Providence Court is a lovely home. Well led by blessings and management team. The food was very good and my wife enjoyed her food. The outside gardens are beautiful and I spent many days when in the home in the garden with my wife. Carers on my wife's unit were very good, helpful, and polite.
Mum is here on respite care but will become a resident. The home is exactly that, a home! Staff are wonderful and caring. The manager has time to listen and is a lovely man. It's wonderful to see Mum so happy.
This home is extremely well run. The staff are kind and understanding. This is a warm and friendly environment and my father suffering from dementia receives excellent care. The family are always welcome and there is a good program of activities. I would highly recommend it.
I cannot fault the home in any way, my husband has been a resident for nearly two years now. The only thing I would say is that the residents do need more activities.
We spent two hours visiting resident on the 4th of March. We were offered drinks. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Ten out of ten for service provided.
After a six-week stay in hospital and a promise of surgery which was later refused as it was thought that her body would not be able to stand the trauma, my wife was discharged with total loss of the use of her legs and was showing signs of dementia. It was decided that full-time care was her best option. Following previous respite stays a previous care home was our first choice but we were disappointed that there were no beds available at the time so Providence Court was the obvious second choice. We wanted to retain the ethos of 'for care, not profit'. And we have not been disappointed. The care and courtesy shown by the manager and staff to the patients and their visitors is excellent and urgent requests are responded to quickly. The food is good and the premises are clean and seem well cared for. Entertainment and activities are available if required and I am delighted to say that after a period of settling in my wife is now completely comfortable and the signs of dementia are gone.
Our aunty has recently become a resident and we all came to visit her for the first time. We were welcomed with a smile by everyone. We enjoyed a lovely lunch together and felt very much at home and relaxed. We chatted with several carers and other residents and had a really lovely afternoon. Thank you.
When my brother was here first in early December, he waxed lyrical about how fabulous the care was. Now he is back, and when my wife and I visited the home on 4th January, we could see what led him to characterize the home as he did. It was quite clear that the staff were all committed to providing quality care, and their attention to detail was very evident. What a refreshing change to what we have heard generally about care homes.
Dad was very happy here. Lovely staff and good care. He especially liked the food! Thanks for having him!
The staff are caring and friendly, they always make time for my mother. They are very patient and always on hand. The facilities are well laid out and there are many and varied activities to engage residents. They always keep us informed of any issues. I am very happy with the care given.
Visiting my mother is not prearranged with the staff, so I always get a true picture. Mum always looks happy and cared for. There are lots of activities planned on a regular basis, and my last visit coincided with Diwali celebrations. The staff had gone to so much effort decorating the room, providing different sorts of Indian food and dressing in traditional costumes. Local nursery children also came in to sing to the residents, as well as a therapy dog for the residents to interact with. It was all a wonderful experience to witness and participate in. Well done.
Friendly and helpful when taken in for her visit. Polite and knowledgeable staff. I believe Mum enjoyed her stay however it is very hard to determine what she liked or disliked due to her Alzheimer's.
Overall a pleasant stay.
My brother is well cared for given his situation and mobility. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
We arrived to a warm welcome by all the staff. There was a pleasant smell throughout. The staff gave us comprehensive information about my aunt - they all obviously knew her although she has only been there for one week, and were happy to answer questions. Our main contact has been amazing meeting all of my aunt's needs and requests. My aunt looked so well and was so content. We were so impressed with the service given. Thank you so much.
My mother has been a resident here for some time and I am delighted with the care she has received. Every member of staff (from management to cleaning) has been helpful, polite and a pleasure to talk to. Most importantly, my mother is treated with respect, dignity, affection and understanding. I know she is always safe and treated in a caring and professional manner.
The family are very happy with the staff. Thank you to all the staff for the help and care for my mum. I can sleep better knowing Mum is in good hands.
Visited many times and the majority of the staff made us welcome. There are times when staff have been very thin on the ground. Some staff do not seem to interact with residents very much. Every time I visited I have been made to feel uncomfortable by one resident continuously calling for help.
The home is very clean, the security is good. Food is good. Some staff are more friendly than others. Activities are good for the residents. My aunt always looks clean. Room is ok size for my aunt.
