View Full Details of Lee HouseMy cousin has settled into Lee House despite a difficult year medically this year. Although she is still struggling having lost her independence, I'm happy that she is secure and safe in Lee House.
My mum has been at Lee House for over five years. I live overseas and appreciate all the care she receives and all the support given to me, from keeping me informed to getting things that Mum needs when I'm not in the UK. I visit regularly for extended periods and always find everyone welcoming, friendly and caring. Many of the staff have been at Lee House for a number of years, and this continuity helps create a great atmosphere. Being a carer is a tough job; the staff are wonderful, and many go the extra mile for the residents. Everything is well organised, and the premises are well maintained and clean, and the garden is lovely. Thank you everyone.
My mother has been at Lee House for over 5 years and is very content and well looked after. The care staff are all extremely kind, respectful and hard-working. The home is very well run and we are kept informed of all aspects of my mother’s care and general well-being, which gives us great comfort. The setting is perfect. My mother has a large light room looking over a lovely garden which provides real tranquility and calm for her. She couldn’t be in a better place.
I share Power of Attorney with a friend for my late husband’s cousin’s widow who very sadly has Alzheimer’s. She moved into Lee House in September 2020. Thanks to the kindness and wisdom of the staff at Lee House my cousin-in-law settled very quickly. As her illness progresses she is receiving more care. She always looks well looked after. When I visit her she is always very happy to see me. When I leave she is equally happy to see me go. This shows me she looks upon Lee House as home and feels very secure. When I walk into Lee House I always think this is lovely, so bright and cheerful. The Manager and her staff are always approachable and open to any suggestions we may have. Thank you Lee House.
A lovely environment with hard-working staff who show real affection and a deeply caring attitude towards my mum. Thanks principally to this, she seems very happy for which we are truly grateful. She enjoys living in her spacious room (large enough to accommodate some of her own things) overlooking a terrace with the beautiful garden and mature trees beyond. We are delighted that she now views the permanent staff and her fellow residents as a second, much larger, extended family.
Lovely place. Caring staff who think about what the resident would like as an individual. Plenty of activities to keep you going. The room is allowed to be personalised and as my mother has a patio she is also allowed to grow plants outside. All staff very considerate and respectful.
Staff are always welcoming they treat my friend with respect and friendliness. My friend is always clean and has been helped to put on her makeup. She appears happy and satisfied. She greatly enjoys the activities.
My mother moved into Lee House just over a year ago, having been living alone in her own house independently at the age of 93. It was a big change for her, but it has been a great success. She couldn't be happier. She has a lovely room overlooking the garden, with her own ensuite bathroom and sports on the telly. The staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. She has made new friends. She likes the food. She also likes sitting in and walking around the garden, especially when the sun is out. The manageress is very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional, as well as caring and approachable. The mother of a friend of my wife's is now on the waiting list as a result of our recommendation.
Management and staff of the care home are so caring and really try to do their very best for the residents, very gratifying and much appreciated.
Warm and welcoming staff, who are always aiming to deliver person-centred care. Lovely room and facilities with a balcony overlooking the garden. Lee House is in a beautiful spot. It is very clean and has a lovely non-institutional home-like atmosphere. My mother is very contented here and settled easily. Highly recommended!
This really is a fantastic care home. My aunt was very happy here. It’s a lovely location, very nicely decorated, beautifully clean, and very well run. The carers are attentive and very nice. My aunt had a south facing room with french windows overlooking the pretty garden. It was a perfect place for her twilight days. If anything I wish she had moved here sooner.
Over the last 3 years that my mother has been a resident of Lee House she has felt happy and secure. The staff are friendly and approachable and have made great efforts over the last year in particular to stay in regular contact and facilitate both virtual and in-person visits for relatives. My mother loves her room, with its balcony overlooking the garden, and enjoys the life of the house which has quickly become a home from home.
My aunt has lived at Lee House nearly 8 years and is now 101 and blind. The care has been amazing - everyone is so kind, caring and cheerful and the home is sparkling clean, bright, friendly and vibrant. I can't praise it enough and would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Lee House.
My mother has been a resident in this care home for over a year and has not a bad word to say about it. I have found the staff to be helpful, pleasant and caring without exception and there is a great atmosphere.
Excellent.
Very comfortable and excellent attention.
Very reliable, pleasant, good facilities.
I found the standard of care and support at Lee House to be exceptional, the house is well maintained and the residents needs are catered to a high standard. The manager was always friendly and approachable, and the staff showed care and compassion to the residents. I would highly recommend Lee House to anyone looking for a care environment for their loved one.
Extremely efficient, knowledgeable and caring manager. She knows her residents and staff very well. All conversations and requests have always acted upon with efficiency and speed. They have made my friend a new person since she entered the home. She walks better, has put on weight and no longer suffers from the various problems she had on entering the home. She always looks nice and all her personal needs are handled with care. The staff show a great deal of empathy (in my opinion) with the residents. Kind and caring staff.
I cannot describe how caring and nice all the staff are at Lee House. My aunt is 99 and has been her for at least 3 years. I cannot fault any staff they are all so nice.
