View Full Details of Bings HallMum went to Bings Hall in June as her dementia was deteriorating and she was unable to stay in her own home safely. We had excellent carers and our family was actively involved and on standby 24 hours a day. Mum never wanted to go into a home. However, she was confused in her own home as she didn't know where home was. The Bings Hall team (staff and management) are very caring and helped her get used to her new environment. We were advised to let them help Mum adjust and stay away for a short while. This was traumatic for all of us, including Mum. However, the team have worked wonders with Mum and whilst she doesn't necessarily know where she is, she is safe, settled, well cared for, enjoys her food and has made new friends that all support her. We are able to visit when we want and we are now able to take her our for a walk or a ride. She is comfortable going back to the home as she recognised it. She enjoys the food, the safety, the activities, the staff and the company of her fellow residents. She is looking well and is thriving now. Well done and thank you to the Bings Hall team, staff and management! P.S. As an aside, my frustrations are washing and bedding arrangments despite name tapes on most things. Hairdressing availability is limited.
Fantastic care has always been given to my grandmother. She always seems happy to be there. She is treated so well by the staff, she is always happy to see them, usually more than when family come to see her.
Both my parents were residents at Bings Hall until recently, my father died. The staff rang us immediately and were wonderful to my mum and to the rest of the family. W have found the staff extremely caring and competent at their jobs. The food looks good and the cook will always do her best to cater for their likes and dislikes. Mum always looks clean. Her medical needs are noted. Medications are given as required. We are very happy with Bings Hall. A gem of a care home.
I feel that the care my mother experienced at Bings Hall was exceptional. The staff were so caring not only to my mother but to the extended family too. We were as important as the residents. The care was second to none.
My husband is well cared for with dignity and love. There is a happy, homely atmosphere when I visit, and staff are constantly aware of all that is happening. They have gone to great lengths to allow safe visits during the lockdown, which is most appreciated. Their patience is amazing. Staff are also attentive to my request and/or suggestions. The light, airy conservatory and garden are a great asset to comfort and happiness.
Lovely individualised care. Every effort is made to make residents and their relatives feel at home. The little touches really do make a big difference, including a homemade birthday cake. Thank you for all that you do.
My sister and I are happy with Bings Residential Care home, staff and management. All the meals are freshly made each day and of a high standard, when required the staff will assist our mum with her food. We believe that Mum receives the personal touch from all staff.
My mum has been living at Bings Hall for nearly 2 years. The care has been exceptional and she is physically thriving. She suffers with dementia and has been slowly declining but the home offers stimulation and deals with any behaviour she may exhibit with compassion. Throughout the pandemic the staff have been thorough in keeping all the residents safe whilst still allowing family to have contact. I highly recommend Bings Hall.
Care at Bings Hall is excellent. Staff are caring and considerate to residents and always friendly and welcoming to visitors.
My mum has been a resident since July 2020. She came straight from the hospital on the recommendation of the discharge team. She has taken some time adjusting, but the staff have supported her with attentive kindness. I now have the peace of mind that she is safe day and night. The care at Bings Hall is outstanding. I am impressed that there are no agency staff and she has been able to get to know all staff well.
My nan has been at Bings Hall for a few months now. Since being at Bings Hall she is so much more happier. We can not fault the staff, nothing is to much for them. Bings Hall is kept clean and tidy and there are lots of activities going on for residents.
We are very happy with the care that Bings Hall provides to our Mother. Mum has just had her 90th Birthday celebration at Bings. They provided a wonderful buffet and entertainment for Mum, her friends, and family. This is a very nice home and we are very happy for our Mum to be here.
Every aspect of the care for my granny is excellent. The premises are very well kept but the most important element is the care by the staff. They always go well beyond what is expected, going the extra mile for all the folk concerned at every opportunity. I have no hesitation in recommending Bings Hall to anyone.
The friends have only been in the home for two months and I visit once a week. The home is clean, the staff friendly and I am always asked if I would like a drink. My friends seem very satisfied with their treatment although they would like to be in their own home which is understandable. I cannot say anything about the management, safety or activities or value for money as I don't know the fees.
Staff and atmosphere very caring and pleasant.
Bings Hall is a small but well-appointed care home with refurbished facilities and a good staffing/care level. Food and comfort are good and the staff are friendly and caring, meeting the needs of the residents. I would have no reason not to recommend Bings Hall.
I am very pleased with the standard of care provided for my father at Bings Hall. The staff are extremely friendly, professional and happy to answer any questions raised and offer information on my father's general well-being. Activities are well planned and special efforts are made to celebrate birthdays whilst ensuring families feel welcome to call at any time.
After Mum, also a resident of Bings Hall, passed away last March, the staff looked after Dad faultlessly. When he became ill over the summer they were wonderful, caring for his every need and during his last days, made sure that he was never alone. I cannot fault the care, attention and devotion of the staff. We know Dad had the best possible care in the last days of his life. Thank-you!
My Great uncle was admitted to this care home for respite care, and he requested it become a more permanent stay. He was very happy here and his physical appearance greatly improved since arriving. He settled in well and showed an interest in activities laid on by the home; a great improvement on the isolated life that he led at home. Sadly he only got to enjoy Bings Hall for eight months, but we were very glad that he was so well looked after.
My mother moved to Bings Hall in the latter part of last year. My family have been very pleased with the care she is receiving. Her newly decorated upstairs room is beautiful and she enjoys the space and the lovely view from the garden. The staff are excellent and very welcoming to visitors. There is always a cup of tea and home made cakes on offer! It is a great relief to me to know that my mother, who is in her nineties, is being very well looked after.
