View Full Details of Lime Tree CourtMy mother came to Lime Tree Court just over three years ago. During this time the staff has supported, cared for, looked after and loved my mother just like family. The staff are amazing, food all home made with amazing cakes on birthdays, plenty of laughter and fun. Every one is different and this was always taken into consideration were all things are conserned. My mother has recently passed. The love and care given to both my mum and the family during this period has been truly amazing. A wonderful place to be in, a small warm home and lovely garden.
Lime tree court cared for my father for seven years until this year, when he passed away. The staff made his time there very comfortable and adapted his care and needs to meet his decline from Alzheimer's. The home is extremely friendly, and my father was part of the family there, included in everything. The home made a real effort to keep the residents engaged with, and supported by, the local community. The resident's well-being is a high priority, and I saw many instances of personal connections and personalised care between the residents and staff. They made sure the residents were happy and entertained, even during the challenges of Covid. They always made family welcome when we were able to visit, and my father thrived in the home despite the challenges of Alzheimer's. The home is well-run, clean and efficient but with a homely feel. The staff are very friendly. The food is hand cooked and seemed and looked very tasty!
Having heard some amazing reviews about Lime Tree Court, I was very keen for my mother to go there. When she needed full-time care, we were absolutely over the moon that a room became available just in time! Mum spent seven months at the home, and although she hadn't wanted to go into a home, she was delighted that I had made the right choice for her. Many a time she said how the home was like her own cottage with a garden and was delighted to sit in. With the home being smaller than most, it suited her perfectly, and she talked about the staff as being wonderful and so caring. She was delighted to be taken for little trips around the village and visits from various people. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lime Tree to anyone looking at a care home.
My mother who has Alzheimer's has been at Lime Tree Court since May 2021. I moved here to be closer to where I live and it was truly the best thing for her. She settled very quickly, the home has a wonderful, welcoming and homely atmosphere. I have always been impressed by the professionalism of each and every member of the staff and their communication skills. The manager goes above and beyond with empathic care, she is very hands-on and extremely proactive. During the lockdown and any Covid situations, family members were regularly updated by messages, zoom calls and emails, you could not ask for more. The staff turn is very low and they mostly live in the village and local area. My mother says it feels like home, she is always well-presented and appears contented and above all for us, we know she is safe. Compared to her previous care home, the communication and care has been absolutely outstanding and would highly recommend Lime Tree Court.
My mother has been a resident at Lime Tree Court since December 2019. We as a family have found Lime Tree Court to be welcoming, friendly and peaceful and intimate. The caring team are mostly from the local villages. These team members rarely change so their faces are consistent. We feel that this is one of the most important aspects of helping my mother to feel at home at Lime Tree Court. We are constantly updated on all aspects of her care. We feel that mother is safe at Lime Tree House.
For the last three years of her life, Lime Tree Court was my mum's home. It truly is a home from home and I couldn’t have been happier with the love and care mum received over this time. Even through the difficult times of Covid I was kept well informed with zoom calls and videos letting me know how mum was getting on. The management team and staff truly had all the resident's well-being as their key priority and did all they could to keep everyone safe. Being a lovely old building with beams Lime Tree has a very homely feel about it, it also serves up great home-cooked food every day. Having to find a care home for a loved one can be quite a stressful time, I will always be very grateful to all the staff at Lime Tree Court.
My mother was at Lime Tree Court for four years and during that time, which included the Covid 19 pandemic, she received the utmost care, attention and love from all the staff and I know that she could not have been received better care elsewhere. My sister and I were kept fully informed of mum's health, especially in the last days of her life and we were both allowed to visit her in her final hours which was a great comfort and allowed us to say goodbye. We would like to thank everyone at Lime Tree Court for their devotion to the residents, especially during the difficult and challenging Covid period.
Unfortunately, my mother passed away on 29th December 2021. We were as a family extremely lucky to have mother in the care of Limetree Court. The welfare of my mother was second to none. But I was particularly blown away by the end-of-life care she received. The Manager and her staff couldn’t have been more caring and loving to my mother. We as a family had the opportunity to say goodbye in a wonderful, warm, peaceful, and loving environment and I will be forever in their debt.
Everything about Lime Tree Court is perfect. Mum could not be in a better place. It's better than being at home! Excellent family care staff bend over backwards to make Mum's life as comfortable as is possible. I want a bed here too!
Ou dad has been a resident in Lime Tree Court for nearly six years. He receives such wonderful care and he is respected and a much-loved member of the Lime Tree Court family. Thank you from his son and wife, we are so lucky.
My wife has been at Lime Tree Court for 2-years. She is bedridden and has received excellent care. The staff are 1st class and management have been very helpful, even in COVID19 times. My wife is very peaceful. I could not ask for any more.
Lime Tree Court is an amazing home. All the members of staff are kind and thoughtful. They care for each and every one of their residents with love and passion. They also care about the residents' families, keeping us in touch with updates and video messages. Our dear dad is very very happy living at Lime Tree. When we phone him, he tells us how he loves going out in the garden, how nice the food is, and how lovely his carers are. We feel that Dad is safe and loved. Lime Tree Court really is Dad's home from home.
My 94-year-old Dad has been at Lime Tree Court since Christmas 2019 after many years of caring for my mum who died in October 2019, so he was in a very confused and in a fragile state. Lime Tree has given him a well deserved new last stage of his life. I am truly amazed at how lovingly he is being cared for and could not wish for him to be in any other place. All the staff are totally dedicated to the requirement of all residents during this very difficult time providing them with stimulus, on a daily basis.
My grandmother stayed at Lime Tree Court for a number of years. It is a fantastic place, with amazing staff who would always go above and beyond to not only look after their residents but to make all visitors welcome when they come in. I was always blown away with how friendly, smiley, and calm all the staff was with the residents. My grandmother was clearly extremely happy there. The location and facilities are great and are always offering a variety of activities. I would have no issues in recommending to anybody, who wants fantastic care, to go to Lime Tree Court.
Lime Tree Court is a fantastic care home. They looked after my grandma for eight years. The staff are incredibly positive, selfless, and friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they would often go out of their way to help and support. They even offered to drive grandma on a 150 miles round trip so that she could be at my wedding ceremony. I cannot speak more highly of their professionalism and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone.
I cannot recommend Lime Tree Court highly enough. Mum was a day resident for a couple of years before finally moving in from July 2012. The staff have always been extremely welcoming, helpful and sensitive to both Mum and ourselves. We have never had any concerns for my mother's welfare, knowing that all staff have given her loving and caring support throughout. Mum was clearly happy in her home and was always smiling and laughing. The primary concern of all staff at all times is what is best for the residents. They always went above and beyond to ensure that whatever Mum wanted, she had. Communication from the care home to us as a family has always been good sending us photos and videos. During the difficult times with COVID they were particularly caring in their communications when we obviously were unable to go and visit. This care home is like a large family home. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for everything you do.
I have visited Lime Tree Court on various occasions and found quality care in this comfortable family-run care home. The team are well trained and the standards are high. They are hard-working and committed to the resident's needs. It is always a pleasure to visit and the atmosphere is excellent. I would recommend this home highly because of the home's warm, professional and friendly environment.
It's a great pleasure to be able to describe being here. The kindness, caring and your fears of loneliness are gone. You are surrounded by beautiful gardens, the peace and loveliness are unbelievable. This wonderful place is something you could only dream of.
I live next door to the home and I can hear how the nurses treat the patients when they are outside - they are always very gentle and caring (they can't see me because of a high wall). I also go singing in the home regularly and to monthly coffee mornings - the inside is welcoming and very pleasant and the attitude of the nurses is wonderful.
When my mother needed care, we were recommended to use Lime Tree Court but unfortunately, they were full. We found another home nearby but my mother never settled and she seemed constantly stressed and unhappy. After over a year we tried LTC again. They had a vacancy. We did not make the change lightly but we felt we had little to lose. Mum seemed to change instantly and became calmer and happier. The first thing that I noticed was that whenever I phoned to see how she was settling in, whoever answered always knew what was going on and could answer my questions. This was a complete change from the previous home. My mother and all the residents were always treated with kindness, respect and humour. When my mother became ill and was hospitalised she was able to return to LTC for palliative care. We could not praise the staff highly enough for the care she was given. It gave us peace of mind to know that she passed away in such a lovely atmosphere with people she knew and knew her.
