View Full Details of Enham Care Home ServicesMy brother has lived at Enham since 2012 and after the initial adjustment has always been happy there. The block where he lives, Elizabeth House was originally a residential care home but over the last couple of years has transitioned to Support Living. My brother enjoys the greater independence this allows - being supported to go food shopping, cook his own meals and even clean his flat. The staff are kind, attentive, and caring and also make him laugh which is a wonderful thing to hear. I feel he is well-cared for and I know he wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Since the new Manager took over the management of Enham Trust there have been huge improvements.
My son has been in Elizabeth House in Enham for about 12 years. The staff in the House are completely committed to him and go the extra mile to support him. They know him well - for example they take him on days out, planning in terms of what his interests are. He has a wide programme of activities which are open to all residents and helps them make friends. For example, he is in the choir which puts on concerts - joyous occasions. I think this sense of community is something very special to Enham, as are the grounds - like a campus. I get immediate updates of anything needed to do with his health and I'm confident he is looked after. In any care home there are things that could be tweaked to be improved, but I have complete confidence in senior managers to act as needed. My son is extremely happy, safe and settled in Enham and I am very grateful for this.
My brother has been in care at Enham for around fifty years. There have been many personnel changes over this time, but since the recent involvement of the Aster Group, there is a much more positive, professional, and forward-looking management approach to the care services provided. The carers really do care and my brother is happy there.

My daughter has lived at Enham for 17 years and considers this to be her home. She loves her life at Enham and is involved in activities around the campus site that support her physical development. She leads a good social life and enjoys excellent support from all staff at Enham. She is treated with respect and dignity at all times. Above all else, she is listened to as an individual. The positive ethos found throughout Enham fully supports our family when advocating for my daughter. The staff are dedicated and caring.
