The home is clean and welcoming. I found the staff to be kind and helpful. They work hard to care for mother who has dementia. Every effort is made to keep the residents stimulated with projects and entertainment. I and my wife are very pleased with home.

I have found the atmosphere light + airy and welcoming, the staff are friendly and keen to assist. My mother’s physical and emotional State has improved greatly even though her dementia continues to deteriorate. She loves the music afternoons and she is keen to join in the singing. I am very pleased with the way the home is caring for her and would recommend this home to my friends who may need a place for any of their relatives.

I have found Millard House to be welcoming and reassuring for both residents, and family. I have been comforted, by the kindness and concern of the staff that I have met. The home itself is light, airy, and clean. There is a chance most days to join in activities, the musical events always well received. The food too is good, with regular drinks and snacks between meals.

Wonderful carers who treat my mum with so much care and dignity. Always open to listen to any concerns I may have and do their best to support me. One member of staff in particular has been a wonderful addition with so many more themed days and activities. Thank you.

My mum entered Millard House after a spell of respite care revealed that her needs required a move to residential care. On arrival, the staff were very attentive and her admittance was very smooth. Because of Mum's dementia diagnosis, she struggled in the first week but the staff assisted her every step of the way, ensured her medication was administered and generally made her feel safe and cared for. We feel we have found a suitable care home to accommodate Mum's needs. The home is welcoming and clean, well staffed and comfortable.

My mum has recently moved to Millard House after a lengthy stay in hospital and elsewhere. After a difficult start, she has started to settle in and that is due to the care and understanding of all the staff there. They have taken the time to get to know my mum and have supported me and my family at a difficult time. Millard House is very welcoming and spotlessly clean. There are lots of activities for the residents and family and friends are always included. This is a lovely home and I'm sure my mum will thrive here. Thank you.

Dad has been well looked after. He has been awake and alert throughout the day which is an improvement from when he is at home. He did not want to leave his room but staff regularly checked in on him and made sure he was okay. We would look to use again if needed.

Amazing staff - always helpful, happy and caring. Cleaning staff do a superb job. Admin always helpful and pleasant. The home assures me peace of mind that my aunt is cared for and safe.

All the staff and management are lovely, friendly, caring and professional. My only worry is that there are not enough staff for the number of residents, the staff always seem under pressure.

We are very happy with all the staff who take every care of Mum's needs and welfare. There is an excellent atmosphere, which is reflected in both the staff and residents. It is always clean and well-kept. Mum is very happy to be here.

Mum has been a resident now for over a year and is looked after and cared for and always enjoyed her time at Millard House. All staff are excellent and always there for her. Millard's is clean and is always engaged with all residents. We, as a family, are so happy that Mum is safe and happy at Millard's.

There are no words to describe the care of this wonderful care home. After several weeks in hospital my mum of 94 was taken back to the only home she knows now. The aftercare on her return as always has been excellent. The support, care and love are just amazing from the manager to every member of staff who works there.

Mom was put into respite care while I was on holiday. The staff have taken care of her exceptionally well. She never has a problem in coming here. If I need a place for her to stay, I will not hesitate to request a place at Millard House. Thank you all.

Millard House is a very warm and welcoming residence. Residents are treated with care and dignity. Less able residents are assisted by members of the care team in a supportive and caring way. Management and team are professional and work well together. Food and drink are of a very acceptable quality. The atmosphere is one of peace and calm. Activities are catered to all needs and occur on a daily basis. A very nice care home.

My mother-in-law has been in Millard House for just over 2 years. The staff are always lovely with her, they are caring, compassionate, and super friendly. Nothing is too much trouble at all. It doesn't matter what time of day we turn up; she always looks clean and well dressed and her lovely room is always immaculate! They provide good entertainment and activities throughout the week, which she enjoys, especially the singers! Millard House has a homely feel that's always very clean and nicely furnished. We always have a warm welcome on arrival and always leave in the knowledge that she is content and well cared for. Thank you, Millard House.

Our brother has been a resident for about two months, and we cannot fault the care he has received and the dedication and kindness of all the staff. Cleanliness is second to none - everywhere is immaculate. Management and staff always keep us informed of any issues or requirements.

Overall experience - good. Only real complaint - is not being allowed to go outside without supervision.
