Christmas is always very nice lots of activities going on all the time. It would be better if the care park was bigger. Lovely gardens as well overall very nice place to stay
Mum is a new resident and was made to feel welcome and 'part of the family' immediately. All the staff are very friendly and caring and nothing is too much trouble. I take great comfort in knowing that Mum is safe, happy and cared for to a very high standard. Thank you to everyone at Beech Tree.
My husband was in Beech Tree in September 2024 for respite on two occasions and I couldn't praise them enough. The staff, the food, the hygiene and care all round was brilliant. They are like one big family and made me feel like part of it. Thank you to everyone at Beech Tree for everything.
Care staff are friendly always smiling and can't do enough for you. I would rate this care home as excellent.
My husband went into Beech Tree the beginning of October. On my first visit to the home, I was impressed with the smell of cleanliness. I felt very much at ease with the atmosphere and friendliness from all levels. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. Sadly, my husband took a serious decline and passed. We did have a couple of minor issues but these were dealt with immediately. I would highly recommend this home.
Friendly staff, very helpful, made us tea on arrival from London, very informative and the care manager, nothing is too much trouble.
Greeted by the lovely care manager upon arrival. Offered tea once we had been shown where our cousin's room was. Brought flowers so staff found a vase for us to put them in. Room was bright and clean and our cousin looked comfortable in her chair by the window with a table next to her with drinks.
My parents moved into Beech Tree in February 2024 and from the outset, they were made to feel very welcome. The standard of care since this day has been excellent.
My parents have been residents at Beech Tree for about five months. I really appreciated how helpful the manager was in finding a room for them, which we needed in a hurry. Since then, they have been treated really well by all the staff, which helped them to settle in fast. My family are very grateful to Beech Tree for looking after them.
Beech Tree Care Home are amazing at checking on how things can be improved. Residents are well looked after and treated like family.
Excellent service by manager, deputy manager, care manager, clinical manager, carers, chief and domestic. Can speak to them directly for any help. Also the administrative manager helps with any non-care problems. I found that it is very easy to contact any member of the staff. Carers are friendly. Nurses are available for consultation anytime day or night. Do not have to worry about medication. They are done and checked. GP visits once a week are excellent. Excellent laundry service.
My experience with Beech Tree has been very positive from the initial visit to present day. The facility is bright and cheerful and staff are friendly and caring, with genuine warmth shown towards residents. The activities programme is packed and varied - Dad enjoyed the alpaca visit and I stayed for the birds even though Dad was in bed sleeping! I don't get to visit as often as I would like due to distance so tend to pop my head into the office to get a fuller picture of how Dad is doing. I am always made to feel welcome and never rushed as they provide more context about Dad's day-to-day life in the home and what activities he engages with. I don't know how many times a day they do this for relatives of other residents but they are endlessly patient and seem to really know Dad and his needs and preferences which is a huge comfort to me. I would recommend Beech Tree without hesitation. Big thank you to all the staff.
When looking at the home, I met the care home manager, she showed me around the home, talked me through a usual day for residents, food and menus and also the activities planned. She was patient with all my questions and watching the interactions between staff and residents, I knew Pops would be safe and well cared for here. We were able to choose a room from the two available and to personalise it to help transition him in. Pops settled in straight away, his quality of life has improved significantly, he is out of bed every day and there are activities, morning and afternoon, that he joins in with, he loves the singers and dancers that come in. All of the staff are so kind and take great care of him with dignity but they also take the time to check how we are too. There is always someone available for any questions or concerns or discuss anything at all to do with his care. Making the decision to move him was hard but we couldn’t be happier and would recommend Beech Tree without hesitation.
From the first day of visiting the care home, the service, friendliness and care have been excellent. My father has been looked after by carers to a very high standard. The home staff have excellent dementia-friendly experience and they are patient at difficult times my father has. They are very supportive to my mother when she is finding times hard with my father being in a home after sixty-three years of marriage. Thank you for being outstanding.
My Nan has been at Beech Tree for a while now and although initially reluctant to go into care she has adapted to her new home. The home provides a good level of care, meals, and entertainment. Nan does seem to be genuinely happy there.
I have found Beech Tree to be a friendly, welcoming environment. The staff and manager are very approachable and understanding of people's needs. The care and support that my friend receives is excellent. The home is always clean and all of the staff make time to talk and are visible. I would not hesitate to recommend Beech Tree and as a bonus, it sits in a lovely village.
My wife was transferred to this home from the hospital because I was not well enough to be her sole carer. The staff are kind and caring to residents and to their relatives. I have had several visits to my wife that have been emotionally difficult for me but staff have provided support to me as well. I visit frequently, 4-5 times each week, and there are no restrictions on visiting times. Her care is collaborative: carers, nurses and management are readily available to approach and listen to requests or suggestions about their residents. Managers hold meetings for residents to which relatives are invited and where plans and developments are described and comments from residents and relatives listened to. Relatives and friends may only be present for a limited number of hours each day or week, but my contact with other residents confirms their satisfied observations about the services. I recommend this home.
I have been extremely happy with the care given to my Mother. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and have provided a consistently high standard of care. A wonderful care home.
My mum had a two-week stay in July/August while I was away. We live over 30 minutes away from the care home, but my mum wanted to go back to Beech Tree because of the friendly feeling as the staff make it felt like an extended family. The care she received was first class and helped her with anything that she needed. The entertainment and advents are always fun for residents and their families. Big thanks to all the carer/entertainers/cleaner/office staff/cooks etc. for what they have done and will carry on doing for her when needed in the future.
My mum reached 85 in December. Staff went out of their way to help us arrange a surprise birthday party in the care home Lounge. The lounge is clean, bright and airy. We served tea and cakes and had a lovely few hours with all generations of our family. Mum had a lovely time. I cannot speak highly enough of the support and care that both of my parents receive at Beech Tree. The manager's door is always open which is a great comfort to us. We consider ourselves very fortunate that our parents can continue to live in the village where they have been for over 50 years. Keep up the good work - we appreciate you!
