View Full Details of Albury Care Home LtdI have been visiting a resident of Albury Care Home for 4 years. Over that time I have always received a warm welcome. My friend is very happy to be living at Albury House where he feels safe and the room he occupies is spacious, well appointed, warm and comfortable. The overall standard of cleanliness in the Home is 100%. Meals are of good portion and appetising and there is always a choice of menu. My friend receives first class care and friendship from the staff. Management are always approachable. All in all Albury Care Home has a happy family atmosphere.
Albury is a very caring, professional and friendly care home. Always a warm welcome on arrival when visiting. The level of care is excellent, with nothing too much trouble. In particular, the health and well-being needs of my mother are attended to very quickly, with prompt medical assistance if required. The food is also very good. I completely recommend Albury.
Since my husband was admitted to Albury Care Home, the staff have been very kind and caring to him and myself. They are always happy and smiling, which is very uplifting!
My time (two and a half years) has been very good. I am 70 years old with lots of health problems. I am given room to be myself but care when I need it.
My dad is very happy at Albury Care Home. The staff are caring and engaging. He is treated with care and respect, and it is not just a home, but he sees it as his home where he is safe. His room is lovely and big, but he prefers to spend his time downstairs participating in the activities. We particularly like the fact that they have activities in the morning and later in the day.
It was not an easy decision to make but I'm glad I chose Albury Care Home for my husband. They are very caring and kind, and if I had a problem it has been sorted quickly and has put my mind at rest. I know he is being cared for well. My thanks go to everybody at Albury Care Home.
When entrusting my mother to Albury Care Home, I hoped to find staff who showed empathy, patience, warmth and professionalism. I found all these qualities and more. She is looked after by a very good and well-managed team of carers, and this shows in the contentment of the residents and the homely atmosphere. The staff are friendly and concerned, working hard to make life as enjoyable as possible, and my mother is reassured by all the attention she receives.
My mother is always well cared for. She has been a resident since Aug 2015 and over the years her needs have changed due to her deterioration of temperament. The Care Home has a warm and homely feel, nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
Staff always cheerful and welcoming, even without prior warning of my visit. Mum very happy and settled, and appears to be quite a character around the house seeming to have a good relationship with staff. Never mentions that she wants to go back to her previous residence, only to visit my home to see family, but after a short visit to us, requests to go back to Albury House. I know she is safe and looked after.
Although only a resident for a short time, we were delighted by the care our mother receives while at Albury Care Home. The staff were always warm, welcoming and I feel my mother was in the best place she could have been. Attention to her needs was always met and I felt she was happy to be surrounded by people to keep her occupied and engaged. Something she'd much missed before, living on her own.
My mother was a resident for 5 years and 3 months and was always very well cared for, serene, contented and happy there. She had a stroke in June 2019 aged 101 and remarkably made a partial recovery and survived until Oct 25th. During this time the family was particularly impressed with the additional care and attention received and with much affection. She was always closely monitored particularly in the final few weeks when she was on end of life care.
My father was asked to leave his last care home because he wandered at night and had a high risk of falling. Albury Care home were aware of these problems when he became a resident 12 weeks ago. The staff have worked tirelessly with him. He is far better at night and more self-assured on his feet. The staff and management are caring and supportive and extremely patient. They have encouraged independence and he is very happy there. The activities coordinator, in particular, is wonderful. It is overall, a lovely environment to live in.
Today we visited the home to see my father who seemed very happy and contented. He was telling us how he was enjoying all the activities. He was also very clean and tidy. the home was also very clean and tidy and the staff treat the residents so well. Thank you for your very hard work. Excellent.
Our step-uncle has been a resident for over four years. The home has an aura of 'homeliness' and over time the care our uncle has received has been tailored to meet his changing requirements. He has never shown any signs of stress or discomfort and, having a reasonably stable staff group, the interaction is personal, very caring and friendly.
I have always found the care home very friendly and the staff helpful. My brother is well looked after and enjoys the activities that are provided by the staff. I would highly recommend this Care Home. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped and maintained.
