This care home looked after my father for a number of months. Staff were always courteous and attentive. Lovely atmosphere and could not recommend this care home enough. Lovely gardens and ample parking.

My mother stayed at Felix Holme for 3 weeks as respite care after an operation and a slow recovery. She was always treated with kindness, respect, humour and interest by all the staff we met. This home is a very well-managed place with an emphasis on warmth and building personal relationships and confidence. I would highly recommend it and it's team of staff.

My mother initially was admitted to Felix Holme after an 11 week hospital stay. The hope was she would be able to return home but it was obvious that this would not be possible. The staff at Felix Holme managed the change and disappointment very well. We have been encouraging her to make cards and these are being used throughout the home. Mother is difficult with food and has 'special needs' most days. hen she was discharged from hospital she had a sacral sore which is now healed after excellent care. The home is relaxed and welcoming to the family.

Felix Holme is very friendly, clean and happy place for my mother to live in. Nothing is too much for them. My mother is very happy here which makes the rest if the family happy.

I love it here. All the staff are very kind and friendly. Everyone is very happy and will do anything for you. (Hope to have bigger room).

Overall good, compared to places I have seen. Some staff are more helpful than others but on the whole, they are very good. Food is variable - not to my taste.

The staff at Felix House have been outstanding every time I have visited. They can't do enough for you. I would and do recommend Felix House.

Felix Holme, including all its staff and its owners who are the onsite management, provide an excellent service. They really go to great lengths to ensure that the residents are well cared for. They are careful to avoid undermining their residents' dignity. I think that the fact that it is a relatively small home helps with this. All the staff take time and trouble to understand and cater to residents' needs with outstanding patience, optimism and sheer humanity, which I find quite humbling.

During my 3 years stay at Felix Holme, I have found no cause for complaint about the care, staff and overall general ambience. I have received every consideration regarding my comfort and well-being and cannot suggest any further improvement as being necessary.

My Mum joined Felix Holme in February 2010 at a very sad and tricky time of her life and about the last thing she wanted was to be placed in a care home. I felt very concerned about her. However amazingly she began to accept where she was and her mental state improved significantly. It began to dawn on me that Felix Holme was the right choice for her. (It had been recommended by a social worker when she was in the hospital.) Throughout her time there I always felt that all of the staff dealt with her diligently and professionally; also I always found the staff to be welcoming and approachable. All in all my mum was in Felix Holme for nearly 6 and a half years - I couldn't have wished for a better care home - 5 stars!

This is the second stay at Felix Holme for my Dear Mother. She is very happy there and very well looked after. In my experience of care work and residential and care homes I would be more than happy to recommend this home to anyone. It is calm with lovely surroundings, the staff are Excellent nothing is too much trouble. I could not be more at rest knowing that my Mum is in good hands and happy. She adores all the staff and surroundings and enjoys chatting to the residents. Thank you all at Felix Holme.
