View Full Details of 9 Twyford LaneMy son has been in 9 Twyford Lane for a number of years. He is very happy there, it's like being in a family for him. All the staff are caring and look after his needs very well which can be challenging from time to time. I cannot thank them enough for everything they do! Gives us great peace of mind to know he is properly cared for. Very grateful to you all. Thank you very much
My relative has been resident at this establishment for many years and we have always been impressed with the service they provide. The staff have made enormous efforts to keep the clients occupied, entertained and happy during their confinement within the establishment during the Covid lockdown, while going to great lengths to keep themselves Covid-free for the clients' protection.
The staff are genuine. They are very loyal to the service users. They are a big family. Very low turnover. It is an extremely difficult job. They are all very positive. My friend has been a resident for over 20 years. The service has developed over this time. They bend over backwards to keep him engaged and safe.
Following the death of our Mother, who had been a primary carer, my Brother has now been resident at this facility for a number of years. He has always been treated with respect and supported to lose (a lot of) weight and to stay motivated about this through regular "healthy lifestyles" work. The staff team routinely go the "extra mile" to make sure that my brother is able to follow his own choices as far as is possible. The staff team seem well supported by management to support a wide range of people who can have complex and challenging needs due to their brain injuries. This is certainly true of their support to my brother who has an acquired Brain Injury, and the staff team work closely with us as a wider family to ensure that his needs continue to be met both at the care home and in the community. The team also have access to professional psychological and OT support, which has also proved invaluable in supporting my brother with his ongoing mobility and loss issues.
Staff are very polite, hard-working and conscientious. They always have time to sort out any issues there may be. There are no onsite amenities and there is a general lack of activities in the local area i.e. no coffee shop or meeting places.
