View Full Details of Home Park Nursing HomeMy Mum was moved to Home Park Nursing Home for palliative care after having had a short illness in December 23. She was in the last stage of her Alzheimer's journey. From the moment my sister and I, visited the home and had an impromptu meeting with staff we were relieved and pleased that Mum was coming to such a well run, supportive and amazing facility. Although my Mum was only at the home for a short period I can't thank the manager and her team enough for the care and support they gave to Mum. They had only just met her but treated her as if they had known her for a long time, got to know about her and were constantly trying ways to make her final days as comfortable as possible. For myself and my siblings we could not be more grateful in what was a very difficult period. Home Park is an amazing facility and although we know Mum was shortly to leave us we were all greatly comforted that she could not have been in a better place. Thank you.
My late father was a resident of this amazingly wonderful nursing home for a good few years. The staff are caring fun and kind not only to the residents but family as well. My father sadly passed away but the care given to both him and myself was second to none. I feel very lucky to have found a nursing home with such high values after having had not such great experiences elsewhere. Thank you all. Cannot praise you highly enough.
Excellent nursing home, very passionate and caring staff to both residents and families when visiting. Always clean, excellent food and care.
My husband is always treated with dignity and respect.
Considering the extra pressure due to the Covid 19 virus, I feel that the staff at Home Park have coped exceptionally well and continued their kind support of my mother. I'm sure that she is as well looked after during this time as she has been since her arrival at Home Park several years ago. They've always treated her with dignity and care.
My mother moved to Home Park from a nursing home in the area. From the start, I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and caring. My mother has dementia and is also bed-bound. The staff meet all of her needs, and someone is often popping in to talk to her and give her any assistance that she needs. As she is bed-bound, this is very important to her and the family.
I can speak extremely highly of this home. The whole staff are very friendly and extremely kind and caring to the residents. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My husband has Parkinson's Disease and Dementia and has been quite a trial for them, but they have cared for him in an extremely exemplary way.
Home Park is a great provider of nursing care. It is very clean and staff friendly. All the residents' individual needs are catered for to a high standard. The home and its setting is also kept very well. The food is excellent. My mum is very happy with her care.
My mother has bee at home Park since December 2017. During that time I have found the staff to be friendly, professional and very caring. This includes kitchen staff, office, nurses and carers (day and night) and the maintenance person and gardeners. Residents are treated with dignity. Their food is planned according to diet and their health requirements. There are regular activities including singers each month and a theatre company who do a pantomime and musical each year. The rooms are very clean and clothes laundered and care in dressing is noticeable. Regular visits by hairdresser and chiropodists too.
I am very pleased with the service provided and overall care for my husband.
Since my Mum arrived, the staff have been brilliant. The food is great. The hairdresser did a great job. It is always clean. The staff are approachable and warm. Overall it feels like one big family, which is lovely considering the circumstances.
