View Full Details of Silverpoint Court Residential Care CentreThank you to everyone who looked after my husband. I was very happy for him to stay at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Centre. When we walked in, we were made very welcome. All the staff were happy to see us. His room was lovely, with the view, and comfortable. The food was excellent. He felt at home and was happy to be left there for a week. The manager was very supportive of both of us. We would come to Silverpoint again - excellent.
Mum's been in your care for 6 months now and as a family, we were very much supported with moving in and the changes that were happening with Mum. Mum has a lovely room overlooking the garden, with a very comfortable position changing bed and TV. The staff have been fabulous with Mum, so patient and caring. They have even managed to get Mum in the shower, where we have failed in the past! Lovely food and plenty of it. Thank you, I know Mum is in good hands.
My father went to Silverpoint in March 2022 after losing his wife. His dementia meant he was confused for a long time but settled well into routine. The staff have always created him with dignity and kindness. There is a homely feel where all staff are involved with the resident's care. Sadly due to location and work commitments, we have had to move him closer to where we live. He was happy at Silverpoint and well looked after during his time there.
My Dad is a resident of Silverpoint and the team looks after him, special mention to one who always goes above and beyond when he is in need of medical attention. The support team are always polite and friendly and have a great relationship with my Dad. They make him feel safe.
I cannot recommend Silverpoint Court enough, from the management to the chef to carers and care helpers, all are very happy and pleasant and understanding of people's needs. The food is excellent with many choices. The whole care home is spotlessly clean and well-kept. Everyone is very accommodating and pleasant.
My mum has been in the home since January 2022. The care is good. Feel she is being looked after ok. Sometimes there are issues which when taken up are dealt with. Certainly feel the manager runs a tight ship and always know when she is not around! The staff under her in the home help to make it the nice, friendly home it is. Thank you.
Our auntie has been treated with dignity since she has been here. During her stay the staff have managed to clear a leg ulcer that she previously had for over six years. She has also been encouraged to do tasks like personal hygiene and dressing herself. The activities that are organised are very thoughtful and help and encourage the residents. I am full of admiration for the staff that are marvellous.
Went to visit Silverpoint, was very pleased with initial visit, the staff are very good with my mum, the food is very good, definitely would not go hungry. The daily activities are excellent e.g. decorating walking frames, making cakes, keep fit, singing and dancing. I am very pleased with my mum's care, couldn't ask for any better.
My Father is on his third week in Silverpoint, he has been treated very well and nothing is too much trouble. We are really pleased to have found him such a lovely home.
My mum has been a resident at Silverpoint Court for some time now and is very happy here indeed. All of the staff are lovely, friendly and approachable. She has made new friends among the residents, and the activity package keeps her entertained and busy every day. For someone who was very sociable before entering the care home, the variety of activities and the fact that there is something every day is perfect for my mum. Residents and relatives are encouraged to provide feedback at the relative meetings, including suggesting menu items for lunches and dinners. The environment is lovely, the food is lovely, and the staff are lovely. There is nothing better than hearing your relative say, "I like it here".
I am really pleased with how my mum has settled in - mad most welcome. She had come from another home, which we were not happy with. Her mood is lovely; I go in to see her, to chat and have a laugh (not cry, that was both of us). She goes to the day room to join in, and the staff are really good with her. I am so pleased we moved; I can stop worrying!
This last month has been very difficult due to the deteriorating health of my mum. The staff of Silverpoint Court have been their usual cheerful selves and very supportive. They have looked after us as is their norm, and it is a privilege to have such caring staff in the home. I have no hesitation to recommend them and this facility to anyone in need of excellent 24-hour care.
We have always been delighted with the love and care with which Mum has been treated in her time at Silverpoint. Sadly Mum passed away recently, and we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff for all the attention and sympathetic way that Mum and the family were treated in her final days. A huge thank you to everyone at Silverpoint for all that they have done.
Wow, what can I say about this care home! My mother-in-law loved it. The carers and staff were really happy to look after my mum-in-law right up to when she went down due to bad health, especially when sadly she passed aways, and she was right to the end treated with dignity.
Excellent care and attention to all my needs. Lovely and clean. Meals are excellent; if not to my liking, then I can have something different. Nothing is too much for the members of staff; they are friendly and caring.
Excellent care, especially when my father was taken into hospital; they wasted no time in calling an ambulance and welcomed him back when he got back. Kept family informed of what was going on. When you visit, you feel most welcome. Mt father is a lot more happier here, mixing with others, than being on his own. It has improved his mental health a great deal.
Our mum has been very happy all the time she has been here. She has loved interacting with everyone and loves all the staff.
First initial welcome to Silverpoint was incredible; the staff were very welcoming, supportive, friendly and kind. My mother was overwhelmed. This was my mother's first ever stay in a residential home; she had a wonderful week and now wants to attend on a one-day weekly basis. Thank you to all at Silverpoint.
My dad has been here since March 2022 after the sad death of my mum from Alzheimer’s in February 2022. Quick and complicated, my dad was sent there from Southend Hospital; he has Dementia and is 87. It was quite a traumatic time, and I only wish we had found Silver Point sooner for my mum. We have had our ups and downs, but I have to say this home is a really nice home. My dad moved to Canvey 80 years ago with his parents, lived through the “floods”, and lived overlooking the Creek and Hadleigh Downs all his life. We have now secured him a bedroom with this very view and yachts too! Thank you! We have had many visits, the staff have always been really good, open and friendly. We had a visit on 5th August with my daughter from Australia too and all the great-grandchildren. Many thanks to one lady; she was fantastic, and my dad was so happy. Appreciate everything the staff did for us. I can only speak from our own experiences, but I think Silver Point is a lovely home.
My mum has recently spent a respite stay of 16 days at Silver Point whilst my dad had a major operation. I cannot praise all the staff enough for the excellent care given to my mum during her stay. Mum now attends one day a week for daycare, which she enjoys.
