View Full Details of Lent Rise HouseMy father experienced the very best of care filled with kindness, compassion and fun. We visited 3-4 times a week throughout my Dad's 7 weeks and felt instantly at home at Lent Rise. Dad's room was bright, overlooking the gardens, we added pictures and photos to the walls and a Christmas tree, it felt homely for Dad and for my Mum when she visited. During every visit there would be different activities, from singing to games, craft to movies. There were different communal spaces for residents to access with a range of activities and events across each area. Every member of staff was so kind to Dad, and also took great care of my Mum and other visitors. In Dad's final days Mum and I spent many hours by his bedside, and were cared for too. All the staff were angels, from care staff to admin, the management team to maintenance. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness.
As a family, we feel fortunate that my wife and children's mother has benefited from the care provided by The Fremantle Trust, initially at another home for 1 year and nearly 4 years at Lent Rise House. The care that she has received is second to none. We feel blessed that she is able to receive such care, which could not be bettered. In addition, such care and support extends to us personally and to visiting relatives. We could not ask for more.
My mother was always treated with the utmost care and dignity by everyone at Lent Rise House. Not the circumstances anyone wants to see their loved one in later in life, but the nursing home felt like a home rather than a care facility. Staff are caring, thoughtful and respectful. I will always treasure my memories of the Christmas party. Mum and I laughed and sang it was such a precious time. Thank you all.
Mum was in Lent Rise for nearly 2 years and as a family we could not fault it. The staff worked extremely hard at getting to know and understand her wants and needs, not always an easy task as Mum was one of a kind, and we feel that the wonderful team of staff were caring and compassionate enough to make Mum's last years, months and days as comfortable as possible. Mum sadly passed away December 2024 and we will miss not only her, but also the lovely staff who made us feel part of their caring community.
My sister was only in the home briefly, but we were impressed by the home, facilities and staff. Unfortunately, owing to her brief time and her condition, we were unable to discuss her own feelings with her, but we felt she was treated well and respected.
I want to say a massive thank you to the new manager and her wonderful team. I am so happy with the care of my mum. A situation arose recently and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently but most of all with care and understanding. I am so grateful knowing my mum is safe and being well looked after.
I have recently moved my mother to this home and my experience has been really good. The care team were very helpful and the move was simple. Her room has all that is needed and it's clean. Unlike the last home she was at they have got my mother who has dementia to take part in lots of activities which is refreshing to see. I would like to thank the home and all the team for the exceptional experience.
I have found all staff to be pleasant and caring, showing compassion for residents and dealing with those with dementia with respect and courtesy. Food is offered and encouraged appropriately and staff work with residents to feed them when they are most likely to eat.
Auntie moved into Lent Rise House in March 2023 following a fall at home where she broke her leg. It has taken a while to adjust but she is now happy at the home. The staff are very good, caring, kind and respectful. They take time to get to know people and keep me well informed.
Caring, attentive and kind staff. A homely approach. Good food.
Mum has been here for 8 years now. The staff are extremely kind, caring and professional. If we ever have any questions or concerns they are always addressed.
My mother has been a resident at Lent Rise for over three years and I cannot fault the care she has received from all staff over that time and how they have responded to her increasing needs. The range of activities offered to all residents, dependent on their needs and interests is exceptional. I am very fortunate to have found a Care Home where I have complete confidence that my mother is well cared for and her dignity respected.
My connection with Lent Rise House is as a close friend and Power of Attorney for a very dear Lady. My friend is very grateful for all the Care and Kindness she receives from all the staff. She thoroughly enjoyed the recent Coronation Celebrations which were very memorable. The entertainment, the delicious Tea and happy atmosphere were enjoyed by everyone. I would recommend Lent Rise to all my friends.
On the husband's request, myself and the husband visited his wife on a regular basis. The care home staff from the management team to the carers were always very welcoming and friendly. They always had a smile on their faces. Our lady was always well dressed and looking her best. She had gained weight so she was very well looked after very impressed with this care home.
Lent Rise House will always be very special to our family, I don't think you guys really know how special you are to us, but you are. I actually miss going there. Thanks be to God that there are people like you in this world, feeling blessed is not a strong enough word. Thanks to all the staff past and present.
My experience with Lent Rise House Care Home has been a care home that could do no more for my aunt who is 96. She is still enjoying life thanks to the team at the home where she has been since it opened. The staff always have time to speak to the relatives and keep me informed if anything is needed for my aunt, for example arranging the delivery for her TV remote that she had lost.
Lovely members of staff taking care of my grandparents. Both seem in good health (as well as can be!) all staff I’ve interacted with are friendly kind and efficient. Grandparents seem happy with their care and happy to stay.
Very clean and comfortable home. My parents are very well looked after and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Fabulous place, well kept, clean and professional. Great staff who go above and beyond. The caretaker of my aunt is fabulous. I visited her in October and was able to visit her several times during my brief stay. She was very well dressed and cared for. I call my elderly aunt from the US every month and I sing to her as she has no words, and as she has no relatives in the UK. This staff member arranges my call with her so that I can see her and stay in touch. She emails me to confirm the apt. Who does that nowadays? She is loyal and kind to my aunt and helps me to stay connected. How can I submit a review without mentioning her name? I am eternally grateful to her for arranging these Skype calls and for giving me peace of mind about my most favourite living relative.
Really pleased with the care, mum always seems well looked after and received lots of love and attention. Good ratio of staff, good facilities. Really made a difference during Covid. Responsive to requests
