum was here for over two years in which she was well looked after and wanted for nothing. The staff are absolutely amazing and extremely caring and helpful which with us living in Spain made this easier and peace of mind as we knew Mum was being looked after.
Very good experience. I could see my family member was well looked after and was comfortable and well.
From the day my mother arrived at Cedar Court, she has been well looked after, has been treated with dignity and friendship. The staff have been respectful, also always willing to talk and keep me updated. Every visit, they are friendly and welcoming. My mother adores them all, and I can see why every time I visit.
Cannot thank staff (including the handyman) for all their care and kindness during a very difficult time for everyone. Whatever is happening you are always treated as family and made welcome. This facility always seems filled with laughter and love, so very important for clients and visitors.
The home is clean and the staff are very calm and friendly and the care they give is excellent and what I see when I visited the home they are attentive. Would never hesitate to recommend this home.
I regularly go in and do a hymn sing with the residents. I am also often called in when there are end of life issues. I have always found, over the past seven years, the home to be friendly, helpful and dignity-giving to the residents.
My sister became a resident of Cedar Court in March 2021. She was in another care home for 11 weeks and went from there into hospital for 6 months. I was very anxious about her moving into another care home because of previous experiences. I was very soon made to feel reassured that she was happy and well cared for. I have been kept fully informed of any changes to her health/care (she was very underweight) and needs constant encouragement to eat. They have even managed to get her to put in a few pounds. I have nothing but praise for the care and kindness she receives from the staff who work in a very challenging profession as well as the additional pressures that the Pandemic has presented.
The staff are excellent - very attentive to both my mother and us - always happy to see you - the residents all seem pleased to be there - home is very clean and bright - all staff are lovely and cannot do enough for their residents. Excellent.
We are so happy that dad has settled here, he is very happy at Cedar Court. Staff are always very pleasant and helpful when we phone and visit. They seem to genuinely care about the residents. Thank you to all the staff at Cedars Court Four Season's Healthcare are very lucky to have them.
I visited Cedar Court Care Home to spend some time with my Mother and brought along an old friend and neighbour of hers. We were greeted in the usual warm manner and taken to my Mother's room. She has a lovely room overlooking the garden and as ever, it was spotlessly clean. She has settled well in the home and is very well looked after. I can see just how much she is cared for and the amount of effort the staff go to to ensure she is comfortable and relaxed. I know quite a few members of staff now, all of which are lovely. They really are like a family, for which I am very grateful.
Mum loved being at Cedar Court. She loved the staff and chose the home because of the animals. They were brilliant with me, keeping in touch and letting me when she wasn't well. Because I am in Australia, it made me feel so much closer. I always thought that she was safe, and they did that for me. Nothing but praise for them. She would not have lasted had she stayed in her own home. A big thank you to them all.
From the terrible day that I took my husband to Cedar Court, knowing it would be the last time he would ever see his home again, the greeting they gave us was lovely. The home may be a little tired and need updating, but that is irrelevant as to the care they provide. They always make me feel welcome when I visit. Now under these most difficult times, they are more than happy to keep me updated on the phone. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the care and understanding they give my husband.
I would like to thank a lot of the team at Cedar Court for looking after my sister until she recently passed away. Over the years I have become friends with a lot of the staff. Even when under extreme pressure they still made time to tell me how my sister was. I wasn't there at the end but I know the carers were. Knowing that she was not by herself is very comforting. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will keep in touch.
My visits always found the staff very helpful and friendly. As time went on my wife became very ill until she passed away. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be by her side but the carers were and that is very comforting to me. At this difficult time, the team at Cedar Court was amazing, very caring and compassionate.
Cedar Court's staff cared for my husband for nine years with so much love and respect. It is a lovely home where the staff go above and beyond the care they give. I was also made to feel so welcome, part of a living, caring family. I will never be able to thank them enough.
Everyone is so helpful and I love how much my aunt is encouraged to join in with activities. The management go above and beyond for both my aunt and family. I would hate for her to be anywhere else.
