View Full Details of Tye Green LodgeMy mother spent two happy years in Tye Green Lodge. The care was wonderful. Activities were provided, although as my mum became more frail, she could no longer take part. She loved the visits from animals. She loved her clean spacious room. Staff treated her as an individual at all times. I always felt welcome when I visited. The beautiful flower-filled garden, gave my mum much pleasure. Thank you!
I was very pleased with my 2-week respite stay at Tye Green Lodge. I went into Tye Green Lodge after a 2-week stay in the hospital. This was my third stay in the hospital in the last month after many falls. When I arrived I was only able to use a walking frame but with the encouragement from the staff I was able to work out using 1 or 2 sticks. I would recommend Tye Green Lodge to anyone in need of a stay.
My sister has settled in very well and is happy. I see her every week, she is always well-groomed and cared for.
My mother was a resident at Tye Green Lodge for almost 2 years. We found the staff approachable, kind and patient. The home was always very clean and well presented and the garden was lovely. There is a nice atmosphere there and my mother was well cared for.
My mother received excellent expert care and attention at all times during her nearly six-year time at Tye Greem Lodge. She sadly died at 101 years old.
My mum has lived here for 3 years now and we have been so pleased with every aspect of the home all the staff are amazing. They listen and take time to talk to us. I can say I have nothing to say except praise for all they do for my mum. The cleanliness of the whole place is so exceptional. The food is lovely and such a choice. They take the residents out on trips and have plenty of entertainment. I will give them 100%.
The staff are all brilliant, they work really hard and are so caring. The recent refurbishment at Tye Green is appreciated as all the areas look lovely and bright. The activities team keep the residents entertained and the coffee mornings are fun for families to attend. The carers are amazing and look after the residents with love and respect.
The home at Tye Green Lodge is a wonderful place. A true home; friendly, welcoming and clean. The staff no matter who are very professional and seem like one happy family. There is always plenty of activities and something for the residents to look forward to, family is always welcome. Food looks amazing. Coffee mornings, quiz nights, so much going on. They have a lovely garden, well-maintained. A perfect choice, a really happy, uplifting home.
Care is very good. My wife is very happy here. Thank you very much.
Overall a very good care home. Staff and atmosphere friendly and welcoming. A great appearance and lovely garden. A few tweaks, perhaps more vegetables and a greater quantity and variety for the light meal. Bran bread to be available. Upstairs rooms become very hot in the summer months - air con. Perhaps more time could be spent talking to the residents who are usually in their rooms. Perhaps a little more understanding of some conditions. However, staff, everyone do a fantastic job with a limitation on staff numbers. All work very hard. The training seems good and marvellous that all residents intermit. More activities for men e.g darts.
Always impressed that the staff know family members by name. Always welcoming. One observation, white laundry always becomes a grey colour quite quickly.
Our mum has been a resident for five years. We have consistently found the staff to be very kind and caring, giving a positive feeling to everyday care. The activities are done in a fun atmosphere which lifts the vibe for everyone. We have just attended an excellent coffee morning raising funds for dementia. The finished redecorating of the home makes the home feel bright, modern, clean and fresh. We are very happy with the home.
Mother came to Tye Green Lodge on the basis of recommendations so we were pleased when a place was available for her at the time it became necessary. The staff have been consistently thoughtful and considerate towards her and we have been reassured by the level of care shown throughout her stay. the family were always kept informed of any concerns and these were acted on promptly.

I feel very lucky to have found Tye Green Lodge as a care home for my elderly dad. Tye Green Lodge is a friendly place where residents are valued as individuals and are treated kindly and with respect. Every effort is made to cater for the diverse needs of the residents. The home (and the residents) is beautifully clean and well-presented. The garden is lovely. The staff are amazing and create a family feeling. Ths wonderful care home provided a 'blueprint' for what care time should be.
My father was in Tye Green for over a year. In that time, he was always shown care and kindness by all staff, not only the carers but all employees. From the moment you enter Tye Green, there is a feeling of happiness. I visited the home every day and at all different times, and the resident always seemed happy and cared for. When my father passed away, the compassion that was shown was lovely to see.
Mum wasn't keen (old school about care homes) but I persevered and got her in. They suggested to give Mum two weeks to get used to it. I went to pick her up and come to mine for the day at 1 1/2 weeks and she didn't want to go... Says it all! It's like staying at a hotel. It's bright and airy, everyone has a smile, and Mum is safe, well fed and well-looked after. I enjoy going to visit her! I'd like to put my name down when it's my turn, please.
My aunt enjoys her time in Tye Green Lodge. There are plenty of activities she is involved with. She enjoys the food, the rooms are clean and the staff treat her with kindness and dignity.
Overall, I think my mother is being very well looked after at this care home and although the food is very good, maybe it is too good. Therefore, to control residents' weight and wellbeing is there the possibility of maybe introducing smaller portion sizes and more regular exercise sessions. This of course will be very much dependant on the mobility of each resident.
My father has been a resident for just over four months and loves the care and attention he receives. I have found the experience extremely rewarding for my father. The staff and facilities are excellent and they can't do enough for all their residents.
