I consider the Burleigh House Residential Home to be outstanding. The interaction we have with the management and day-to-day staff is first-class. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We have regular (weekly) visits/calls which are essential to us as a family.

The care home is a forward-thinking provider. The staff are courteous and caring. We receive regular updates on care user's activities, medical reviews and doctor visits - focussed on well-being. The staff go out of their way to include families and genuinely ask how families are doing. The management team keep us up to date with meetings and emails. They provide a transparent, five-star service to all.

From day one, the staff have been extremely accommodating, making Mum feel very much at home from the start, we have noticed a huge difference in her confidence which is very much due to the staff's help and encouragement. Mum loves the food and has enjoyed taking part in all activities that are on offer.

My mum received the best and most professional care from all the amazing staff at Burleigh House Residential Home from the moment we walked in the door. We were made to feel at ease at what was a very emotional time and the change from her going into care was seamless. Every member of staff is a credit to this place. Thank you for looking after our mum/wife.

As soon as you go in you notice a clean, fresh smell. The staff are friendly and attentive. The person we visited was very happy and calm, she said the food is lovely and is impressed by the care she's receiving Burleigh House Residential Home is to be commended for their high standard.

My relative has now been living at Burleigh House for 6 weeks. I am nothing but impressed with the care he has received. The staff are so friendly and accommodating on every visit, especially towards my children. We are very grateful that we can relax knowing my father-in-law is safe and happy with you. He looks forward to the fortnightly live music entertainment on Fridays and has never eaten so well, so compliments to the chef too.

I was very wary until my first week. I was so impressed by all aspects of my care, but mostly, by the wonderful atmosphere created by the warmth of all the staff. I am now feeling completely at home and very grateful that I was accepted as a permanent resident.

I have been impressed with Burleigh House since my mother moved in. She is thriving in a way she was not at home and has received excellent personal care and exceptional kindness from all staff, many of whom she has formed very strong bonds with. They have introduced her to new craft hobbies and she is enjoying life again after a very difficult period of poor health. I am enormously grateful to everyone to everyone at Burleigh House for enabling my mum to have a safe, secure and stable life. The staff are always welcoming and responsive. I recommend Burleigh House as an outstanding home.

My wife has had a troubled time since 2017, probably before this but that is when it became really evident she was suffering from a lot of health issues. We sought help for her but although she went to various care establishments, nobody could get to what was actually wrong with her, having known her for over 50 years I was convinced the main problem was acute anxiety, but I am not a doctor and never try to tell them their job. I was, however, really disappointed when it was decided to place her in Victoria Court, a home for advanced dementia sufferers. We were eventually told she did not have dementia but acute anxiety, then began the long haul to get her where she needed to be and to make good the damage caused by 2 years of misdiagnosis. I cannot thank the manager and one other staff member in particular, enough for the chance they have given her, on what was a very rocky baptism, but they and the wonderful staff worked wonders with her. There is still a way to go, but thanks to the kindness shown we now can hope.

I have found the staff and management extremely courteous, kind and sympathetic. The staff are aware of the needs of my husband and encourage him in every way to feel at home. Whenever I or relatives/friends have visited, we are greeted with a smile from the staff and made to feel comfortable. Nothing seems too much trouble. I have never felt uncomfortable asking about my husband's condition and kept up to date with anything concerning his care. Definitely, the best thing I have done placing him in Burleigh House for anyone considering placing a relative in a home, because of their kindness and dedication to the needs of all residents in their care. The staff and management are wonderful.

Burleigh's staff have been so supportive and wonderful to my mum. Burleigh's management has helped me understand what is needed for Mum and her care and have been present around the home, interacting with both visitors and residents. While I have been visiting my mum, the staff at Burleigh, have gone above and beyond to help Mum have a wonderful birthday and really made it a special day for her and her family. I feel blessed that Mum is part of the Burleigh family and wouldn't want anyone else to take care of her.

Burleigh House care home is excellent, all the care and support is outstanding. During the pandemic I have been informed of all precautions that have been taken. My mother has had the very best care from the time she became a resident.

My mum has Parkinson's disease and it is important she has her medication at set times throughout the day. The staff are excellent at giving mum her medication at the correct times and giving support if needed. Mum has started to have falls and the staff have phoned me each time she has a fall with the reassurance she is ok and the actions they have taken. I am always pleased and confident with the staff's actions and the care she has been given.

My father was in Burleigh House for just over a year and this of course was during lockdown until he finally passed away. Not having access to the home I am not able to comment completely on all the facilities available, however, I am more than satisfied with the standard of care my father received, especially towards his end of life and the care shown to my husband and I this was excellent.

I am very happy with the care and help my sister gets in this wonderful home. The staff does such a wonderful job in caring for everybody here. They are so very helpful to the visitors.

My late aunt was a much loved and cared for resident of Burleigh House for seven and a half years. The family could not have wished for a better home for our dear aunt to live the last years of her life. The professionalism, warm and caring approach by all the staff and management was second to none. My aunt was always treated with dignity, respect and care through all her stages of dementia right up to her passing. The staff always kept us up to date with any changes to my aunt's health and we all knew my aunt was in safe hands. My family and I do not hesitate to recommend Burleigh to any family that needs a professional, committed and caring home for a loved one needing care during their later years.

My dad spent 4 years at Burleigh House with dementia and was a much loved resident. They treated my dad with so much love and respect right up to the very end. My mum also has dementia now and is happily living there so we never worry about her care now we know she is loved and cared for. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kind loving care home.
