View Full Details of Lime Tree ManorMum became a resident at Lime Tree Manor in May 2023, where she lived until her passing from dementia in March 2025. Throughout her time there, she was treated with the utmost kindness, dignity, and compassion. The staff ensured she was always well cared for, comfortable, and in a warm, welcoming environment. All the staff were always approachable, keeping us informed and offering support when we needed it most. We are deeply grateful for the love and care she received. We would wholeheartedly recommend Lime Tree Manor to anyone seeking a nurturing and compassionate home for their loved one. Thank you to everyone at Lime Tree Manor for your unwavering dedication.
My father had been a resident in Lime Tree Manor from August 2021 until his passing in February 2025. During this time he was very well looked after, always clean and very well fed but most of all he was treated with kindness and respect, and for that I will always be truly grateful. When his condition deteriorated he was moved to the nursing unit where the care he received was exemplary, the staff showed us compassion and respect and I was able to stay the night with my dad where I felt safe and supported. Thank you to all the staff at Lime Tree Manor
My Mother resided at Limetree Manor in the dementia unit for almost the past 2 years. What should a carehome be...its in the name they really Care about the residents wellbeing and needs and they provide a real home not an institution. The staff are always on hand to discuss any concerns. There are plenty of activities to entertain residents and relatives are welcome and encouraged to join in. I am especially grateful for the gentle care and support we received at the end of Mums life which enabled her to die in comfort and dignity. Thankyou.
The building was very clean and welcoming and they had facilities there for my Dad to have his hair cut and other services like a podiatrist, and they were so lovely helping to keep my Dad looking good, which was important to him. Unfortunately, my Dad was too unwell to join in with any of the activities held at the home, but it looked like they had lots of options if your loved one was more able. All the staff were so caring and respectful and gave my Dad the utmost of dignity all the time he spent there before his passing. They supported my Dad and me and all my family in every possible way, especially with emotional support and kindness. I can only praise all the staff, including Nurses, care assistants and cleaners, and every one of them showed that they truly cared for my Dad's well being, to the very end of his life. Thank you to each and everyone at Lime Tree Manor.
The care and commitment to my aunt was second to none. Always someone available to talk to regarding my aunt. Looked after her until her passing on 21.12.2024 I would recommend this care home to anyone who is looking into placing a loved one into care.
Mum moved into Lime Tree Manor (LTM) in July 2022 and lived there until her passing from dementia in November 2024. My sister and myself cannot speak too highly of the kindness and compassion that she received from the staff at Lime Tree Manor during this time. Mum was always clean and tidy, was well fed and lived in an immaculate room, suitably furnished, a 'home from home'. The staff were always approachable and helpful, ready to answer questions and keeping us both well informed as to how Mum was getting on. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lime Tree Manor to anyone with an elderly relative looking to move into a care home. Thank you to everyone at Lime Tree Manor - your collective help was most greatly appreciated.
This wonderful caring place has been home to my father for two years. The management and staff including the activities staff go above and beyond to make his stay happy and safe. The atmosphere is homely and everyone smiles. Most of the staff are long standing which is reassuring, they are professional and keep me updated on a weekly basis. LimeTree Manor is excellent, I cannot recommend it enough.
My husband is very happy there and the staff are fantastic. He joins in some of the activities but is never pressured into taking part if he does not want to. The place is always clean when I visit. I am always addressed by name and staff are very friendly towards me.
My 91-year-old mother recently passed away at Lime Tree Manor. She had been a resident for just over 2 years. During her time there, she was bedridden; her health and dementia gradually deteriorated and she was very frail and weak. I am her daughter and live over 250 miles away in Wales. I visited Mum as often as I possibly could and phoned often. The staff in turn kept me informed with updates regarding her health care. I cannot speak highly of all the staff; from senior staff to the nurses, carers and activity ladies. They are all professional, nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum was treated with kindness and respect and cared for to a high degree. I was made welcome too on each of my visits. It was like a 'home from home' and not only will I miss my mum very much, I will miss the staff too. Lime Tree is a well-run residential and nursing home, and I would not hesitate to recommend it for the care of your loved one in their twilight years.
My mother has been a resident at Lime Tree Manor for nursing care since January 2024. The care and kindness of the staff and management have been first-class. My mother arrived after a long spell in hospital and was very weak being bed-bound for several weeks. The nurses and staff have provided excellent support to help my mum recover to a level where she is no longer bed-bound and has the strength to do more things independently for herself. She now is able to socialise with other residents and join them for meals each day. I am extremely grateful for all that has been done. The care home is well run and to a high standard of cleanliness. The facilities and equipment are very good too. The staff are excellent and treat all residents and visitors with kindness and are cheerful and pleasant to everyone.
Lime Tree Manor has been looking after my mum since March 2023, and in all of that time, they have really looked after her. Nothing has been too much trouble, and they are always courteous, polite and kind to both my mum and myself. They always keep me updated on her health as and when needed too, which is very much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lime Tree to anyone, it is a perfect place for residents to see out their final years. My father-in-law was in a really expensive care home several years ago, and it was nowhere near the high standard of care I've come to experience for Mum from Lime Tree Manor. Well done to all of the staff.
The staff have been very good and kind to me when I visited my friend, who lives here. My friend also mentioned that he is very happy with the services given to him. He also enjoyed the summer fetter. I always find him with a good vibe and will recommend this place to everyone.
My mum has been a resident since April 2024. Her health and well-being have improved so much. She is very happy at Lime Tree and enjoys the afternoon activities that the staff arrange. It has been lovely to see the positive change in her since she moved in. All of the staff we have met, nurses, carers and housekeepers are great. They are friendly, approachable, kind, and welcoming and provide excellent care for my mum. It is a clean and friendly environment and they are very responsive to my mum's needs.
I couldn't recommend this residential care home more highly. My mother needed to go into care in December 2019 after living in 'independent living' accommodation. My mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Mixed Dementia. We looked at a few options and Lime Tree Manor really stood out. It's not glossy or fancy but what really stood out was the compassion and absolute dedication of the staff to my mum's needs. COVID came along and went again, and at all times the staff were communicative with me. Mum was the most sociable person imaginable and as her dementia progressed her level of care changed with it. In February 2024 Mum was moved to a higher level of care including nursing care and then passed away in March. Mum was a coeliac and they catered for her strict gluten-free diet, and her medication. They made her comfortable. Mum was treated with dignity at all times. The manager has been in place many years and always has a smile, and is professional, the staff always gave me a warm welcome.
My dad was a resident at Lime Tree Manor for 7 years. I would recommend this home to anyone, all of the staff are so kind and happy. Sadly my dad passed away in April, I will always be grateful to everyone there who made his last few difficult years the best they could be for him. Thank you.
I cannot fault the care my brother received. The staff are all so friendly and professional - nothing is too much trouble. The home is kept clean, and the ambience is cheerful. I was notified of any changes in my brother's condition at all times. I would always recommend Lime Tree Manor without hesitation.
My mum has been at Lime Tree now since April, and she is happy and settled. The staff are kind and look after her needs very well. She joins in as many activities as she can and has some extra help because her eyesight is not very good, so it can be difficult to take part in some activities. There is a welcoming feel about the place, and the members of staff are consistent, which is good and means that she has got to know them well, and so have I. I visit several times a week as the home is local to me, and I am always able to park easily. The staff always phone me to update me on anything that changes, which I really appreciate. She has said to me now that she considers this as her home now - which is a great comfort to me. The extra effort over the Christmas period was also very appreciated. We are lucky that this was the home she was placed in on discharge from the hospital, as it has turned out to be a really nice place for her to now be in permanently.
I found Lime Tree Manor an exceptionally kind, and caring home my mother had exceptionally good care from all the care staff at the home. The home was kept extremely clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Very pleased and happy with all aspects of my mother’s care.
Absolutely 100% best care and attention one could wish for throughout the time of permanent residence. Never ever a complaint or criticism. Wonderful staff at all times. Standard of cleanliness highly rated.
This is the fourth care home my brother has been in. Out of all of them Lime Tree Manor was the only care home to keep him well and out of hospital. The nursing staff are fantastic, keeping an eye out for the smallest change in my brother and were on any infection straight away. I can't thank them enough for looking after my brother and giving me the piece of mind that he was well and that I could work with his case manager and physio to keep his physical mobility up. In the end when my brother was dying, again the staff were fantastic looking after me and my brother like family it was amazing. My brother and I stayed in the care home and I held his hand right up to his last breath with compassion and caring all around us. Thank you to the staff I had the pleasure of working with looking after my brother. Bless you all and thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
