View Full Details of Lake HouseI find this care home to be a lovely place to visit. All the staff are great with the people living here.
I like the staff and the company.
Excellent care home. The staff are very motivated and caring. No task to difficult for them to take on. Admin very good and management are very efficient. No complaints about the care home but I do have issues with the wider care question.
Home very welcoming, food good plenty of it and choices. Entertainment for all very good. Overall happy with home. Care for my family resident very caring.
My grandad came to stay at the home in February 2024. The home has been amazing to him and all the family. Food is brilliant, the staff are always so friendly and they look after him so well. My grandad loves living at Lake House, we are so happy, he's happy as that was one of my main worries. Highly recommend.
We couldn't be any happier with the standard of care our loved one is receiving. All the staff are attentive and caring. His room is always left clean and cosy. The food is delicious and it feels like a home from home.
My mother has been a resident here for three years. Initially, she was very unsettled but now it is her home! After breaking her left femur last year, she wouldn't respond to anyone on her ward, or eat or drink. It was decided to bring her back to the Lake House, and her recovery was amazing after seeing familiar faces. The care here is brilliant!
Very pleased with the way my mother is being looked after at Lake House. She has been there nearly three years now and after a difficult start of readjustment, she has now settled in and sees it as her home. This is how we wanted her stay to develop after we could no longer look after her ourselves, at home. Mum is now more relaxed and content, which puts our minds at rest knowing she is being well looked after.
I visit once a week from 10am until 4pm. Sometimes it's noisy with other residents shouting. I like the fact that I can go into another quieter room, at times and watch TV. The staff are very attentive and kind. The food is very good.
Lovely, friendly staff who seem very attentive to the residents. The staff encourage the residents to do what they can and join in the activities.
Thank you for taking such good care of my gran. She really likes the food and everyone here.
Mum was reluctant to go into Lake House but staff took care and attention to make her feel welcome and settled in. Staff are attentive, friendly and welcoming to visitors.
My mother came into Lake House for respite after a fall at home initially for two weeks, and in that time, we realised she was not safe to return home. The care and support she has had is fantastic. All staff and management are so lovely. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. Within a week of Mum being there, she also realised she wasn't safe to return home and asked if she could stay there. She said it is so lovely and feels like home, which makes all the family very happy as we know she is safe and well looked after.
Mum is very happy at Lake House where she receives excellent care. Staff are friendly and welcoming and are attentive showing dignity and respect. Thanks to the staff's encouragement. Mum has rediscovered how to socialise again which for me is so rewarding, I have my mum back.
Lake House is a very nice care home. The thing I like is you are allowed to stay in your room if you like. You can have people come and see you.
I have been at Lake House for three months and in that time I have been very well looked after. I have felt very cared for by all the staff, carers, kitchen and domestic staff. All of these are very cheerful and friendly which means the home has a good, positive atmosphere. Support is fine in every area including encouragement to eat food which is good, and organised activities to help avoid boredom and including crafts and quizzes.
My grandmother has been placed in an environment where she feels happy, and safe and has helpful staff who are always there for her.
For me, it's all about the quality of care and knowing that your loved one is well looked after when you can't be there. The staff are friendly and go the extra mile to make residents feel that they matter, that they feel happy and supported. This is because the staff are genuinely interested in the residents' lives, what they used to do, and who their family members are. The interaction I have seen between all staff and residents radiates warmth and fun. Would definitely recommend.
Both my mum and dad came here for care. They both have had 5 star care and I would recommend it very highly to anyone. Sadly my dad passed away the palliative care he received was 5 star and the staff go above and beyond for all the residents here at Lake House.
Very happy with all the care and support I have received since I came to Lake House with my husband and his care and support too.
