View Full Details of Coast Care CentreThis is the second stay I have had at Coast Care and again it was a lovely stay. The staff and the support they provide is exceptional. As a 23-year-old, it is always hard accepting care, especially having to go somewhere for a respite stay, however, the staff and management, they are all so welcoming. The care and support the carers provide is great and they are always attentive to my needs, including being gentle when they can sense I am in pain. Shoutout to two staff members for always having a laugh and really understanding my care. I would recommend Coast Care to anyone.
My mother was with you for approximately four weeks and was treated with care and dignity. She came to you straight from hospital and was very nervous. She was treated very well.
Mum is very happy here. She always looks clean and cheerful. The food is very good. All the staff are delightful and there is always something going on.
This care home is fantastic, pleased my mum was allocated a space here from when she was discharged from hospital. Quality of care is fantastic, fully engaging with staff to clients' needs very friendly. Always friendly with visitors, offer tea or coffee every visit. Easy to talk to and express concerns. Sadly my mum has to leave this place due to permanent care home, she loves all the staff.
My mum was with the home for six months between hospital and moving to a permanent home a bit closer to her actual abode. Our family was so impressed with the attentive care she received and so grateful. The team members are incredibly caring and cheery - the atmosphere this creates was ever-evident. This was coupled with such great expertise, skill and kindness in their approach. A brilliant team and wonderful individual staff. Thank you so much! Also, thank you for looking after visitors so well. We had to travel in from different places, usually by public transport. Thank you for offering cups of tea. You're all wonderful.
Can't fault this home. My dad is a resident now after his dementia got too much for my mum to cope with. He is very comfortable, happy and very content. The staff are very friendly and helpful and truly care for everyone in every way. Very happy for my dad to be here. Thanks to everyone.
Amazing staff, they look after my mum who has Alzheimer's. She's been there 2 years now. We always get an amazing welcome from the staff. They not only help the residents but myself as well. I was ready to walk away from her last year until I spoke to the support manager she suggested some things and they worked. She has helped me come to terms with losing mum to home so quickly. It's like a big family there including us. Can't thank them enough.
My dad had been here since September 2022. I have found all the staff to be caring, conscientious and friendly. Dad has settled in well and is happy. I feel confident that he is receiving excellent care, physically and emotionally.
As my husband is bedbound, there are no activities provided.
My elderly friend came into the home in March 2021 after a stroke and dementia and steadily went downhill until she passed away in December, but the staff really looked after her and always spoke well of my friend and she thought the world of all the staff and often told me how kind they were to her. The home always kept me informed of any changes to her health and all the staff were very friendly towards me and whenever I visited I was always offered a cup of tea and I always felt relaxed when visiting, when signing in at reception there was always a warm welcome and always had a good natter with the receptionist who I mainly saw. All in all, the home was very clean and the staff very respectful and professional, the manager was always on hand and so was his right-hand lady, and there was a young carer who often had some advice for me as I found the dementia was quite hard to get my head around, so thank you to the carer. I would like to express my thanks to all the staff and highly recommend Coast Care Centre.
I cannot express how happy myself and the family are with my sister's care at your home. My sister is so happy here, all the staff I've met are kind and caring, nothing seems too much trouble for them. She has a room with a real window that can be opened and she looks out at lovely trees, a real joy. I feel very lucky she has been sent to Coast Care Centre. Thank you.
The friendly and happy atmosphere at Coast Care Centre is immediately obvious when you walk through the door and is consistently of a very high standard. My son arrived at Coast Care Centre on July 1st 2021 and I have been nothing but highly satisfied with the way in which he has been treated. Nothing is too much trouble and all staff go out of their way to make him comfortable and valued. Communication is excellent on all levels and I feel my son is cared for, safe and supported in every way.
I love it here as everyone is so helpful and cheerful.
My mother arrived at Bexhill Coast Care Centre following a 10-day spell in hospital and is now a permanent resident of the home. We have found the staff to be caring, patient, humorous and efficient on both the telephone and in person. There is a cheerful atmosphere in the home and the common areas are bright and comfortable. My mother likes her room and the staff have been very accommodating in allowing her to fill it with personal items. She enjoys the communal area and the staff make a huge effort with daily activities - this has been so important during the lockdown. They have also arranged good hairdressing and chiropody services.
My mother in law was in Coast Care Centre for 6 weeks after she had a fall. The care my mother in law received was outstanding. All staff were very caring and helpful. I called regularly to check my mother in law was okay and was always reassured. I can’t thank you enough for the care you gave my mother in law. My mother in law hasn’t been very well recently, but thanks to your care I feel like we have our Mum back! My mother in law is now in one of their sister homes and is still very happy!
My husband was in another coast care home but went into hospital following a fall downstairs. Because he was bedridden he had to go elsewhere but hospital discharge would have been anywhere. I was so pleased Coast Care intervened and got him to Bexhill Care Centre first. Advanced Alzheimer's meant no speech but they have worked out his preferences food, drink and music, also now he's up and about a bit with a simmer and very happy. They are such friendly and dedicated staff. Even with redecorating going on, they keep everyone happy.
The general care by support workers and young support workers was wonderful. Caring, considerate and kind. Thank you so very much. My mum returned almost to her former self after a period of delirium. They managed to balance her medication and look after her so well during Coivd, and for a lady with complex care needs. Difficult to assess every aspect as Covid prevented, so review just for telephone calls and window waving.
