View Full Details of Lime Tree HouseI am very happy with Lime Tree House. The staff have all been amazing and have encouraged mum to join in some of the very varied activities. Movement and meditation a particular favourite. The home is light and bright and the food excellent.
I am extremely happy with Lime Tree House and the staff are all amazing. My mum is very happy here and really enjoys living here at her home There are always activities to do here. Lime Tree House is run extremely well.
Care has been excellent in general. The food is good and the care is very good. There have been one or two management issues which have been resolved. There are a good range of activities and staff are keen to get residents involved. The room is comfortable and kept warm with good views and lighting. The are some good meeting rooms as well.
After many years living at Lime Tree House, my 97-year-old mother is now becoming more frail and in need of more and more attendance. The excellent care they provided in the past has now been extended, always with the same gentleness, kindness and respect for my mum. She still knows many of the staff, trusts them and thanks them when they help her.
Mum was welcomed. All equipment she required was provided and installed promptly. The ambiance and decor was of a high standard. The staff looked smart, were professional and caring. Making Mum feel one of the family. The food was of a high standard, well presented and if there was nothing she liked, they would do her something separate. She felt safe. Staff were always walking by her room and all staff interacted with her. The room was clean and cleaning staff were helpful and again chatted to her. She enjoyed her experience as a respite and we have no concerns for her to return as respite or long-term care.
From the moment you walk in, it is completely cosy. Beautifully decorated - okay, nothing to do with care, but important to be surrounded by. All the carers know my name and who I am visiting, and they all have a smile; even the odd job man makes us laugh. My friend is very happy there. I would recommend it to anyone.
Lovely staff, all very caring and easy to speak to. Variety of activities offered by the wonderful well-being/activity coordinators. They gave Nana a lovely birthday surprise with cake and personal gifts. Home-cooked food - the home even put on a special afternoon tea for my grandparent's wedding anniversary last summer! Rooms are all welcoming and easily personalised. What a lovely place to stay!
A very caring place who does listen when I speak (and they act!) Mum is mostly happy there - as long as she's having a good day, of course. Activities are good and well run. Quite happy leaving Mum in their care.
The staff are caring, friendly and do a good job. My mum always says she is well looked after. The facilities are clean and spacious. I do have one concern - why is there such a big turnover of managers? Are there problems with their working conditions or pay? Do they get enough support from the owners?
My uncle chose this wonderful homely residential care home after we had received an in-depth tour from the manager, who spent time answering all our natural concerns for him to transfer from independent living to a home filled with other residents, of all capabilities. We were impressed with what we were shown and grateful for the speedy transfer. My uncle has taken a few weeks to settle in but overall is feeling secure and well cared for, he loves the fact that we as his family are able to drop by unannounced to visit him. The staff are kind, and caring and always acknowledge us whenever we call by. The home is spoilt less and has a feeling of homely things around. The activity team are great, thinking up different things for the residents to take part in daily should they wish. I love to follow all the fun activities on social media.
There was a warm welcome for our mum when she arrived at Lime Tree care home in March 2023. Her previous residence had left her in poor health and the family were becoming concerned. Given a beautiful sunny room, surrounded by personal items, enjoyed good home-cooked food and received love and care from all who met her. The staff were diligent with her physical and mental needs and she soon became stronger and was encouraged to take part in the many activities that the home offered. Family and friends were always made to feel welcome when visiting, and communication by phone, email and social media was regular. The manager and staff helped our parents celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a splendid cream tea. Six months on, with Mum's health restored, she has left Lime Tree and returned to the family home. Massive thanks.
I am very happy with the care my mother receives at Lime Tree House. The staff are wonderful and have a really good rapport with Mum. The home is comfortable, clean and homely and the food is very good. I am kept up to date with all aspects of Mum's care which gives me confidence that she is in the right place.
My mother has settled in very well into the home. The help and care she receives is excellent and there is a very pleasant inclusive communial atmosphere. The staff are all very committed and helpful.
My uncle had some respite care at Lime Tree House about three years ago. Last Christmas he returned for full-time care and was remembered by the staff, who understand his individual ways and needs. The management team are always there to discuss his present and future care. I'm happy he is in a safe caring environment.
My friend has been very happy living at Limetrees since she had to leave her home to live in a care home. The staff are friendly and kind and she is well looked after. The food is excellent. My friend enjoys the entertainment.
My friend has been a resident for ten months. Her room is newly decorated and she was allowed to bring her personal belongings and her furniture. All the office staff and carers have been very caring and friendly and have been very welcoming to me. The social media page is brilliant so I can see my friend enjoying herself with activities and special events which means if I can't get in when I phone I know what to talk about. My friend is very happy at Lime Tree it did take a her a few months for her to settle. The only criticism I would say is an email or text or a note on social media if the home is closed due to covid or sickness.
The management and staff were very accommodating to organise emergency, short stay. Communication and updates were easy to access. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and bright.
My mother has been living at Lime Tree House for over three years now, and has been looked after very well. She likes lots of company and would have been very lonely living in her previous flat if she had been able to stay there. The staff have been friendly and caring and worked very hard during the pandemic, for which we are most grateful. The residents were well catered for and entertained at Christmas, and my mother was happy to be there.
My mother has been a resident at Limetree House for nearly five years now. In this time her health has gone through various difficult times. The care from the staff at Limetree has been so wonderful. Always given with such love and care. They have kept me aware of all my mother's issues and gone out of their way to be helpful and make life good for her. There are interesting and varied activities for the residents to do and my mother is looking forward to being able to sit in the garden when the weather gets a little warmer Throughout the covid situation, the staff kept the home as safe as possible with care and attention to testing and monitoring. When it became possible to resume opening to visitors we were made to feel welcome and communication between residents, staff, and relatives is good. There is a good sense of community in the home.
Our mother has now been at Lime Tree for almost six months following an initial short period of respite care. Her physical health is relatively good but suffers from Alzheimer's causing great problems with her memory along with a lot of confusion. All the staff at Lime Tree are incredibly kind and caring towards her and we are kept well informed if any problems arise. They have gone out of their way to ensure she remains safe and encourage us to make her room homely When we visit, she will always say how lucky she is and how lovely the staff are. They have a good activities program to cater for multiple tastes, which residents can join in with if they wish. We have also found the staff to be very friendly towards us and very approachable if we have any concerns.
