Would just like to thank all the staff for looking after my uncle. They go above and beyond so thanks to all the staff at Deerswood Care Home he is well looked after and very content.

My mum came to Deerswood care home in late November. The staff and carers were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, my mum was only there for a short time (February) when she passed away. I can't praise the carers enough for all the support and care they gave my mum. This care home is one in a million, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a home for their parents. Thank you again for the care you gave my mum.

Our mother lived at Deerswood for 3 years and passed away last November. We were very happy with the care given to her and she seemed content and happy during her stay. We were particularly pleased with the palliative care she received during her last weeks; we were consoled knowing she was loved and cared for at all times.

Since my sister has been a resident she has received excellent care and there is a noticeable difference in her happiness. I would like to thank all the staff who look after her and have been there throughout.

Excellent, I am so happy to be here. I am treated very well and really happy with the care home. I always get lovely food that's always nice and hot. The staff are so helpful and care for me and are always there to help. The home is just so clean and tidy always cleaned on a daily basis. Thank you so much to all the staff and a big thank you to management for running a great home.

The care is good here it's unbelievable. My brother-in-law is so happy he is at Deerswood Lodge. The staff are so caring and looking after all the residents. The home is kept so clean and tidy and is run professionally. A bit thank you to the manager and all her staff at Deerswood Lodge. My brother-in-law is always laughing or giggling to himself.

The care my brother gets is very good and very professional. The home is kept so clean and the food very good and so fresh always. The staff are so kind and very caring and so helpful. It's so helpful to me to know my brother is so safe and well looked after. Thank you so much to Deerswood Lodge and a big thank you to the manager who always keeps me included. A well-run home.

My mum has been a resident at Deerswood for a few months. From the very start, they made her feel welcome and have been extremely caring with her dementia needs. She settled really well and enjoys the variety of activities, especially music and dancing. It's very reassuring to myself and all our family that she is well cared for and feels at home. Thank you to everyone at Deerswood for all that you do for her.

Mum has only been in a short time at Deerswood Lodge. They have been kind and understanding as very unhappy to be in a home, with helping her settle in. Most of her family live abroad and have recently all been over to visit her and are very impressed with everything done for her in the home. She is not a very sociable person but they help her to join in activities. A very good team. Keep up the good work.

I am 100% happy to be living here. It is honestly first class. The staff are all great. If you want anything just ask and they will get it for you. I believe the food to be excellent no complaints at all. The entertainment is all great. I always make sure to check the schedule and attend.

Well from the first day my mum came in, I felt this would be the right place for her. The staff and carers are exceptional, very attentive and responsive to everything my mum needed. There is a warmth about this home that makes all my family and myself feel confident she is in the right place. Well done to each and every one of you for doing a great job day in and day out. My mother moved to Deerswood Lodge in early May 2024. The staff and everybody involved have been fantastic. Mum has mobility issues and has always been treated with kindness and consideration. She settled very quickly and enjoyed her surroundings. It's never easy placing your loved ones in a care home, but I would highly recommend Deerswood. Thank you to everyone there for making it a happy and great place to be.

My mother spent the last 2 years of her life at Deerswood. She was in the downstairs dementia care section. All the staff have treated my mother with dignity and have been very kind and considerate to her. I would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff. For her 102nd birthday, we were allowed a private room so we could have a big celebration party with her and all her close family. In addition, I would like to say how clean and well-looked-after the lodge is. In her last few days, the staff were very supportive and compassionate. Thank you so much. I have no hesitation in recommending Deerswood Lodge.

Deerswood Lodge is always clean, tidy and well-maintained. The facilities including care, happiness rooms and beautiful gardens create relaxed and uplighting surroundings for residents. As visitors, we always receive a warm welcome. The menu is varied and my father enjoys his meals. The staff are kind and attentive to my father's needs. There is always something interesting happening activity-wise, which ensures he is kept active and mentally stimulated.

I have been here a few months now and the care and support I have received is fantastic. I have been going through a difficult time and I am facing radiotherapy and it is good to know that people genuinely care. There are good activities I enjoy the quizzes. Staff from management to cleaners are all lovely and nothing is too much. I feel very lucky to be here. All the staff should be proud of themselves.

My father-in-law is a resident at Deerswood Lodge, I can't speak highly enough of the care he receives and the kindness shown to him he lives in a lovely environment which is bright and warm, my father-in-law has quite high needs and the staff know what he likes and how he likes to be cared for. As a family, we receive good communication from the home and this is very reassuring to us all. We would just like to thank all the staff and the managers for all their care and kindness.

I am beyond happy for my brother-in-law, who moved into Deerswood Lodge early in February. His room is very spacious with a great wet room. The staff are all amazing, they interact with the residents all the time. They are very friendly to the family when we visit, nothing is too much trouble. I have noticed a real difference in my brother-in-law since he has been there. He is happy, he engages more and always looks very well-groomed, not to mention how his mobility has improved in the time he has been there. Deerswood really has a vibe about it, from the nicely decorated welcoming entrance hall with coffee shop to Jimmy the Parrot greeting you with a whistle upstairs, and not to mention the fantastic cinema room complete with 85-inch TV. You can tell all the residents are very well cared for, everyone has a smile on their faces and are willing to stop and have a little chat with you. The whole place is very clean and looked after, I would not hesitate in recommending Deerswood Lodge.

My Brother moved into Deerswood Lodge on 9th February, I can honestly say this home is amazing. The management and staff are so supportive of the resident and their family, too. You feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door. My brother absolutely loves living there, he has adapted to his surroundings very quickly and has befriended all the other residents in his unit. My brother is supported, encouraged and very well cared for by all the staff. His mobility issues have improved 100% since he moved in and his anxieties have gone! There are lots of activities going on each day. The whole place is absolutely spotless and nicely decorated, it's a pleasure going to visit my brother. The rooms and bathrooms are big and nicely decorated, my brother was able to bring lots of his personal belongings and furniture. The meals are of great quality, with a good choice and plentiful. I can now rest knowing my brother is in good hands and is finally being given the care he so rightly deserves.
