View Full Details of Stafford Hall Residential Care HomeI cannot praise the staff at Stafford enough, they are always available to update me on dad's wellbeing. The staff are so kind to dad and us while we navigate this difficult journey.
My mother-in-law entered the home after a few weeks of being bed bound at home. Within hours she has been showered, dressed and was in a chair. The staff are excellent, caring and treat my mother with dignity and respect. Management are mindful of all her needs and do everything they can to encourage her well being and improve her physical condition. I would not hesitate to recommend Stafford Hall Residential Care Home.
My nan went in before Christmas. She's improved so much. The care is amazing and there is an activity of some sort every day. The staff are very friendly and approachable, nothing ever seems too much for them. The home is spotless and the residents are all kept clean and dressed every day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stafford Hall.
Have been apprehensive about placing my Mum in a home, we had looked at Stafford Hall months prior to Mum's admission and decided that it was our first choice. Mum's hygiene etc had deteriorated so much. I can't tell you how pleased the family are with the care and support the staff are giving Mum. She looks so clean and healthy, she is always happy and has settled in so well. Thank you to all of you. You have changed our lives as well as Mum's.
My grandad came to Stafford Hall after being in hospital, unfortunately he was only there for a few days before he sadly passed away. During his stay, the staff were great looking after Grandad and supportive to us as a family. We will be forever grateful for making Grandad's last few days comfortable and maintaining his dignity.
My husband has been in Stafford Hall for over two years. He was bedridden after the first three months. I cannot praise the this home enough! He was treated so well and the staff were all so kind. His room was always clean and his bed and clothes always fresh. The staff were always popping in and he had plenty of drinks. He was included in as many activities as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home. All the residents are happy there.
The manager and staff were fantastic for the care they gave my dad, unfortunately only for a short time in his final days and the support they all gave us as a family. Can't thank you all enough.
Cannot fault the exceptional care my Father received at this home over the two years he was a resident. The home was always spotlessly clean and the staff were always welcoming and friendly.
I am so proud of the management and staff who cared for my dad, he was there only for a few days but they was amazing, always checking on Dad and family as well, or just a chat or a cuddle at this very sad time. It was an excellent service. Thank you.
Mum has only been in for three days. When she came in, she had been immobile in a hospital bed at home for ten weeks. She was in night clothes and was being strip-washed with carers four times per day. The day following her admission to Stafford Hall, she had been hoisted into a chair, she had been showered and hair washed and was fully dressed. I could not believe the home had achieved more in 12 hours than what had happened in the last ten weeks.
Mum was up and sitting in the lounge, no mean feat given she had been bedridden for nearly a year in another care home, this care home really made an effort. The Halloween fun was great, pretty much everyone had a smile on their faces, especially when the trick-or-treat sweets came around!
Very impressed with and grateful to the manager, another particular member of staff and the team at Stafford Hall who kindly accepted our dear nan at short notice to enable a safe discharge from hospital out of area. Staff were kind and accommodating and allowed our dear nan a place to settle for her remaining time with us, allowing us important quality time together. We will always be grateful to the staff team and their kindness.
I have observed the interaction between staff and residents and found it to be excellent. Residents are treated as people and with care and respect. I have never heard a raised voice from the staff. My mum transferred directly from the hospital and the home manager and her staff made the whole process very easy. They all knew what to do and have been very helpful and professional in their card for my mum and in dealing with myself and the rest of the family.
Stafford Hall is a very welcoming friendly place. The staff are very caring and approachable. Nothing is too much for them to do. The manager and her team work well together and are obviously dedicated to giving the best care to their residents.
My stepmum hasn't been in Stafford Hall for long, however, she feels very at home there already, has made a few friends and cannot wait to go out on the weekly day trips! The staff are so welcoming, and friendly and they care for their residents. There is good communication from the home regarding my step mum's care and I'm positive she is going to be very happy there.
My mother-in-law has been at Stafford Hall for a couple of years now. Overall, she is relatively settled and everyone is very caring and nurturing. We like that the home is small and more family like. There has been a period of many different managers, which hasn't been great for continuity of care and unsettling for residents and relatives. We were glad to see the manager back and hope that he is there on a permanent basis, he has a good relationship with both residents and relatives.
Stafford Hall is a small, friendly and cosy care home and all the staff are welcoming, supportive and caring. It has a family feel. I was very apprehensive about Mum going into residential care three and a half months ago but she has received excellent care from the team. I look forward to this continuing.
New manager is excellent and has a lovely way of treating residents with kindness and understanding. Majority of staff are helpful and friendly and they also treat residents with respect. I think residents would benefit from more entertainment i.e.: singing or an entertainer to remind them of past times.
My aunt was becoming aggressive and not wanting to eat or drink whilst living in her own home. I felt very upset and unsure of how my aunt would cope in a care home. She has now been here a year and she is back to her old self (obviously she still has dementia) but she is no longer angry or lonely, she eats and is now able to drink from a cup again (without throwing the contents over her carer). She loves to people watch and they have so many activities for the residents, I know she loves to watch them. I am so happy that the staff all show her respect and treat her as an individual and not as a number! Anyone else that is going through that awful dilemma of “is it the right time for a care home?”, please consider this place as I am sure your loved one would be as happy and contented as my aunt.
I am happy that he has the best possible care for his condition and that he is treated with kindness and respect, as am I when I visit.
