View Full Details of Church Farm Care HomeMy parents have been staying at Church Farm Care home the past 18 months. They are really well cared for and the whole team are genuinely warm and caring. We recently visited and they had organised a party for my Mums 80th - with a a beautifully decorated lunch table, cake & live entertainment. We had such a lovely day and Mum was thrilled. They really are such a lovely team!
Mum said, 'They look after me very well here.' You cannot ask for more than that.
People are always happy and caring. Garden is beautiful to look at.
My friend has been a resident for some time and developing dementia. The staff are so patient and helpful. They always follow through any concerns I or her family raise. This is vital with a person of this difficult disposition.
My mother passed away recently and was given outstanding care, love, and kindness every day (and throughout her wandering nights!) for over 5 years. All of the staff worked to ensure that her last years, months, days, hours, and minutes were happy and filled with life, love, activity, and laughter. Our memories of Mum's time at Church Farm Care Home are happy ones - the games, activities, and parties, the celebration of occasions great and small, the care taken to keep Mum well turned out in freshly laundered clothes, the hairdressing and nails, the wonderful tea and coffee breaks and the delicious food and drinks. Not even a luxury cruise liner could compete with the quality and variety of Church Farm Care Home fare! The gardens and buildings are cared for with the same love and attention to detail by special members of the team, who go out of their way to keep up the spirits of residents, staff, and visitors alike. Thank you all for making us so welcome and for transforming Mum's final years.
If you are after care, comfort and good food look no further. Excellent in every way, except there was no view of the sea. I will go back happily if need be.
I can not sing the praises enough for all the staff at Church Farm Care Home. They are absolutely wonderful and to know my mother is being well looked after is very comforting to me as I live many miles away. Today all the staff laid on a fantastic celebration for my mother's 90th. I can not thank them enough. It was so heartwarming. I joined for lunch, which was superb. and then they had a lovely singer and baked a beautiful Birthday Cake to celebrate this special occasion with. Thank you Church Farm.
I think this is a lovely care home and my family member is getting on very well. We are all glad you are able to have her.
Initial enquiry and visit with a view to my mum moving in permanently was extremely positive. Nothing was hurried and no question left unanswered. Mum moved into a lovely room on 1st November and couldn't have been more welcomed. She said she felt like a 'very important person'. Having lived alone and being fiercely independent, I worried she would find things difficult, but, although early days, she seems to have settled well and is happy. Most important to me is that she is safe and happy.
My aunt has been a resident of Church Farm Care Home since September 2023 and is extremely happy there. The staff are very friendly and the care is exceptional. Also, the meals always look nutritious and appetising. Every time I visit there always seems to be something going on for the client's well-being and entertainment and there is no pressure, she is able to decide whether she takes part or not. In my experience of visiting friends and relatives in care homes Church Farm certainly rates very highly.
Church Farm BUPA Care Home in East Witterings is a fantastic place to stay. My mum was very frail and lived alone but when she arrived there as a resident, within a few months she is a different person. She always looks happy, relaxed and confident now. The staff are all superb and go the extra mile to make each day special. The staff work so hard and are always good-natured. I can’t thank the staff enough for their care. My mum also loves the food provided. She also looks forward to the entertainment and activities each day. Thank you so much Church Farm.
As much as I would prefer our mother to be back in her own home, the care she receives at Church Farm has never disappointed, and the staff, front desk and management all work well to provide feedback and assist in our efforts to communicate - especially important given that her children all live in different countries so cannot visit frequently.
The staff always make me welcome and are friendly. A smiley caring bunch of people. The outside space is well presented with comfortable seating and well-kept gardens. Plenty of parking as well as a welcoming foyer. Staff always available to discuss your relative and put your mind at rest over any concerns you may have.
My Father has been in Church Farm for a couple of months now, the lady who showed us around and who was covering in management's absence was so very helpful, she took her time to explain how everything worked. The home had such a lovely feel about it, all the staff were friendly, Dad settled in quickly, he has a nice room with patio doors looking out. The food is good which puts a smile on dads face, having the dogs and cats on site is very therapeutic. When we visit Dad the staff are very kind to give us a tea tray to enjoy with him, there are always lots of activities on or planned. It is quite a big home and you can see the staff work very hard, we have had a few teething problems with communications but once again the lady filling in has helped with everything and I feel I can approach her if I need to check anything. Dad enjoys going outside in the gardens, which are kept lovely for the residents to enjoy. A very nice care home.
We visited my mother on Sunday and had a lovely visit. We received an email the week before inviting us to join her for Sunday lunch which was a great idea. When we arrived, my mother was really happy and enthusiastic about her new surroundings, she has been at Church Farm Care Home for four weeks. Her dog is also a resident and to our surprise was also very content. The lunch was lovely, all staff are very friendly and the dining room was set with coronation decorations. We can’t thank everyone enough for the effort they have taken to make my mother (and her dog) feel welcome. It is a great relief to see her so content. Thank you all.
The initial visit to check home was positive as was the occasion when we went to put resident's personal items in the room. Generally speaking, the staff are friendly. I have however been very disappointed that after nearly two weeks, my friend still has had no bath or shower. Having been in the hospital for several weeks prior to moving into the home with no bath, shower or hair wash, I had expected that that would have been a priority. Sadly, this has not been the case. Having visited twice this week, I noticed that my friend’s room had not been vacuumed, again, very disappointing. The standards I was expecting to see, have not been there.
I would like to thank everybody who has helped to look after my father. You are an amazing team who have made us feel so welcome. Nothing is too much trouble, even though you have lots of residents who also need your attention. My father has settled in well. He is engaging with other residents and staff. He seems happy and has put on weight which is a good thing as he looked so frail after his stroke and weeks of being in hospital. We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter lunch on Sunday and Elvis yesterday. It is a massive relief seeing my father getting the care he has needed for a few years, to be honest even before the stroke it was getting harder for us all to meet his needs. Again, we would like to thank you all so much for caring. You are all an amazing team.
My daughter-in-law and myself joined my cousin and staff for Easter Sunday lunch. It was an absolute joy, the dining room was so beautifully decorated and the staff were fantastic. Lunch was so good, far better than I have had in many a restaurant. It was delicious. I cannot speak highly enough of the standard of care the residents receive and to see my cousin so well and happy is all I could wish for. Thank you all so very much.
Since the day my grandad came into the home, the staff have been absolutely brilliant, not only making my grandad feel welcome and like he's at home, they make us, the family, feel so welcome, nothing is ever enough for them. The fact I can take my children to see their great-grandad is brilliant and the staff have been brilliant with them too. fabulous care home! Thank you for making a horrible situation into something the whole family now feel comfortable and at ease with.
Mum has been at the home for around five years now. Mum is well looked after and has formed a good relationship with her carers. She describes that the food is really good, however, she feels there is too much of it! She spends a lot of time in her room, which she prefers. However, she can access the living rooms when she wishes to give her time out of her room with other residents and can join in activities. She enjoys the fact that Poppy, the dog, spends time in her room along with the black and white cat. She loves animals and this brings her much pleasure and company. There are some minor bits of maintenance to complete in her room, which I am sure will be completed. Mum loves her room as she can see people come and go and feels that she is in the heart of the home rather than being tucked away. Thank you for the care she is given.
