View Full Details of Nightingale HouseMum lived with me in a busy household for over 7 years. After breaking her hip and a month in hospital her dementia escalated. It was with a heavy heart that I realised it was not the best choice to keep her at home. She was no longer able to manage stairs, was sleeping most of the day and unable to be left alone. Having visited 3 other care homes I entered Nightingale House and knew within 10 minutes that it was the right place for mum. The staff are all so lovely and care so much about each and every resident. Mum is thriving and doing so much more than she was at home. The food is very good and she's starting to put on a much needed bit of weight. She hasn't once asked to 'come home'. She is very content and settled. I have no concerns about her living with her lovely new family, she's in the best care home and we were so lucky that they were able to accommodate her. Our family is a close one and we all visit regularly and we feel very welcome by everyone. Thank you.
My grandmother became a resident of Nightingale House in January 2025 after living with my mum for eight years. We were so worried she would be sad to leave home, but we could not have been happier with how she has settled in at Nightingale House. The staff are exceptional, so kind, friendly and have us feeling so confident that Grandma is in the best place. She literally looks like a new woman. After spending days alone at home while everyone is at work, she is now surrounded by the most attentive staff, all day, every day. Thank you so much.
My dad stayed at Nightingale House for three months and I cannot recommend them enough. All the staff are so caring and friendly. It was so amazing to see Dad, who suffered with dementia, interact with the staff and smile so much when he saw them. They were very tentative about his needs and made sure he had everything he needed. They also made me feel very welcome when I went to visit. He had a lovely day when they did a bank holiday BBQ and put on an amazing spread of food, with a singer and everyone was dancing. If anyone is looking for a care home for a loved one I would highly recommend Nightingale House. I couldn't fault them at all.
The staff at Nightingale House are all so lovely - professional, attentive, and always ready to help. The manager and activities coordinator in particular go above and beyond, taking my aunt out to her medical appointments and ensuring all her needs are met. The facilities are simple but comfortable, and the building is within a short walk from Twickenham High Street.
My Godmother is so happy and cared for at the home. She couldn't be in a better place. She is looked after, given love and attention, and is always in the best of spirits when I visit her there. Thank you to the whole team for making these such happy times for her.
Nightingale House has an excellent manager and a lovely group of staff. The environment is very caring and supportive and my aunt is very comfortable there - many thanks to the whole team!
I am very happy with the care my mum gets from the staff, who are very attentive and I am very impressed with the home, which is always clean, inviting and fit for purpose. The addition of the events coordinator is a great asset, with all the activities she arranges for the residents. The summer BBQ was a particularly nice idea.
This will be my last review as my dear mother passed away in mid July 2024. I thank all the staff for giving her the appropriate end-of-life care. They kept her comfortable most of the time. Even the kitchen staff did their best to prepare meals that they hoped she would eat. The cleaner kept her room tidy. The above staff always popped in to say hello and have a quick chat with her. The main carer has got a heart of gold. His care was genuine. Mum loved him. The best part was there was this lovely carer who stayed with her holding her hands till the end of her passing. I cannot thank her enough. I am not allowed to mention names but I am sure the individuals know who I mean. I take this opportunity to thank the Manager and all her team for all they have done. It can be busy sometimes but look out for each other. That is what teamwork is all about. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
I am delighted to submit this review, as on Friday 23rd of August, I had the pleasure of attending the Nightingale Care Home BBQ for residents, relatives and staff. The BBQ and afternoon events, including live singing entertainment, encapsulated and demonstrated the professionalism, integrity and understanding of residents, by Stag Care, the Nightingale House and especially staff. The BBQ was an extremely happy event, blessed by lovely weather, where all the residents and guests were made to feel welcome, truly an all-inclusive social event. Events such as this, coupled with the excellent and consistent care for my mother's health and well-being ensure the highest quality of life for my mother and the other residents. I and my family are immensely grateful for all the care home does for my mother especially the extra events such as the BBQ, which make such a difference and require staff to work even harder than they do normally.
My mother has been a resident at Nightingale House for nearly 2 years. I want to praise the staff - carers, support and catering - who make her stay there very pleasurable. My mother is now in much better shape than she was in 2022 and that's fantastic given her age. The staff are kind and caring and the catering is brilliant.
Whenever I visit my mother she always seems relaxed and happy. The staff are always very attentive, polite and helpful. Staff always take time to help my mother dress nicely. I am so pleased about this as my mother always took pride in her appearance. I am very happy with the care my mother receives.
I greatly appreciate all the care and conscientious support given to my uncle in Nightingale. This review is mainly to recognise the wonderful team there. Too many to name all, and everyone does such a great job in what is very hard work. I am constantly in awe of the positivity and compassion they show.
My mother has been in Nightingale House for almost two years now, and has received excellent care and support. The staff are so friendly and caring and always encourage her to participate in activities. It is very important for me to feel that she is well taken care of and safe. I live abroad and call her often and receive pictures of her, all of which help us to remain close. The home could do with some updating.
My mother has received excellent care and support at Nightingale House. The staff have always been very kind to her and I was delighted to receive photos of my Mum enjoying the activities arranged and sent by one staff member. Thank you!
I'm very pleased with the running of Nightingale House. The staff are very friendly and look after Dad reasonably well when he's in the mood. The home is well kept and he seems very at home. I would like to thank everybody who is involved with his care.
Following a home assessment, my wife was admitted to Nightingale, and a warm and friendly atmosphere with attentive staff greeted us. We were made comfortable and shown a large, bright room with adjacent W.C. The staff took care of everything and before long, my wife was settled in. Subsequent visits have been many and refreshments and even lunch is always offered. I enjoy each visit and sharing a meal with my loved one is a bonus. The main carer is a particular asset.
This is a small and friendly residential care home that I have visited for over 5 years. The staff here are always welcoming, personable, and approachable. The home holds regular entertainment/leisure activities in which the residents can participate if they so choose. I have always found the home clean and the staff attentive and caring in support of the residents there.
