View Full Details of Ambassador HouseThe most impressive aspect of my stay is the warmth of the staff, they are attentive, kind and courteous. They do a lot to accommodate my eating habits. I've never been treated so well, I'm grateful. In the future should I require higher levels of care, no doubt Ambassador House would be my first choice, provided the management is still there. Thank you.
I lived on my own and I was placed at the Ambassador House by the hospital. I was against it but I have been proved wrong. The care home provides me with security and facilities that I need. The care is excellent.
I am more than happy with Mum staying in the care home. I have no concerns with her care or safety. The staff are all very professional and helpful. Keep up the good work.
From the moment we walked through the doors at Ambassador we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The home is well-maintained and has a homely feel. The staff are exceptional and treat Mum with much love, care and dignity. They treat her with the utmost respect. Their dedication to Mum's well-being is evident in every interaction. Mum doesn't have dementia and is able to address her likes and dislikes, and nothing is a problem for the staff at Ambassador. In summary Ambassador is a beacon of excellence in elder care. Mum calls Ambassador her home which is comforting to her family.
Ambassador House is welcoming, warm and friendly. They are very supportive of the residents and their families. It's a difficult decision to have to put your relative into a care situation, but Ambassador House staff made the transition easier and reassured us every step of the way.
The care for my mum has been excellent. There is a dedicated manager for the care home. I have seen real dedication and enthusiasm from the senior team and carers. I’m very thankful for the care my mother has received and I pray the care team will continue to impart the care witnessed.
I never thought I would be living in a home but circumstances changed my life when I went into hospital then I was discharged to Ambassador House Care Home where I have been living for a while now. I am well looked after, all my care needs are met and the food is good, there is always something to eat and drink. The management team and staff are very well trained to do their jobs. I am comfortable and well looked after here, most appreciated.
My mum has been at the care home since June 2020 as she has dementia. A lot of the staff have been with her since she arrived and her care has always been good. Recently, the staff were able to move her to a new room as a ground floor one became available. It was lovely to see that all her bits and pieces had been arranged in the room for her so it was very welcoming for her move. We always have plants in her room, especially Orchids and the carers keep them in tip-top condition for us. It's always clean and tidy and the staff care for her very well. As she went into the home during Covid, we were unable to visit for some time, and the staff were excellent at helping her to settle in. Always happy to visit her there and it has a real homely feeling.
Friendly staff, especially the deputy manager. Always goes over and beyond, nothing is too much trouble.
The staff are friendly, always makes us a cup of tea. Our friend is always clean and well-dressed, he seems happy here. Facilities are clean and well-maintained.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. My mum has a lovely room which is very cosy and kept very clean. On the cost, I think everyone would like it cheaper but personally I cannot fault the home.
The staff have treated my mum and stepdad with consideration, professionalism and kindness. We didn't realise that Mum and Stepdad would spend their last days in the home, but they couldn't have been anywhere better. They felt safe, cared for and supported. As a family, heartfelt thanks to all the team for helping us to let go and allowing them to do a great job.
The staff at Ambassador House have really cared for my mother greatly. They ensured all her physical needs were appropriately met. My mum loved living at Ambassador House and loved the staff. The care and attention provided was to a high standard. Special thanks to a group of staff members, not forgetting the cook and all other staff. I want to say, thank you.
Ambassador House have been both kind and professional in their approach to caring for both my husband's mum and her husband. You can see they try to make the best of any situation. It is such a difficult time for myself and my husband as we deal with the care of two people but they have helped us to do the best for them. Thanks to all the team.
Firstly, our mother went into Ambassador House 2016, during that time to May 2022, her stay there has always been delightful, tended well by care staff and management. Particularly, however, in the last years of her life under the fantastic management of the manager and her brilliant staff (too many to name individually), to whom we are indebted, managed her. Our mother had a great life and nothing was too much for them in terms of giving her good care. They all looked after our mother individually with love, affection, care and dignity, absolute 'excellence'. All the staff handled and coped with many challenges, uncertainty and changes during the covid-19 pandemic in keeping not only all residents safe and covid free but themselves too. Words cannot describe the service they have facilitated throughout and I personally would have unequivocally no hesitation in recommending Ambassador House to other families or friends. On behalf of my family, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each member of staff at Ambassador House who tended our mother and we will always hold them dear in our hearts. We wish Ambassador House Team continued success, best wishes now and for the future.
My mother has been in the same home for 3years now and is really happy with all her new friends, both residents and staff. She is comfortable, safe and at home here. The staff are very friendly, happy and smiley, providing a relaxing and welcoming environment. As my mum's condition changes, the staff provide for her accordingly. Always giving her dignity. I can't thank the staff enough for such a fantastic job that they are doing. Thank you!
Mum is treated very well, and even though she has dementia, due to the great care she gets from the care team here, she recognises them all and shows her love to them. Always kept fully informed of any incidents or illness. Have used other local care homes for periods of respite previously and they did not even come close to showing the care provided at Ambassador House. Thank you for giving me peace of mind knowing mum is so well cared for.
Cannot think of a better place for Mum to be residing. The staff/carers are very professional and I know she is in good hands. This gives us, as a family, great peace of mind.
My dad came here for 2 weeks from hospital for a short stay. I can't fault it, he loved it and didn't want to leave. Staff are lovely.
I have been pleased with the care my mum has received but it is difficult to fully comment and assess as she was admitted during the lockdown and I have had only 2 visits inside, however, the staff seem very caring and my mum says they are kind and the food is good.
