View Full Details of Milliner House Care HomeThe staff made a massive effort for Christmas and setting lunch tables with Christmas tablecloths and napkins. It looked lovely. It's a shame I cannot add a picture to show their efforts made. All staff are great at what they do. Well done Milliner House.
The management are all lovely, caring, professional. The home is looking beautiful for Christmas with all the decorations. The staff make you feel welcomed, caring and professional.
My brother has been in Milliner House since May 2024. We cannot fault the care he has been given. He was taken firstly to a different care home in March 2024 where we were not happy with his care. He wasn't given the opportunity to leave a physiotherapist to help with his mobility and wasn't encouraged enough to get out of bed to get exercised. As soon as he was moved to Milliner House he was given any support he needed and with the help of a physio has his mobility back and is able to go home. We are very grateful to the manager and her staff.
Safe environment for residents. Well looked after, less activities for non-cooperative residents. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Medication is given on time.
All the carers are very good at their work, I think the home is very nice and the best staff. I play games and help the staff, the home manager and the deputy manager are very good to me and the home smells very nice.
All the staff are warm and engaging, the atmosphere is vibrant. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Clear and concise documentation of care. Food and activities are of a high standard.
Carers are very professional and friendly, creating a family atmosphere. Always welcoming to friends and family.
After a previous respite experience that wasn't so good at a different home, we were a little nervous but Mum's experience here has been very good. The staff were friendly but professional, caring and considerate. Mum's mobility has improved due to their encouragement. She has enjoyed her stay and I would recommend to all.
Very happy with the care home. I believe Mum is having excellent care and is recovering very well in deed following a few days in hospital. I am confident Mum will continue to improve her physical and mental faculties.
I was struck by the lovely atmosphere when I was shown around and was so pleased my hubby was accepted there. The staff are all so caring, friendly and happy which filters down to the patients. My husband is very happy there.
The care provided for my mum has been nothing less than first class. From the management through to the team on the shop floor, every single one has treated my mum with kindness, patience and compassion. I have honestly developed a newfound respect for workers in the care industry since witnessing the care and dedication shown by all members of staff here.
Every time we visit my brother we always find clean and comfortable surroundings. All the staff, including the cleaners and kitchen staff, are always helpful and obliging. We are always offered refreshments and if near a mealtime we are offered a meal. I can't fault any of the staff, which at times must be very challenging. They are a credit to the home and you should be very proud of them all.
I am very happy with the care, kindness and respect that my mother receives. All the staff are caring and professional and the home has a calm and happy atmosphere.
Fantastic improvements in all areas. Can now chat. Mobility is loads better. Staff very caring.
Mum spent the last 4 months of her life at Milliner House. Despite the huge challenges, she gave them, the manager and her team showed nothing but kindness, respect and understanding to both Mum and me.
Very happy with care home. The staff are very friendly.
I think a care home is a personal choice, therefore recommendation is not always a good idea. I have found the staff very helpful and accomodating. Do feel that sometimes liaison between staff is not always happening: not having a choice of homes it is difficult to compare, but fr my mum's needs, they have been so good.
Informative and helpful. Mum kept lovely and clean as is her room.
Excellent information and discussion.
Dad is happy. Always well presented and smiling, says it all really! The staff are helpful, the building looks nice. The Garden and grounds are well kept. Plenty of stories about how much fun he is having singing and dancing, long may it continue. Due to COVID, I've not seen his room, but everywhere we have seen has been very clean and tidy.
