Thank you for providing respite care for our aunt. At very short notice you helped us have peace of mind that she would be cared for whilst we were away. She loved her room and liked the staff very much. Additionally, you lent us equipment when we had an emergency after she moved back into her own home. Very kind of you and much appreciated.
My cousin, a single gentleman, lived in the same house for 77 years so moving into a care home was a huge change for him. Staff at Spring Lane were incredibly patient, empathetic and gentle with him from day one so he settled in fairly easily and is now totally at home there. I am immediately informed about any problems, appointments or issues that affect him - communication is excellent. Visitors are made to feel welcome and the atmosphere in the home is peaceful and happy with many activities available to residents. My cousin's room is kept clean and tidy, as are his clothes. He is given gentle reminders when needed about his personal hygiene, without making him feel embarrassed. My thanks to all the staff at Spring Lane, you are all doing an amazing job and it's greatly appreciated.
The moment I stepped into the relaxed and welcoming environment of Spring Lane Care Home, I knew that this would be the right place to bring my aunt. Throughout her stay, the staff were professional, friendly and attentive and always willing to discuss my aunt’s individual needs with me. I was impressed with the regular close contact, informing me of the state of my aunt’s health and details of follow-up treatments and necessary adjustments. I’d like to thank every single member of the staff from the bottom of my heart for their kindness and dedication to the care of my aunt.
I would like to thank Spring Lane for looking after a dear friend of mine, who has been a resident for over three months. I visit regularly and have been impressed with the service provided. All the staff have been excellent and friendly to us. The facilities and entertainment provided help to stimulate the patients with their well-being. I found it a friendly environment, and the in-house catering service was excellent. The patients often form friendships within the care home. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility.
As always, the quality of care at such places is entirely dependent on the staff. Spring Lane has a real culture of professionalism and pride in providing the best possible care for the residents. The carers exude warmth, humour, and genuine affection, not only for those they care for but for their families and friends too. There is good communication from the home to family members regarding any changes in health conditions, and decisions are always jointly made. A high level of trust is therefore built up, ensuring peace of mind for all concerned.
Great care home. Friendly staff.
I visit my mother every day. I see for myself how hard the staff work caring for the residents.
My mum has been living at Spring Lane for two years. During this time, she has been very well cared for. The staff are all caring, considerate, respectful and kind. My mum always praises the comfortable bed, the good food and the kindness of people around her. Myself and my sisters only have praise for the staff at Spring Lane. My mum is happy and settled, we couldn’t ask for more.
We are delighted with the care at Spring Lane. Our mother is very contented, which is great to see. She is very happy with the food and with the care that she receives. On visits, we see that the residents are well looked after. Activities are plentiful, and there is always a lovely, warm and friendly atmosphere. Our mother's room is a good size for her, clean and well-appointed. We are very grateful to the staff for their thoughtfulness and consideration of the residents' needs.
My mother has been a resident at Spring Lane since 2014. Her care has always been exemplary, and the team has been extremely responsive to her needs as her Alzheimer's has worsened. The facilities and environment are brilliant, as is the range of activities. The home is very well managed, and the carers are always friendly, helpful and informative to relatives, and, most importantly, loving and supportive to residents. Staff turnover seems to be low too. I always feel confident that my mother is in the best place she could be.
My mum has been a Spring Lane resident for nearly four years now. In all that time, she has been very well cared for by staff, who I cannot speak highly enough of. Their care, kindness and respect for residents and their families is to be admired. I feel that Spring Lane is very much part of the local community, which adds to its friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent standard in all areas.
Very caring, kind and efficient at Spring Lane.
I am very happy here and find the management and staff very helpful, kind and wonderful. Food good. Rooms very clean, and staff and management wonderful.
My family and I are delighted with the amazing care my Dad is receiving by all the wonderful staff at Spring Lane. We are very thankful and grateful to all the staff for considering his needs and making him comfortable.
My mother, aged 101, has lived in Spring Lane for two and a half years. Her level of care needs are relatively minimal, although she is registered blind and is very hard of hearing. Spring Lane has a well established team of carers, mostly kind and very caring. The home has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and a sense of informality, coupled with generally well worked out systems, procedures and structures - a good combination. Spring Lane is part of a group of three homes, set up and still owned by the original medical family who established it, and they are still involved. Leadership and management are satisfactory, and there is a kind, experienced and very responsive team at deputy management level. I was not happy with the way Springdene handled a complaint eighteen months back, and have concerns about the current refurbishment programme being carried out with residents in situ, although I don’t know how else this could have been done. However, would I choose this home again? Yes.
Spring Lane is a lovely care home in Muswell Hill with excellent staff and very good facilities, including good size bedrooms and a very large, modern ground floor lounge and diner. The staff communicate very well and are eager to address any concerns. Dad has been really happy there and although the care is expensive, the residents are treated with dignity and respect.
Salient points from my experience of Spring Lane - the kindness and friendliness of the staff, together with the excellent care given to residents. The warm and welcoming atmosphere - I especially liked the flower arrangements in the lounge and the displays recording the changing seasons and festivals. The range of activities offered to residents, some of which such as a harp recital which visitors can also enjoy.
Very good clean care home, all the carers are friendly and lovely and easy to approach and ask questions and they even look after you when visiting your loved ones. All managers and receptionists are very caring and helpful and always send you newsletters to let you know of activities that are happening at the home and will always keep you informed of your relatives well well-being etc. Very good care home, would recommend it to anyone. Wishing all at Spring Dene Care Home a very very Happy Christmas and a very very Happy New Year 2024.
My mother is not the easiest of residents because she is in the early stages of dementia and also has mobility issues (we definitely could no longer care for her at home). All of the staff at Spring Lane could not have been more caring or supportive, and my mother is genuinely much happier than she was in her own home. This is a really well-run care home where everyone follows procedures, where they organise lots of interesting activities throughout the day, the family can visit whenever they like (including the dog!), the food is excellent, and they definitely do their best to match up to their stated aim of being a home from home. We can see that they meet a lot of different needs, and they accomplish this by treating everyone as an individual.
