View Full Details of Beechwood HouseBeechwood House is a very friendly care home with an excellent manager & staff, we were very happy for my mother to stay there, nothing is to much trouble. Initially we were looking for her to stay there short term but we are so happy with what we have seen that we have decided to prolong her stay there.
Clean, welcoming environment. Friendly staff. Comfortable setting for visitors and residents. Proactive staff. Caring atmosphere.
I always find Beechwood very welcoming and look after my aunt very well.
We are extremely happy with the care and support my mother receives. Her dietary needs and medical needs are all fully catered for.
I am very happy with the care my mother is receiving at Beechwood House. The staff are attentive, friendly and kind. My mother is happy here. She enjoys the food, and her room is pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home.
Mum has been here for a few years now and we have been very happy. Staff are amazing and they care for her very well.
My mother has been well looked after in this care home for more than five years now. The staff are very kind with her and understand her well on a day to day basis. So I'm happy with the way things are at present.
I had a nice experience visiting my grandmother in the care home. She is eating well and seems to be looked after well.
My mother stayed at Beechwood for three weeks on respite. I picked mum up for her return home and was extremely impressed on the overall improvement on mum's speech, mobility and mood. I spoke with three staff members who all seemed to have a genuine fondness and a good rapport with Mum, which seemed reciprocal from mum. Speaking to the manager on the phone was very assuring. The whole respite experience for Mum was very positive. Mum has returned home in an improved state of health and well being, so I must conclude that mum's stay at Beechwood was a very positive one.
The care and support my aunt has received over the last two years has been consistently of the highest standard. The staff are always attentive and she is treated with dignity and respect. I get regular updates about her health and general well-being, if and when any health issues occur they are swiftly dealt with in an appropriate manner.
Although Mum was only at Beechwood House for 6 months, she was treated with great care and respect. The staff were wonderful to both Mum, myself and all her visitors. We were always offered a cup of tea when we arrived and were greeted with a smile. Although Mum had lost her appetite the staff tempted her with a variety of choices and spent time with her ensuring she ate something. The care she received was wonderful.
The staff at Beechwood House are excellent. They are professional, utterly competent and combine efficiency with compassion. The level of care enjoyed by my father is of the highest order. Our family are completely at ease in the knowledge that my father has the best care anyone could wish for and we are deeply grateful.
Despite very very difficult circumstances, my wife settled in excellently very well at Beechwood House. I cannot think of anything more that the home could have done to help her.
My family and I are extremely happy with the care received and grateful also.
Excellent care, my aunt is well looked after and the staff and management are very good.
Mum has been here for some while and during her stay has been well looked after despite highs and lows in her condition. The staff are excellent and I admire their patience immensely.
We required attentive care, a valuing of the individual, quick medical care and attention and a warm, friendly and respectful atmosphere and welcome. All these and more have been experienced and enjoyed from day one at Beechwood House. Somehow the staff and the leadership manage to stay being "all eyes and all ears" constantly whilst maintaining a professional standard. We particularly, therefore, appreciate the patience and goodwill of all the staff with whom we've had contact and observed too. They give equally kind and long-suffering attention to each resident as they need it - and the pressure of offering attentive attention, good humour, support and kindly reassurance and care never seems to diminish at all. The house staff, actually at all hours of the day and night, are terrific in every respect. We're mighty pleased, as we are mightily impressed!! "
All the staff are extremely friendly, very caring and empathetic towards the residents. A carer we know was particularly looking after our friend when we were there. The management always helpful when we ring. The carer is a credit to your care home.
Very well looked after by staff. We as a family are really impressed by the care and attention that Mum receives, also myself and sisters. It is always a very happy place.
When looking for a care home for my grandad, we saw four or five in the local area and Beechwood House ticked all the boxes for us. Homely feel, clean but not clinical, lovely staff who are caring and kind. My grandad had lived in his home since the early fifties and naturally his transition to a care home was always going to be difficult but the wonderful staff helped him to settle in with dignity.
