View Full Details of Kathryn CourtMy mum has now been at Kathryn's Court for 4 weeks and I can't begin to tell you the positive difference it has made to my mum's qaulily of life and indeed the hole family. The professionalism and care from all the staff has been of the Highest qaulily and I can't thank them all enough. Continue the fantastic work you all do, once again a huge thankyou from me.
My mother was here for 13 years and always well cared for and happy. Now here for another family member and still good.
The care has been consistently good and my friend is always cheerful. Staff are friendly and respectful.
I always find my Mother-in-law happy and well looked after. The staff are always caring and respectful towards her. Her room is clean and comfortable. Management always have time to listen to us.
I don't think my Dad could have picked a better care home for my Mum, very welcoming. The home is always spotless. Great management and care staff!
The home has improved since the current manager came back to the home as manager. The staff appears to be more settled and content. My mum's care has improved and if I mention an issue it has been dealt with immediately. She gas drinks and her juice beaker is there with her all the time now. All the staff are documenting what type of stool she's passing. She is walking to her wheelchair instead of just turning around into it.
My personal overview of the home is that Dad is very well cared for, he gets all he needs and more. I will mention home has a very welcoming manager she is really nice and the home is so much better. I hear lots of laughter and good things are happening we also have a new deputy who is also very nice, overall good things are happening at Kathryn Court.
I visited my friend several times a week. My visits were frequent but short. I found the staff and the general environment to be pleasant and adequate, sometimes his table was sticky but any attempt by him to eat or drink would result in spillage. Expecting constant and immediate cleaning would be unrealistic. Would I be pleased to spend my final days at Kathryn Court? Yes, I would.
Overall Kathryn Court is good - Mum has only been there for a few months and unfortunately, there are so many dementia patients. Mum will not come out of her room due to the fact that the dementia patients keep coming and opening her draws. Admin/Care: Commendation to a particular staff member in Kathryn Court - excellent.
Have always experienced that there is great empathy at Kathryn Court. Lots of love and care which is so important.
My wife has been a full-time resident since September 2021. For the first two years the management (manager/assistant/admin) were a team that had worked together for a number of years. During 2024 the team was split up due to members being promoted and relocated. This naturally had an effect on the overall operation of the new management team. Many of the care staff were experienced old hands and the smooth running of Kathryn Court continues. I visit and lunch with my wife 3-4 times weekly and my overall personal experience is excellent as reflected herein.
The cleanliness of Mum's room is of an excellent standard. Thank you. Thank you too for maintaining Mum's medication so carefully and making sure she takes all her tablets. The team is fantastic.
My mother has been in Kathryn Court for 17 days. We have been so grateful for all they have done. Mum has been so happy here and it has been so reassuring to know she has been safe and so well looked after. I hope and pray she can come here for the next respite. Thank you Kathryn Court you are priceless!
Obviously, moving my mother into a care home is a daunting experience, but I felt totally comfortable and confident moving her into Kathryn Court. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly and I felt no worries leaving Mum there. The facilities are clean and bright and everyone is very helpful. Thank you Kathryn Court for making Mum feel so welcome.
I can't thank the staff at Katherine Court enough, my mum has been there just over a year now she suffers from dementia, recently she had a fall (no fault of the staff) happened early hours of the morning as she was trying to put her tv on, she fractured her hip. From the moment she fell the staff contacted me and kept me updated until I met her in hospital, since she has returned they have managed to get her walking with a frame and helped her gain the weight back she lost in hospital, she is so happy there they are all amazing.
I am very pleased that my wife is in Kathryn Court where the staff and so look after her better than I now can and she is very happy there, a weight off my mind. I don't normally do reviews, but this one is important to our family.
I think Mum is settling in very well, she understands she cannot manage at home on her own, which is sad but, with support from the staff, she is starting to join in and make friends and the home is making sure she sees appropriate health professionals. She has not fallen at all, unlike at home and she has someone with her. She has people to talk to all day and she is very sociable so loves to talk to people and be with them.
In the words of my mum - 'this home is so lovely, I am in heaven'. Since moving Mum into this home, my life has been transformed, as has Mum's. She is so happy and well looked after I cannot fault anything at all. All of my family agree wholeheartedly with my sentiments - we are all made so welcome.
My mother has settled in so well. I cannot thank the staff enough. So kind and genuinely caring.
My aunt moved into Kathryn Court in September 2020 under quite stressful circumstances. The staff in the home went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly and it wasn't too overwhelming for us all. My aunt has gone from strength to strength; joining in with activities, going out on outings and starting to make friends again.
