Amazing caring staff, nothing too much trouble to look after my dad. Just had a great review with the manager and senior carer, a wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone that looks after all his needs. I am glad we chose St Elizabeth to care for dad.
I have nothing but good to say about St Elizabeth's. My mum has been a resident since November 2023 and the staff there are truly fabulous. Caring and supportive for all of mum's needs and also superb at keeping me informed. 110%.
It was a great pleasure being able to get Dad into St Elizabeth's for his end of life. I had already had experience of the care he would get, due to mum being a resident there for 10 months. The staff are next to none, nothing is too much trouble. The meals are good and a variety of choices. I was always made welcome with a smile a hug and a cup of tea. I would definitely recommend them.
The manager and all the staff are wonderful. So caring and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. My dad is a new resident and probably finding it hard to adjust as we are all new to this as a family. The staff go all out to try and help him. They are always smiling and they work so hard. I cannot speak highly enough of the manager and all her staff. They are amazing and thank you for all your help. We made the best choice for my dad!
I am impressed with the care and individual attention given to the residents at St Elizabeth Care Home. My close friend has lived here for a couple of years and I have visited frequently and have always been treated with respect and friendliness by the staff on duty. My friend is happier here than he was and is looked after very well. His choices are always taken into account. If I had to chose a care home for myself, I would chose St Elizabeth.
My mum absolutely loves being in St Elizabeth house The staff are person-centred towards her needs and show compassion towards her, I could not wish for a better home for my mum to be cared for in. Since my mum has been in the home she looks well and has put on a bit of weight, she has really come out of herself and socially interacts with everyone. To all the staff at St Elizabeth House, you are truly amazing and thank you for looking after my mum so well.
My brother says it's absolutely wonderful! It's very good and is a relaxing place to be and has a great atmosphere. The staff are great, and the facilities are clean and good. The food is very tasty, and the bed is very comfortable. There is a nice big lounge with a big TV screen, and the other residents are friendly. I get good communication from the home about my brother, and queries are answered promptly.
My nan was no longer safe living alone at home, and the decision was made for her to go live in a care home. A decision we were all upset with. However, St Elizabeth has been fantastic, and our minds were quickly put at ease. This care home has a strong homely feel, and the staff are lovely. I honestly can say that I know my nan is in safe hands and is very happy in her new home.
My nan has been here for five months now, and the staff here are absolutely brilliant. Always there to help and assist, and it's never too much bother, makes me feel that my nan receives the best care anyone could ask for. They always keep me up to date on things, and when I visit my nan, which is nearly every day, the staff makes me feel very welcome, and my nan is very happy to be here. For those that have read this, as they are in a position of deciding if their family member is to stay here, please let me put your minds at rest and say that you can't go wrong as I know that this care home would be a very good choice.
My grandma has settled in really well, and it's nice to see her happy and well cared for. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It's nice to know my grandma can do activities within the facility. Love the updates and pictures.
I was tasked with finding a permanent care home for my mum last year. I arranged to view a number of properties, but the one that stood out from the rest was St Elizabeth. I had a long chat with the manager on the phone, first of all, explaining the situation and what I needed for my mum. From this first call, they stood out as being different. The home feels homely and not a corporate entity, unlike some of the other homes I visited. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and Lily, the dog, is adorable, even if she does bark every time she sees me! St Elizabeth's benefits from being a smaller home and provides all the care and covers our needs as a family. I would definitely recommend them, especially if you're looking for a home environment.
My dad has vascular dementia and was placed in October 2022. I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they have given my father since he arrived in September 2022. He has settled in really well after being very distressed after spending a couple of months in the hospital.
Ever since my mum has been in St Elizabeth, she has had excellent care. It's a home-from-home and her second family. We love visiting her there as she is so happy there. All the members of staff at St Elizabeth's are great; Mum loves them all. We are so pleased with the care and attention Mum gets. Would highly recommend St Elizabeth.
My dad seems extremely happy and comfortable here. Every time we go and see him, the staff are always friendly, the environment lovely, and he really does enjoy living here. Very happy overall, so thank you!
My mum has been at St Elizabeth's for over a year now, and despite it being one of the hardest decisions my family and I had to make, and has settled in really well. We were looking for a small, family feel and non-hospital feel home for our Mum, and we have made the best choice for Mum! She is happy and has even put on weight (which she could do with). I love that St Elizabeth's is a home-from-home, and all the staff are approachable and very supportive, not just to Mum but to our family too. Staff are always ready to help, and nothing is too much trouble. I can't thank St Elizabeth's enough for giving my family and myself peace of mind that Mum is safe and well cared for.
St Elizabeth's care home, in my experience, was outstanding in the care provided for my late father. Wonderful staff, very caring, not only for my father but also for his family. The food served was excellent. The best choice for my father's last home. I would highly recommend this care home.
We moved my nan into St Elizabeth's in November, and from when we contacted them about availability to present, the support and care from staff have been impeccable. Nothing is too much effort. With Nan's dementia, she was very unsettled and confused with her move, but with the support and care of the staff, she is very happy and settled. The constant contact with management, sending us regular pictures and messages, ensures me Nan is happy and content with her new home.
It's now over a year that my wife has been living at St Elizabeth. My wife has Alzheimer's. I am happy and reassured now. The care she received is second to none. All the staff are kind and very patient with her. They know her as a person and not as an illness. No other place for her.
Friendly, helpful and caring beyond is another level. Love the way all the food is home-cooked, and nothing is any trouble if the residents don’t want something or didn’t feel like it, they just offer something else etc. Also, love the way when you ring up, they know you as it’s small, so it’s has a lovely feeling about the home.
