I have been in charge of the resident's financial affairs for five years - he has been at The Donnington for 14 months now, having struggled on his own, and he is honestly living his best life at The Donnington. He is very popular with the staff, happy, and enjoys the company and excellent care he receives.

I have known my friend for 23 years, in that time I looked after him as best I could. Since he has been in the home he seems a lot better in himself. He is eating well and enjoying the social side of the home. He looks well every time I come.

The carers are wonderful. They put Mum at ease as soon as she arrived. Her memory has improved since coming here and she loves the food.

In my experience this seems a very well-ran home. Many of the staff make time to talk to visitors and residents so they know them well and this helps with general morale. My friend is very well cared for in a friendly, cheerful and kind way.

I am very impressed by the care, friendliness and general day-to-day help by all the staff. Very importantly, the staff are always ready to chat and listen to any concerns. Mum is very happy here, she enjoys her food and always comments on how tasty the meals are. Mom is blind, so relies heavily on the staff for help, which they always provide in such a pleasant way.

My aunt is well cared for and eats well - she looks well, nurses are enthusiastic and encourage her to talk.

The care Mum has received throughout her 2-year stay here has been wonderful. The nursing staff and carers are people, patient, caring and respectful as well as showing friendly fun behaviour as well. The whole team including admin, housekeeping and maintenance are brilliant. The home provides a wealth of activities to suit residents' needs. I would highly recommend The Donnington.

The quality of food is very good, a wide variety with lots of imagination. The activities are very good and I enjoy taking part.

Care and carers are very good. My only complaint is the garden is in need of some care and attention. Also, the residents would benefit from having a permanent structure to shelter from the sun.

Each time we visit, we find the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The home is kept spotlessly clean and the food looks good. Entertainment looks very good for the residents.

My brother came over from abroad recently and he was very impressed with the care home. We had lunch with Mum on Mother's Day and we were put in the small lounge to have lunch and quality time with Mum. The staff went above and beyond to make it a very special day and the food was excellent. Mum has been in the care home since May 2022 and has gone from strength to strength. All of the staff are amazing with Mum and she is very happy.

All the staff at Donnington continue to provide a safe and caring environment for my mother, whose health, over the past few weeks has been poor. It is reassuring to know that she is in safe hands.

The home is lovely, staff so friendly, kind, and professional. Lots of really super activities, entertainment. As a family we are so impressed. Great fun, loads of laughter!

Every time I visit my friend she is happy and dressed well. Her appearance is clean and tidy. The staff are helpful and caring. There is always plenty of fluids on hand in her room as well as the tea trolley coming around several times a day. She is very happy and settled here.

Mum has been at Donnington for almost a year and has received fabulous care. The staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help with any concerns we may have. Mum seems happy and content, which makes the family satisfied with the decision to choose Donnington.

Staff, nurses and management very approachable and helpful. Mother is happy, enjoys the food and activities. I feel we have made the right choice placing my mother at Donnington as she is well-catered for and well-looked after.
