View Full Details of Ebury Court Care HomeMy auntie had an accident in her own home which made it impossible for her to live there. I looked at many homes in the local area and Ebury Court kept coming to the top of the list, if I had to pick one for myself this would be it. My aunt who has now been in the home for a couple of months now looks at it as her real home and is happy to be there now. She says the ambience of it is lovely, all the staff treat her with dignity and respect, I like the way all the staff call her by her name and not darling etc. She tells me the food is lovely and her room met all her requirements and her room cannot be entered by other residents only by staff as the door is automatically locked when she leaves. Her appearance always looks well-kept with her seeing the hairdresser on a weekly basis. When I explained to her this was going to be her permanent home, she replied with a big smile on her face and said "good"
From day 1 when my sister and I were looking at care homes for our dad, Ebury Court outshone all the others. The grounds, the cleanliness of the home, the activities that are put on for the residents, how well and happy the other residents were and the genuine friendliness of the staff helped us make the decision that this would be the best place for our dad. Dad settled in very quickly. He has always been treated with respect and kindness even if he is having a bad day. He absolutely loves the food - its what I would call homely food. To our dad this is his home now and even if we take him out for the day he loves going back. The management genuinely care about the residents and the staff, they are proud of their home and rightly so. They take every opportunity to include and listen to families. Every member of staff I have met has been kind caring and respectful, no matter what level they are. Ebury Court to me is the Gold Standard of what Care Homes should be.
My aunt and uncle have been happy and very well cared for at Ebury Court Care Home. The staff are lovely, always kind and helpful and genuinely care for residents. The home feels like a home, it's warm and comfortable with a beautiful conservatory and a lovely garden. I have always felt confident that my aunt and uncle are being looked after and communication is very good. Thank you to everyone there.
My dad has been a resident at Ebury Court since early 2024 and our experience has been nothing but positive. As a family this is our first experience of care homes. The team at Ebury Court made an extremely daunting process so much easier to cope with. We know our dad is safe and being cared for either respect.
Ebury Court has been a wonderful place for Mum to call home after she could not safely look after herself any longer. I find the staff there, indeed anyone I have come into contact with associated with Ebury Court, to be kind and caring. Greater testimony than that is that Mum loves those who look after her and says herself how content and rested she is now. I have found the facilities to be spotlessly clean, Mum likes the food and her room, communal facilities are more than comfortable. I could not recommend Ebury Court highly enough.
The standard of care is excellent. The staff are very friendly, caring and treat everyone with respect. I feel the residents are safe and well cared for. The home have a very low staff turnover, which is good for the residents to see the same familiar faces, also for the families. The food always looks amazing and is cooked on site, there is always a choice of menu for the residents.
Ebury Court is a wonderful care home. The staff there are so kind and caring, they are thoughtful and kind and treat everyone with care and dignity. When you walk in at any time, you quite often hear lots of singing. My mother-in-law loves the home cooked food and they have improved her quality of life immensely. Would definitely recommend.
Our search for a suitable care home was during the Covid isolation period but we were immediately impressed by the welcome we received from two staff members who went 'above and beyond' to show us as much of the home as possible. Our Mother resided at Ebury Court for just over two years. Having been diagnosed with dementia, she required professional care which they were able to provide. We found the staff to be extremely caring, well-qualified, and very responsive to her individual needs. Our Mother looked forward to meal times saying that there was always a choice and that the food was good. She loved gardening so appreciated the well-maintained garden at Ebury and the opportunity to sit out in the sun. We were very grateful to know that Mum could remain at Ebury Court where she could receive compassionate 'end of life' care. Overall, it was very evident that Ebury Court is run by a family, as a family, for all resident's families.
Mum has been a resident here for three and a half years, and I still feel extremely fortunate that there was a room when we needed it. Staff here are perfect, attentive, kind and smiley. Due to Covid restrictions, I have only sampled a few samples of food but all good. Mum's memory is bad, but all the time she has been here, she says the food is really good.
My 94-year-old mother had a stroke last year, although she made a remarkable recovery it left her in need of 24-hour supervision. It was therefore with heavy hearts we knew she had to leave her home that she lived in for over 70 years (over 20 years on her own after my dad died). A very loving/loved proud woman that revelled in her independence. We took great care to choose where she would live. From the moment we entered Ebury we knew the others we looked at didn't come close. She has thrived there. The care, kindness, respect and gentleness of all the staff are exceptional.
Ebury Court Care Home provides excellent care for our niece who has advanced Alzheimer's. She, as all the residents, are treated with the utmost respect, and their individual needs are fully met. The atmosphere at Ebury Court is warm and welcoming. Ebury Court is spotlessly clean, and all the staff are committed to caring with compassion.
The standards of care are truly excellent. The staff treated my mother with such kindness and respect. The environment and facilities are spotlessly clean, warm and very homely. The food is home-cooked and lovely. The staff are always very friendly and are very open. It is such a happy place.
A fantastic care home with great staff and facilities.
My then 88-year-old mum moved to Ebury Court in April 2022, after struggling with age-related issues (as well as the pandemic), and we are extremely grateful for the wonderful care she receives in such a lovely environment. The staff are, without exception, endlessly kind and professional; the food is outstanding and visitors always receive a warm welcome. As we prepare to celebrate her 90th birthday, it's such a relief to know Mum is finally safe and happy, after a very difficult time. A huge thank you to the team at Ebury Court for all the amazing work you do.
My mother went into Ebury court in March 21 and it gave her a new lease of life. She was well cared for by the lovely staff, who I could not fault at all. Their attention to detail was above and beyond. They were easy and approachable and knew how to care for Mum for all of her needs as well as the family’s.
My mother has been living at Ebury Court since April 2022, as her personal mobility meant that she was unable to live unsupported in her own home anymore and consequently had carers visiting 4 times a day. Sad to say, they weren’t always the best and we were then lucky enough to find Ebury Court and get a room for Mum. She has positively thrived since then and her life has transformed. Every member of staff that I have met has been excellent. They all know her and it is very clear that everyone from the owners all the way through to the youngest member of staff loves what they do and consequently do it to the absolute highest standards. I can honestly say that this care home is entirely deserving of its outstanding status and couldn’t think of anywhere else where my mum would feel so cared for and cherished. My thanks go to each member of the team!
Dad has been in Ebury Court since June 2021 after the loss of his lovely wife/mum. I can't express the care Dad gets at Ebury Court. He has been there for just over 2 years now, he celebrated his 91st birthday in September and they celebrated with him and made him feel so special. The care he gets is 5-star, the staff are lovely and friendly and the manager arranges family meetings by video for those who wish to join, to keep the family informed of things going on in the home (usually once a month) I cannot recommend Ebury Court enough.
My wife has been in the home since March 2021. Many of the staff have been at Ebury Court Care Home for a decade or more. When you enter the premises you can feel the warmth, friendship and love from the staff. Nothing is too much trouble - you ask and if it is possible, it will result in action being taken. The house and garden, now that Covid restrictions have eased and the weather getting warmer, will bring another dimension to being able to enjoy the surroundings.
During the depths of the pandemic, my Mother-in-Law reached a point in her personal health where she was no longer able to live independently and the level of care she needed exceeded what was available. My husband and I live in Canada and we were in desperation as we couldn't go to help, or help find a new home for her. With help from her social worker, we were able to place her at Ebury Court Care Home. The social worker believed that the small, family-style home would be a perfect fit for my Mother-in-Law. The moment she arrived at Ebury in March of 2021, we went from full-time panic to full peace and security. She was happy, the level of care absolutely exceptional. I am writing today because she is in the end stages of cancer but she looks better than she has in years. She is happy, she is loved and cared for and the staff treats her like their own loved Aunt - even taking her for special treats on her good days. Thank you to the staff, managers and carers at Ebury.
Mum died in March this year and I just wanted to express my thanks to all the staff at Ebury Court for their care and compassion. I had a call on the Wednesday to say that Mum wasn’t good and I spent that day and each day after that with her until the Saturday when she died peacefully in her room at Ebury Court. My brother and sister were there with us when she died and I couldn’t imagine a more peaceful place for our Mum to be. Her window looked out on the gardens and sometimes we played her music and at others, we quietly chatted. Each time the staff popped in to check on Mum, we were asked if we wanted anything to eat or drink. All of the staff that came in were very respectful of Mum’s dignity. Due to Covid lockdowns, Mum had become particularly close to her carers and they were her new family. Of course, she treasured our visits but it was evident how much she thought of the carers at Ebury Court and so to die at home was exactly what she would have wanted.
