I am very pleased that we moved my stepfather into Oakland Grange, he is very happy there. The staff are very kind and caring.

I was very glad to find Oakland Grange Care Home for Mum's respite care. Excellent managed and the staff are so kind and caring. Clean and lovely home-cooked meals.

My mum has been in this home for a few years. The care is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The manager and team give you their time. They are entertained with activities.

My uncle came to Oaklands Grange in 2023. His room is bright and clean, and he was provided with a recliner chair to sit in. The staff are very polite and helpful and assist to live a good life, in that they will shop for him for anything he needs. His personal care is excellent, and if there are any issues with anything, these are remedied very quickly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Oakland Grane. Totally nice atmosphere when there! Really clean!

My mum has been a resident here for five years, and I have never been to a care home with such attentive and wonderful staff. I work in the medical field and am blown away by the staff, always going above and beyond to ensure their residents are happy and well cared for. I would truly recommend this nursing home to take care of their loved ones in their time of need.

My mother has been at Oakland Grange for over four years. The staff are excellent with her and her family. Mum's needs are well catered for; she always looks clean and well dressed, food is good, and if she does not like the menu, they will do her something she does like. They have lots of activities for the residents, often bringing in entertainment and taking them out. I cannot praise them enough for the care and compassion they show Mum and the way they treat us every time we visit.

Our auntie is cared for so well. They know her so well too. They deal with all her personal care, from washing, dressing encouraging her to eat and keeping her safe. The staff all show kindness and empathy not just to our auntie but also to us. The staff are also very informative, keeping us up to date with every ongoing. We can't praise them enough. Leaving our aunt in their care is so very comforting, and we have peace of mind she will be looked after well.

My brother-in-law was a resident at Oakland Grange Care Home for several years. Distance made it difficult to visit often but we did manage a few visits and spoke by phone frequently. Despite declining mobility and health, he was always positive and full of praise for his carers and the friendship they showed to him. I am very glad that he was living in a friendly and supportive place. In recent years, he needed increasing amounts of care and I know that he found the staff always willing to go the extra mile to help him. I also found the management, whenever I contacted them, to be helpful and responsive. I cannot comment on all the categories below as I did not have the opportunity to experience them but on the basis of those aspects I did see, I am sure that they all deserve a rating as excellent.

We count ourselves to be very lucky in taking up residency in Oakland Grange Care Home. The building does not look modern but this is compensated by the quality of staff and management. They are truly first-class and give a five-star service.

My mum has been a resident since October 2018. She is very happy there. The staff are very good with Mum. I find the staff very friendly and helpful, especially if I have any queries concerning Mum and her care. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a care home for their loved ones.

My mother has been at oaken Grange for over four years and has received amazing care from all the carers. Our family has also received kind and caring attitude from all at the home. The food must be extremely tasty and good, Mum has always had a good appetite and has continued to enjoy her food until recently. She always looks well groomed and dressed and the sensitive care she receives is wonderful. Rooms are kept clean and tidy's always.

The facility provides what we require for Mum - safety and care. The staff are fantastic - very attentive and always make time to discuss any questions we may have. Mum has settled well and said her room is great. The food is excellent and they make a fuss of her and she feels happy there. My family and I are happy knowing Mum is happy and she is safe and being cared for.

My relative is very content. He is always treated with dignity and respect. His needs are always catered for. The staff are amazing, it seems there is a top-down approach, and the managers make sure the staff are well trained. The staff are kind and all very pleasant. My relative's room is a little tired, but he doesn't seem to mind. However, I am informed steps are being taken to refurbish parts of the building.

I hated the idea of Mum going into a care home, but because of her declining dementia, she was no longer safe at home. Seven months in, and we are happy Mum has actually improved. The mental stimulation of being around people is really showing. Mum has made friends, which, if you knew my mum pre-dementia, would surprise you.

When my mum initially moved in, she was very anxious, but you would never know now. Their amazing care of her has helped her to settle in, and she loves it there now. The manager is absolutely fantastic; my mum loves her. We cannot fault a single aspect of their care for her. From the food to the facilities, everything is perfect. Would 100% recommend.

My mother-in-law has been a resident for about six months, and she loves it. All the staff look after her really well. She loves the food and her room; she has made a very good friend. There are lots of activities for her to do, and she keeps on telling us about a special lady (the owner) with a big heart. Would definitely recommend this home to anybody looking for a home for their relatives - ten out of ten.

My mum-in-law has been in this home for two years, she is very happy, and although suffering from dementia, she always seems very happy in her own mind. She is clean, well fed and well cared for, and the staff have the utmost patience when dealing with any issues relating to the residents. The home is clean and always has a celebration of some kind going on, always well decorated for the celebration, and residents are included in everything that is happening.

My mum-in-law has been in this home for two years, she is very happy, and although suffering from dementia, she always seems very happy in her own mind. She is clean, well fed and well cared for, and the staff have the utmost patience when dealing with any issues relating to the residents. The home is clean and always has a celebration of some kind going on, always well decorated for the celebration, and residents are included in everything that is happening.
