My mum (who has early dementia) stayed at Inver House for a couple of months recently while my dad was recovering in hospital from a fall. All the staff were amazing they showed so much care towards my mum. It was a stressful time but I did not need to worry about how my mum was being looked after. My mum loved joining in the activities and always got a huge welcome back after going to visit my dad. Inver house is also lovely and clean and will look even better soon with all the refurbishments. Thanks to the whole team.
First impressions are that Inver is like a luxury hotel! Very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive staff have welcomed me and offered my mum great care so far, despite her having challenging and complex needs. I can visit or call 24/7 and feel included in all aspects of deciding her care plan. Rooms appear comfortable and well decorated and residents are encouraged to personalise their space. A large range of activities appear to be offered so whether an introvert or extrovert residents are encouraged to keep mentally stimulated and engaged. I have been kept well informed about mum's care and feel reassured that she is now in the best place to support her needs moving forward.
Mu husband has been staying at Inver House since October - he had a couple of weeks in hospital at the end of October. The staff have been wonderful and very welcoming. The care my husband receives is excellent.
My father has been a resident at Inver House for over a year now and the home is fantastic. Dad could not be happier! The staff are great and he has a really nice relationship with them. The food must be good too because I need to buy larger clothes. As his son, I am so happy that dad is at Inver! I know is very well looked after.
Friendly welcoming and obliging staff at every level. More like a hotel with entertainment, you did not dread visiting your relative in fact it has been a pleasure to see how well the care is at all levels. I would be more than happy to go there for respite/rehabilitation should the occasion arise. Thank you Inver House.
When I arrived here six months ago I found a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I am very comfortable happy and thankful to be so well looked after.
Very nice, lovely, kind and friendly staff always feeling welcome to anything I need to talk about or sort things out for my friend who has become a resident and having good care. The food is very nice for the older person dieting. I have been offered drinks and food when I visited during lunchtime to keep company to my friend. I think that is very nice for the family or friends who visiting the loved ones. I can see the staff working hard to improve their service. Thank you Inver house staff and management.
After two abortive admissions to another care home. I, in desperation, managed to find Inver House to care for my husband. To my delight and gratitude met with high professional care and a wonderful caring staff who not only cared for my husband but also offered great support to me. The online review is very favourable but to my mind, Inver House is by far the best establishment in the area. The staff and management have given me peace of mind knowing that my husband is in a warm protective and safe place. Thank you all so much.
I always find my friend being well looked after by all the staff which can be a bit difficult at times as she has dementia. The House is always clean and tidy and the staff always offer me a cup of tea which is very kind of them (even though they are often quite busy) as I try to visit once a week and sometimes my visits are quite short due to my friend's health at the time of the visit. When I leave I have to ask a staff member to let me get into the lift and my friend always follows me to the lift to say goodbye. The staff are always willing to make sure I leave without my friend in tow! I just hope that whatever my own personal future holds, that Inver House will be there for me.
Under the current management, I find this an excellent and caring home. My mother has been a resident at Inver House for nearly four years and she suffers with a dementia type and can be challenging at times. I visit fairly regularly and find Mum always clean, tidy and dressed considerately. Her room has most of her own furniture, pictures and furnishings, keeping it personal to her. Staff are very kind and some go out of their way to encourage her to socialise and join in the many activities that are well organised by an imaginative team. I am allowed to bring my friendly dog to visit. They work hard to celebrate festive events in the calendar as well as birthdays for all the residents. I feel Mum is is well cared for and safe with this team of excellent staff in this very well managed home. I have no hesitation in recommending Inver House to others.
My mother was extremely anxious arriving at Inver House for her two-week respite care. Staff were reassuring and welcoming, in particular, one lady who provided warmth and empathy throughout the stay. Her continued reassurance and encouragement when every on duty were very much appreciated. I raised one issue affecting my mother's enjoyment, which was dealt with immediately and her satisfaction by the manager.
My husband has been a resident of Inver House for two years. During this time, he has been cared for really well with respect and kindness, and he seems to always be happy, looked after by lovely staff and has good quality food and generous amounts. He suffers from dementia, and I feel all his needs are met. Always looks very clean and well-groomed. Staff are very courteous, and I am always well informed of his care needs.
The team at Inver House were extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived. The care is excellent, and my mum is so pleased to be a resident at Inver - nothing is too much trouble. She has a beautiful room and all the care she needs from a great team - I couldn't have wished for more for her.
My mother was so well cared for at Inver House. The staff are amazing, and the home is small enough for them to get to know everyone. My mother had dementia, but there were lots of activities to stimulate her and to bring joy to her life. The physical care was good as well, and I always felt Mum was respected and kept safe. I would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone else.
From my perspective (as a former nursing home manager myself) my mother receives excellent care from very caring and dedicated staff. They respond quickly and sensitively to her changing care needs, all at times with dignity and good humour. Mum feels very happy and secure in Inver House. I feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for her.
Outstanding care of my mother. Kind, friendly and helpful staff - always made to feel welcome. Would recommend to friends and family without a second thought.
