Very warm staff who actually care. Very warm atmosphere. Always clean and tidy.

My Mom was at Riverview Lodge for 20 months until her passing. I live overseas and visit every 3 months. The staff were excellent with my Mom's care and helped her enjoy all the activities. They were also good with their communication with me.

It's a wonderful home. Lovely carers and excellent management and the activities are wonderful. I go on trips to the local garden centre and walks. Good food. I am happy here and I have no problems. The location of the home is good as well. The staff listens and gives me respect and we are like a family here.

My Mother has been extremely well cared for at Riverview Lodge since the 1st of November 2022. When breaking her hip forced a decision to no longer live independently. Her room is very pleasant with a garden view and the regular sound of birdsong coming through the window. The carers and support staff are very good and they engage well with her in conversation as well as providing practical care. It has been wonderful that she has adjusted to calling Riverview 'her house' and 'goes home' to her room - a real tribute to the lovely atmosphere.

This is a wonderful care home where my loved one is exceptionally loved and looked after by all the staff here. I have total piece of mind that he is on the best care home and that he is always well looked after. It is clean, the meals are brilliant and the staff are wonderful. The manager is fantastic and does a great job, helpful, caring, and most importantly understanding.

My dad is settling into Riverview really well and is very happy. He absolutely loves taking part in all the activities, especially dancing and singing. The weekly music therapy is excellent. Every single member of staff is friendly, compassionate, and caring towards Dad and us as a family. We know that Dad is getting the best care from the staff and is very well looked after, giving us peace of mind. Every time we visit the staff all make us feel at home and so welcome and ensure we are updated on how he is doing. The staff have taken the time to get to know Dad and ensure that they play on his strengths. Thank you so much for the wonderful home you provide.

My father-in-law joined Riverview Lodge in February 2024. And all I can say is, that his daughter and I cannot praise the home enough. The staff are caring and treat him with respect. Nothing is too much trouble. And they keep us up to date with any problems.

My mother has settled very happily at Riverview Lodge. She now sees it as "home". That is very good progress given this is the first experience she has of being cared for.

My aunt is a resident. I am her nephew. I am able to say she looks well and seems content. I have seen her after she has been returned from hospital after she had a chest infection.

The home really does make every effort to promote quality of life and personal choice for the residents. Mum was encouraged to join in social activities such as keep-fit and music sessions. The food is all home-cooked, the best quality and plentiful! Sadly, Mum was at the home for less than two months. After a short hospital admission, the manager was more than willing to make the urgent arrangements needed for her to return from the hospital to Riverview Lodge for palliative care. In her last week, the home allowed me to stay with her as much as I wanted. I was made to feel extraordinarily welcome. During those last days, I experienced the amazing warmth, kindness and generosity of all the wonderful staff, from the cleaners to the carers and the manager. They took as much care of me as they did of Mum. It felt like being hugged in a warm blanket of kindness and love. I can't say more; it's just an oasis of love in Northwest London. Thank you, Riverview Lodge!

Our mother attended Riverview Lodge in July 2023, which was arranged at very short notice. The manager accepted Mum's respite for the 2-week stay. On arrival, we were met by the deputy manager. The staff and other residents were ever so welcoming and friendly and made Mum feel at ease. This was reassuring for myself and sister. During Mum's stay, she interacted with different activities, which was great and brought out her social skills. We were both very pleased with the overall care that Mum received at Riverview Lodge. Thank you.

This was our second visit to Riverview Lodge. Firstly, let me compliment the staff for their attentiveness and friendly attitude. This care/residential home provided a supportive and nurturing atmosphere, ensuring my mother felt safe and cared for while I took a well deserved break. The only negative is the lengthy assessment, which could have been made shorter if the original assessment taken a few months back was made available. However, in conclusion a health check is imperative and overall I was satisfied with the services provided.

I would like to give my sincere thank you to every member of staff from the manager to care workers, cooks, and cleaners who have worked hard together as a family. My mum is very happy and they made her feel at home. All my family are so proud of choosing MHA Riverview Lodge.

Riverview Lodge is a very friendly place, they try very hard to make the residents feel comfortable. The staff are good and I will recommend this home to anyone and everyone. The team are very friendly here and my mother-in-law is happy.

My husband stayed at Riverview Lodge for 2 weeks, he told me that he enjoyed his stay, and he said that the staff looked after him very well. Our children and my siblings also confirmed that when they visited him, which was often, they found him to be in good spirits. I would not hesitate to use this service again.

Good service and staff are helpful and are always willing to go the extra mile. Activities are good and meals are also. The manager of the service is helpful and always attentive to what meets the needs of the residents and the home.

All staff from the manager, deputy manager, nurses and care assistants were kind and helpful. Some problems with the provision of medication but this was sorted out. There appears to be no provision for activity at this home (I think the member of staff responsibly had left) Staff were willing to walk mum to the garden and to help mum phone home.

Some staff are dedicated and committed, while others are pretty unhelpful and do not respond to caring needs. Also, lack of staffing and agency staff used. Grounds are delightful, which attracted us to the home. Laundry can be a muddle.
