My wife has not settled in well but this is due to her condition! The staff have worked hard to welcome her and get her to join in with their residents. I am impressed that the home has provided a room to allow her to entertain friends. My family considered this to be over and above what we expected. Many thanks for this.

I have had great support and kindness from all the staff since I came here early August on a temporary basis. It helped me to gain confidence and I have had a happy stay. I would recommend Icknield Court for respite care, as my experience here has been so good.

Mum has settled really well, and is happy. The staff have been very kind and efficient, and have looked after any eventuality. Mum and her family are so grateful for the care and professionalism at Icknield Court.

Very pleased with the overall care and communication with everyone at the home. Mum is very settled but still confused which is normal. I believe that her eating habits have improved.

To know that my father is keen to return to his home after a lovely day out with me gives me reassurance of how safe, secure, and happily well-looked after, he is at Icknield Court. I have peace of mind knowing he is in the best place for him., I feel heard when talking to staff. His main carer has taken the time to get to know him and his little ways to ease his anxiety. We are comforted to know the hardest decision we as a family had to make moving dad here was not very hard. For that, we will be forever grateful.

My father enjoys the activities very much along with the food! He receives good care tailored to his specific needs. The regular family meetings are very useful and suggestions are actioned upon. The staff are very friendly, and professional. They show how well they know my father and how much they care. Thank you.

My husband spent 4 weeks here everyone was good. The only problem I had to ask after nearly 3 weeks was for him to have a shower and to empty his bin with stoma bags - very smelly.

I am very pleased that I chose Icknield Court for my parents' care. The care staff are kind and understanding of their care needs and are friendly and approachable. The rooms are clean and bright. There is a good choice of activities and visitors are made to feel very welcome. The atmosphere is homely and relaxed. I am happy to recommend Icknield Court.

I cannot fault the care and love shown to my mum's recent death. She loved the carers, I had no worries about her care, I was always kept up to date with any issues. She was so happy, always looked cared for, even to her nails and jewellery and regular baths which she loved. Thank you so much.

My mum has been a guest of Icknield Court Care Home since February 2023. At first, she was her grumpy self but in the last five months, never seen her happier, she is really settled which is great as she is a good mum. So thank you Icknield Court.

From the moment I first visited to explore Icknield Court Care Home as a suitable care home for my 94-year-old mother, throughout the time she was resident to the sad time when she passed away just four months later, the welcome and care all of us received was exemplary. As an ex-headmistress, my mother was a fiercely independent and intelligent lady who had exacting standards that her family and those around her could find tricky to meet! So once her frailty meant she was no longer able to safely live alone, we worried that she would find it difficult to settle into life in a care home. However, the caring, friendly, social, energetic atmosphere throughout the whole of Icknield Court meant that she immediately felt at home and threw herself into life there, particularly enjoying the wide-ranging activities. It was always about her as an individual and nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the staff who were always flexible to any request. And critically, always kind, caring and respectful.

My mother has been here now for two weeks and I have found the care home excellent. It is clean and well-maintained, food looks good and facilities are excellent. I find the staff very pleasant, helpful, polite and respectful. My sister and I feel that we could not have found a better home for our mother.

My father has just spent a week in respite care to allow me to go on holiday, and I must say his care was amazing. The facilities were great, and the home is clean and very well looked after. The staff are truly wonderful, each and every one of them; they do an amazing job and are so helpful in every way. Only one small thing some of the younger staff members struggled to get Dad's hearing in, and without them, he is deaf. He said the food was great, he enjoyed every meal, and the rooms were bright and clean, but I would suggest taking your own TV in if your loved one is in respite. He loved the activities, said one lady and the team were fantastic and made him feel very welcome and part of everything, so a huge thank you to her for doing such a great job. You even had him singing, which he has not done since my mum passed away. The manager was also very helpful, as I had never put Dad into respite before; he was very helpful with all my questions. I would recommend this home to anyone in the future.

A lovely afternoon spent celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee. All staff are very welcoming and attentive to the residents. Everyone seems happy and well cared for.

My mother has been in Icknield Court for about 7 months and in the time she has resided there I have seen tremendous improvements in her. This is due to her having people around her. The staff are great and are not afraid to ask my advice with regard to my mother's temperament. In turn, my mum gets on well with the staff and the other residents. I am so pleased she went to Icknield Court and this is a testament to all concerned who also go out of their way to welcome me as well. Thank you to everyone there. It is truly appreciated.
