View Full Details of Forget me not Residential HomeMy mum is receiving a very thoughtful, kind and conscientious level of care at her Forget Me Not Home. She is active in the various activities taking place (I receive short messages via social media to show this). The staff are patient and informative (where I am concerned) and I could not be more satisfied with my mum's residency in the circumstances.
Forget me not is an excellent care home that actually feels like a home. From the moment my nan joined I am certain she has been happy, and well looked after, and all her needs met. All of the staff are friendly and supportive and always make sure my nan is smiling. They provide events for residents and families to attend which is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to make memories together. Overall I would highly recommend them!
This is a small, friendly home and Mum is settled here. The carers are helpful, and homecooked food is provided.
Short stay for respite only, therefore nursing care although available is not substantial. Training was necessary. The staff are very pleasant and do accommodate every situation as needed.
My dad has been a resident for two and a half years at Forget me not. It is a small home, and the care is of a very high standard. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and "go above and beyond" in the care of my dad. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Management is responsive and deals quickly with any issues. I feel that my dad is safe at Forget me not, and I can go home after visiting knowing he is well looked after. Dad frequently tells me how good the staff are.
Forget me not Home is a very warm and welcoming place. All the residents are followed with devotion and great care by the staff. It feels more like a big family. They offer various activities for the residents throughout the week. These activities are aimed at maintaining both good physical and emotional health. The residents all look peaceful and happy. Certainly a very special gem!

From everyone here at Forget Me Not Residential Home. We cannot thank the whole team enough. A very family atmosphere here.
A simply impeccable place, words actually fail me as to the love that surrounds this place! The care is unbelievable and they are like my dad's new family. I could not be happier and know my dad is safe. Thank you!
Watching a loved one needing more care than you can personally provide is a daunting and difficult task. However, from the moment I spoke to and visited Forget Me Not, I felt so reassured and had great peace of mind. I knew that my father would be extremely cared for in this homely and welcoming environment. A home from home feel with family at its heart.
This is the most amazing care home! My wife is being wonderfully cared for and although only two weeks in she has settled really well. Her care has been personalised and the staff are respectful of all her needs. The food is excellent and I can only praise the management and staff for their kind, loving attitude, compassionate care and the high standards they continue to maintain in these unprecedented times. My wife is safe, happy and well looked after and I could not ask for more.

All staff are so caring towards my Grandmother. They show concern and compassion at all times and go out of their way to ensure she is happy and comfortable. Management liaise with family regularly. Especially if they have concerns over her health. Receptive to suggestions from us all.

My aunt had led a full and active life, living on her own at 90-years of age was accepted into Forget me not care home needing care and support after having major surgery, also her mental state was affected due to constant infections. My wife and I were concerned on how she would cope with the integration into care home life. What started off as a temporary move has been three years of total happiness as she put it. “I am surrounded by love and happiness “. The management and staff teams have all been trained to an exceptional standard giving their love, support and care totally, always happy in their work ethic. For Forget me no, Covid has brought with it lots of problems to deal with, and they have dealt with it fantastically, with no residents or staff catching it so far - safety is paramount. Testing for Covid is constantly being updated, if visiting protocols change, access to my aunt via the communication platform Skype has been a tremendous worry free bonus.
I’m very happy with the care and compassion given and shown to my mum. Forget me not is a warm and friendly home, and the standard of care is excellent. I’m kept up to date with mum's well being, very prompt if things change. Lots of activities provided to stimulate and always lots of smiling faces. They have gone the extra mile during the pandemic and created a safe environment; I couldn’t ask for more.
A really hard decision for my fiercely independent father to move into residential care, yet with kindness, understanding and lots of jokes made the transition as easy as possible whilst giving him the space to adjust and retaining his dignity. Staff really mindful of the impact on the wider family and great in supporting some tough conversations such as the surrendering of car keys! Although dad was only there for about 4-months, we experienced a huge range of skills and care from simple residential needs through to full nursing with special care and arrangements put in place to help the family say goodbye in tough COVID restricted times, and ease dad's passing ensuring absolutely no pain and dignity to the end. Thank you - your kindness will not be forgotten.
