View Full Details of Marling Court Care HomeMy cousin is being well looked after and, most importantly, he says he is happy where he is. He enjoys the food and his body weight is normal for his height whereas he was very underweight before he moved to Marling Court. He says he likes the staff and carers and is very happy with how he is looked after.
Friendly, helpful, caring staff. I have peace of mind knowing that Mum is at Marling Court, I know she is safe, clean and happy, and her wellbeing is their priority. There are indoor activities and off-site visits. Would I recommend the place - absolutely, I would!
I would like to see my sister reacting in a meaningful way with fellow residents but I suppose it is in the nature of her illness that this is not possible. The staff are invariably helpful and cheerful, often in quite difficult circumstances.
My sister-in-law seems content and appreciative of the fact she doesn't have to worry about feeding herself or cleaning etc. And that she doesn't have any responsibilities to worry about. I have found the staff friendly and sensitive to my sister-in-law's needs. I wish she would be more open to the events offered at the care home, but I know she can be obstinate.
The staff are friendly, rooms are clean.
My father first came here in September 2023 on a respite but a couple of weeks after his return we realised that we could not look after him so he returned to Marling. I cannot thank the staff for all the wonderful care they gave my father. This was a lovely home for him and there was nothing that I could fault.
Lovely home, looking after Mum very well, gives me peace of mind knowing Mum is cared for and safe.
Admin and care staff are really excellent. They provided excellent care and excellent communication about the welfare of the resident. All of the staff seemed to really care about the welfare and well-being of the resident.
Always friendly and help you both my Mmm and us when we visit. The staff obviously care for my mum. Mum is very happy there. She is 99 and, until last year, lived on her own and looked after herself. So a big change for her. The only criticism is hard to speak to Mum on the phone at the weekends, seldom is the phone answered.
All the staff, carers and admin, are very helpful to me and seem to genuinely give my husband as much care as possible. The only downside is the difficulty at weekends and bank holidays in getting into and out of the home without anyone in the office to open/close the front door or answer the phone.
This was the first time I put my father in a care home and I was so worried about him. Last time I had a holiday was June 2016. I went for two weeks while Dad was in the care home. I was so surprised to see him so happy, he was so friendly with all the residents. The love and care I saw from the carers, nurses and all the staff, even the manager, every one of them were amazing people. So loving and caring and I appreciate them all.
A very well-run care home with engaged, keen and well-trained staff. No details were overlooked and my family was made very welcome.
Always found management and staff to be kind and helpful but don't know any other homes to compare it with. I would like to have the post delivered on the same day, rather than always having to ask for it.
I am delighted that my wife has been able to stay at the Marling Court. The home has a very welcoming appearance and is secure with regard to the epidemic situation. The care staff and management team have been very attentive to my wife's needs and always supportive with my visits. My wife was very complimentary about the catering and enjoyed the activity sessions. I would readily recommend the Marling Court for their care.
My grandmother has been a resident at Marling Court since January this year and my mother and I are really happy with the care that she's receiving there. She's in much better shape than when she moved in, and every time we see her she seems to have improved. The carers and management are doing a great job, and we're confident that my grandmother is in very good hands.
My aunt, who recently died, lived at Marling Court since 2009. When she first moved there, she was quite mobile and used to be able to walk over to the local supermarket and pub! In recent months, she was more or less bed-bound, but she was always treated with care and kindness.
Marling Court is a small care home in Hampton. The staff are always very friendly and helpful when I visit or telephone regarding my mum. The home is always clean and tidy. Mum always looks presentable and is obviously well looked after. I am lucky that I can be assured that Mum is in good hands.
Great care in a nice setting. Always good communication too. Mum has a nice room, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Facilities are always clean. Would defiantly recommend Marling Court to anyone who was considering this sort of home.
Hi, my mother has been at Marling Court since December 2020. All the staff are very caring and supportive of my Mother. My Mum has had a lot of falls and I feel Mum is in excellent hands at Marling Court. Staff Support mum in her day to day needs and encourage her to join in the activities. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are always happy and have a smile.
I am very satisfied with the care given to my husband. The carers are very kind and hard working. All of the staff are experienced, and I have always found them helpful in all situations. Visiting is well organised, and it is particularly lovely that we are now able to hold the hands of our loved ones. During the pandemic, things have been so difficult for the staff as well as the residents, not to mention their relatives, but great care has been given to keep them safe at all times, and the testing is great. Good that they have received both vaccinations.
