View Full Details of Grace House Care Home LtdMy husband was placed here for respite care in August 2024 from the hospital. We had no chance to visit Grace House so were pleasantly surprised when we got there. It was a lovely atmosphere and very caring staff. He is happy there and interacts which he wasn't doing before.
I cannot thank everyone at Grace House Care Home enough for the care and support they gave my father during his brief stay between hospital and returning home. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done to make the transition from hospital to Grace House smooth and stress-free. My family and I are extremely grateful to you all. It was always a pleasure to visit and chat with the amazing staff, who never failed to go above and beyond.
Extremely happy with how my mum has settled in.
We, as a family, are so pleased with Grace House. Mum has settled in well and has made friends. The management and caring team seem very invested and caring.
What a lovely place Grace House is. My mother is a resident and it's such a relief to know she is settled and happy. The staff are so kind and helpful and she absolutely loves the food. So thank you all, much appreciated. The love and warmth I feel and see every time I visit is wonderful.
Have visited a family member several times. He always appears well cared for by friendly and efficient staff.
When I go to visit my relative, I feel so welcome. Grace House is like a family, a second home. Staff are kind, caring and compassionate. Great management, all queries are dealt with efficiently. Fantastic home for my relative, would not go elsewhere.
I felt really welcomed at Grace House and put at ease, treated as an individual rather than a patient, encouraged to do all I could but supported and helped along the way. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly.
My mother has been in this care home for a year now and although she has found it hard to find herself in a home, she is comfortable. She always looks clean and well cared for. The rooms are adequate, but always clean and tidy. Most of the staff are friendly and very helpful and try to make it more of a family environment for their residents.
I cannot praise Grace House enough. From their kind and gentle initial assessment in my home to welcoming my Mother on her first day with a comfortable and cosy room by calm, smiling and happy staff. Delicious food. Constant activities with much laughter. There is genuine concern and care for each resident. I too have felt supported in the difficult decision to relinquish care. I can visit at any time but have occasionally arrived only to find that she has been taken out to the pub! I can also bring my little dog to visit. I feel truly grateful to have found Grace House.
A very homely care home. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The staff made you feel like you were part of their family, not experienced in other care homes.
Fantastic caring staff, doing all they can to give residents real quality of life.
The staff are without doubt the stars here. They all do everything they can for my mother. I am so grateful. My mother arrived last summer and it makes the biggest difference to all of us to have her cared for in Grace House Care Home. The home is small and they care about everyone.
My mum has been at Grace House for about two years. She has really got so much better, physically and mentally, while being there. The staff are absolutely lovely. I cannot fault any of them, always welcoming, always kind and they go out of their way to do extra things for the residents and welcome visitors, even though they are busy. Staff seem to stay a long time, which I believe shows good management and working relationships and a good atmosphere all round. It was very difficult for everyone during Covid, but they got through it, by managing the staff sickness and rules to keep residents safe. Thank you.
My Mother-in-law became a resident recently with Grace house. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere and is very much, home from home. The staff are all very friendly and the support and care they give to all residents is over and above. The food is of great choice and there is a varied menu. The home is clean and comfortable and you are always greeted with a warm welcome and a cup of tea. I feel assured, I have made the right choice, in Grace house, with the fact my mother-in-law will have the best care that she needs. There is also a variety of activities and trips out to local places and the pub!
My father has settled in well to Grace House. This is thanks to the manager and staff who are very caring. The cook has asked and prepared food my father said he'd like as his appetite has been challenging. When I go to visit it really seems like a home from home.
The staff and management are extremely helpful. My aunt is very happy at Grace House.
Grace House is a friendly, caring home. My mother has been well cared for and she is happy there.
Always very professional, caring and thoughtful. Nothing is too much of a problem. Do feel could benefit from more staff, like all businesses, definitely understaffed.
In general, this is a very 'sweet' care home. I think the small number of residents keeps it more personal. Difficult to review fully when my mother is now beyond being able to speak, walk or function as before. I did mention her hair which looked awful, but I appreciate it's hard, but was pleased to see she seemed clean with a nice supper.
