View Full Details of Tudor Lodge EMI/Residential HomeCannot thank or praise the team at Tudor Lodge EMI/Residential Home enough. They really supported us as a family and my father with his stay at Tudor Lodge. They took all the stress out of caring for our father and the level of care and compassion they have is incredible, thank you so much.
Tudor Lodge is the only place my father has felt comfortable and safe. He has a lovely relationship with the staff, and along with the manager, has always gone above and beyond for his happiness, well-being and safety. They are also excellent in their communication with the family.
The home seems to me very satisfactory. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The husband is difficult and the staff seem to deal with him very well. I think he is well cared for.
I can only say that every time I have been to visit the home is clean and tidy. The residents are clean and tidy. The staff are lovely, helpful and caring. I could not wish for a better place for my brother to be.
I am grateful for the personal attention given to the residents. I have been asked what interests, sports, and activities the resident enjoys and has been involved in. My husband feels loved and cared for. He is quite at peace. I have been warmly welcomed by the staff when I visit.
The staff and all carers looked after Mum with so much care. All her needs were catered for. Mum was extremely happy and felt safe. She enjoyed being with the other residents in the communal areas. As a family, we cannot fault the manager and his staff for how they treated Mum and looked after her at the end. Everything has been excellent.
Excellent staff with a beautiful community spirit. Nothing seems too much trouble. My father has come a long way in a very short space of time thanks to the staff here.
We had to place our father gently due to a career breakdown at home where our father was trying to leave the house during the night. The management and staff have been fantastic they treat my dad with the respect and dignity he requires and ensure his care needs are met. We are offered food and drink when we visit and are supported by all staff when visits are emotional for us as a family. Dad has gained weight since he has been at Tudor Lodge. The home is clean and smells nice and the environment is what our father needs to ensure he is safe. The maintenance man is fantastic nothing is too much for him. Dad participates in activities with Activites Coordinator who also brings in newspapers every day. My dad likes sports and the staff put sports on the social media website which helps keep my father stimulated.
My family and I would highly recommend Tudor Lodge, my grandmother was cared for with the utmost respect, all the care staff treated her like she was their own family member. The manager is very caring and will do anything to make the residents feel safe and loved, we didn’t have to ask for anything as they were always one step ahead of us. When the time came and my grandmother passed away they made sure that she was in no pain and that myself and my family were looked after while we were there.
My dad was transferred to Tudor Lodge EMI/Residential Home from the hospital and the staff have been lovely with Dad, even when he's been very grumpy. He is always clean and tidy, they have arranged for him to visit the foot clinic to have his regular checkup. We are kept well informed, if anything happens, such as falls. The manager is always as pleasant as all the carers.
The home manager has been so helpful taking mine and my sister's call late evenings and weekends to offer advice and support with our Mum's declining health. Mum is well cared for and the staff are fabulous with Mum, very caring and compassionate and Mum's dignity is always respected. I couldn't praise the manager and his team enough, we are so pleased that Mum is receiving the care she needs and we can visit Mum anytime we like and we are offered lunch and refreshments throughout our visit.
I have seen a big improvement with my dad's care, if there's anything I'm not happy with it is dealt with quickly and rectified. I feel a lot more happier with his care. The home is a professional but friendly environment, showing positive attention to detail.
The staff at Tudor Lodge have been exceptional in their care for my mum and also for our surrounding family throughout a very distressing time. The manager has been a huge support to our family and always makes himself available to consult and provide guidance. The staff have always shown kindness and consideration in their care, which is our number one priority.
Mum appears happy and secure. Her room and the home are always clean and tidy and she is treated with care and dignity. The staff seem very attentive and capable. We visit Mum in her room or the garden in the summer months and are always offered tea and biscuits. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Tudor Lodge EMI/Residential Home who look after Mum admirably.
We urgently had to place Mum in respite. Everyone has been super kind, considerate and lovely to Mum and us.
We are delighted with everything, the first time ever that my husband has not wanted to come home. Sitting with him just now, he has just remarked that this has been a great success, so that says it all.
This is truly a CARE home. The manager was extremely helpful and efficient and this was reflected in the whole team. They were all always willing to help and had a lovely manner with residents. The home is spotlessly clean and residents shown affection and dignity. They all went above and beyond in caring and the Manager was outstanding with the care of residents relatives. During my visits the food looked good and varied. To be highly recommended.
I think overall the home is welcoming to visitors, providing tea and biscuits if wanted. I cannot give an answer regarding activities as I am not sure if there are any. Most of the residents are sitting in the lounge and we are allowed to visit ours in his room, as sometimes it can be quite noisy i.e. other residents shouting and screaming. His clothes are washed frequently and he is always clean when we visit.
The manager was very professional in everything he did making sure my father-in-law was given the best care possible. Nothing was ever a problem. Staff all good.
Mum has been here six months and during this time the care has been excellent. The carers are professional, kind, friendly and extremely helpful. We have found, at all times, night and day, nothing is ever too much to ask. Mum is always very clean and well-presented. The home, despite its age, is always very clean and is a credit to the staff who look after it. At this moment in time, Mum is at end of life. The care for her and us, while we have been staying, is first-class. We have experienced a number of carers returning to the home on their day off to see how Mum is. This, we find, a very unusual quality of care.
