I am pleased with the care that my mother receives. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is some clutter in the conservatory and some of the lights could be brighter. However, I understand that some of these things are being looked at.
The owners and managers at Manor House were very kind and extremely helpful when I had to move my mother from her previous care home when it closed down at short notice during the pandemic. The staff were very caring and made my mother's last few months as comfortable as possible, I could not have been happier with her care.
I visit an old friend regularly - usually once a week - and am impressed by care shown to him and by the friendly atmosphere of the home I contrast to the impersonal nature of many larger homes. The recent introduction of fresher food for the meals is a great improvement, appreciated by my friend. I would recommend the home to anyone.
We looked carefully at many nursing homes for our elderly cousin to live in, and got a warm feeling about Manor House, which we are glad to have acted on. Our cousin lived for seven years at Manor House, receiving caring, personal attention. It was always a pleasant place for myself and my young son to visit, with a very pretty garden and a friendly resident ginger cat. The carers have been patient, loving and sensitive to our cousin's needs, keeping us informed of any medical issues that have arisen. We are grateful to the staff of Manor House for taking such good care of our cousin over the years.
My 90-year-old cousin stayed at the Manor House Care Home, Morden for the whole of June and July. The care home staff did a wonderful job. They nursed my cousin back to health, and arranged GP and hospital visits as necessary. By early August, my cousin was able to return to her home where she is now. Special thanks to the management and all the other staff who were so caring.
Mum seems happy in Manor House. Mum has dementia and loves the staff. The staff are amazing and treat Mum with dignity and respect. The food looks lovely but unfortunately, Mum eats very little, because of her dementia, but loves her puddings.
