View Full Details of Prince Michael of Kent CourtMy father needed to move care home as his old home could no longer cope with his needs. After visiting several other care homes Prince Michael of Kent was our first choice for him. The home has great facilities (it was refreshing when we first walked in when compared to other homes). We have also found the staff to be friendly and supportive. The most important aspect of Dad's care is his mental well being. The staff have worked hard to help Dad settle in and have been proactive in helping to manage his dementia. I very much feel that this is a care home that works hard as a supporting advocate for residents when dealing with third parties. We are very grateful for this support. I would highly recommend the Home.
My mother has been in Prince Michael of Kent Court for several years now. The facilities are lovely, the activities every day are varied and interesting. The property is absolutely stunning and the care is second to none. The staff are loving and caring and go above and beyond to make my mother comfortable.

Prince Michael of Kent Court is a wonderful care home. It is clean and tidy, light and airy and warm for the residents. It has a fabulous main lounge where they have weekly coffee mornings with the friends of Prince Michael of Kent Court. The residents can also come to the main lounge for musical (singing and bands) entertainment. There is also a good activities programme that the residents can participate in. The home also has smaller lounges too. My mum moved here at the end of October and she has been looked after so well. All the staff are kind, friendly, welcoming, very professional and above all so caring and respectful, and they are the same with relatives and friends too. It gives me, my brother and sister such peace of mind. Thank you!

The entire experience has been remarkable from the outset and beyond. Our father has been made to feel welcome by the entire team, in addition, visiting family have been welcomed and this has given us the reassurance that his needs and wellbeing have been at the forefront at all times. Everyone is so attentive, we can clearly see that this is so natural for all the team at Prince Michael of Kent Court. Thank you.
Prince Michael of Kent Court is very different to other care homes I have visited. It is bright and warm. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are friendly and caring. My friend has been at Prince Michael of Kent Court for some time and he loves living there. There are activities every day and also regular events like live musical entertainment and coffee mornings. The gardens are lovely. One of the gardens has the theme of a 1960's street scene, with shop fronts and an old-style telephone box. My friend says that all the staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are fantastic with a shop, bar and even a jukebox! My friend has had a new lease of life since being at Prince Michael of Kent Court.
My grandmother was treated with love, dignity and real care and attention right to the very end. The whole team are magnificent and nothing is too much trouble, they become family and my grandma adored them all. From the front of house to the four particular members of staff and all the amazing carers who ensured that my grandma wanted for nothing. Putting a relative in a care home is daunting and full of mixed emotions, guilt, fear and trepidation. Know that if you put your loved one in Princess Michael of Kent Court care home that is all taken away and it becomes home to you too. Can not recommend enough.
My uncle is always treated with respect and kindness at Prince Michael of Kent Court. He is very settled there and the staff are so good with him. He attends a lot of activities that the home runs for the residents which helps to jog his memory and remind him of past and present times. They have a coffee morning every Thursday morning for the residents and families that wish to visit on that day, the staff and volunteers are very attentive to everyone's needs serving coffee, cake and playing music softly in the background.
My mother-in-law moved into Prince Michael of Kent last November as she could no longer cope at home. The staff are professional, friendly, and attentive and provide great care. The home offers a wide range of activities and lovely outdoor space to sit in during the good weather. The staff encourages residents to participate in the activities. Often on a Sunday afternoon, they have a singer or band perform. At Christmas, the decorations are amazing. Each wing has its own dining room and meals are eaten in the dining room giving residents the opportunity to chat to one another. I would recommend Prince Michael of Kent Court.
My mother has been a resident for over 12 months and it has been a really positive experience for her throughout. The staff are warm, friendly, attentive, and caring. I cannot recommend Prince Michael of Kent Court highly enough. From the process of having Mum moved in, the attention paid to ensuring Mum settled in well and all the lovely, warm, kind, and caring staff in every aspect of this amazing organisation. As a family we were very anxious about moving Mum into a care home, however, we need not have been - if only all care homes were as brilliant as PMK!

A lovely home. Unlike any care home for the elderly, I have seen. The main seating area is full of light and very comfortable for residents and visitors There are smaller, more intimate lounges attached to each wing. We used to go for a family visit with tea and cakes. The dining rooms are like 4-star restaurants with tablecloths and linen napkins. My friend enjoys the social aspect of eating with a small group of residents. They share wine with each other. The standard of food is good. There are many organised activities. My friend particularly enjoys the live music organised at the week ends by the Friends of the Home. All religions and seasonal events are celebrated and the main lounge decorated Christmas saw a huge sleigh with a real-life reindeer. My friend's room is large with plenty of storage and has a wet room attached. In the summer there is a patio accessed directly from the room. We are always warmly welcomed by staff who offer tea and coffee when we visit.
My stepmother really enjoyed her respite time in Prince Michael of Kent home. She came out looking much fitter and healthier that she went in. Three regular good meals a day was responsible for this. Also the very caring carers - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you very much
Prince Michael of Kent is a very welcoming, friendly and caring community. Residents are cared for extremely well in their comfortable and very pleasant surroundings. Fantastic staff right across the board, they do their utmost to meet residents' needs in a loving and kind manner. We feel very happy our mum is looked after so well.
Inspirational leadership. The manager is outstanding. The recruitment, supervision and development of staff is first class and sets a standard that raises everyone’s game. When visiting my mother (who looks ten years younger since becoming a resident four weeks ago) I saw the manager in overalls, painting a wall. She expects none of her staff to do anything she wouldn’t do herself. Every staff member knows my mother’s name and the environment created for residents is calm, comfortable and welcoming. We are so lucky our Mum is being looked after so well, it’s all down to leadership, which starts at the top. Absolutely amazing.
