View Full Details of Rosedale Care HomeMy mum has recently moved into Rosedale, the care is fabulous and the food according to my mum is good. I,ve noticed how clean it always is, her room is excellent with fresh bedding and pyjamas consistently. It never smells, unlike some other care homes I,ve visited and always lovely and warm, it has recently been painted all through. The management are easy to talk to, one member of staff in particular being especially kind and empathetic with down to earth experience. It,s nice to know my mum is safe and well looked after.
Rosedale looked after my elderly mother for 10 days to provide some respite care after she had a couple of falls. She was well-cared for and happy at Rosedale. The staff all seemed very friendly and helpful.
Found it to be a very homely place and very friendly staff.
When my mum needed more care than my dad could give her, we chose Rosedale because of its small size, which is ideal for her, it has a real family vibe, homely atmosphere, caring staff, the fun-loving manager - all make it a perfect choice.
Mum went into Rosedale early January 24 and has been very welcomed by both staff and manager. Mum is settling well and is doing so much better. It's such a homely, friendly place. The staff have been there a long time, so they get to know the needs of their residents. Everyone is brilliant in looking after Mum, making sure all her needs are met - she has now put on weight and joins in with the activities. She enjoys the company of the other residents, and she is now embracing care home life. We are made to feel very welcomed and are kept informed on a daily apt to do with Mum. So happy we found Rosedale.
My nan is so well cared for and so, so happy at Rosedale Care Home. As a visitor I am always made welcome.
I could not ask for my nan to live and be cared for so well as she is at Rosedale. It does not matter when or what time I visit I am made welcome by the staff. I can witness first-hand the love and care my nan gets.
I am so happy my mum is at Rosedale. From the first day I visited to look round, I knew this was the place for my mum to live. The homely atmosphere, the caring staff, the fun-loving manager - all make it a happy place to be. I enjoy visiting my mum because I can see how happy she and all the other residents are.
Visiting a friend. Made to feel very welcome, offered tea and biscuits on arrival. Very pleasant surroundings and friendly staff.
On my last and previous visits, I found a very happy and comfortable atmosphere in the home. My friend said the food was good and she was looked after well.
It is always lovely to visit Nan. She is so much happier here, with access to the garden where she can sit and relax. Now she has her cast off, they are encouraging her to move about as much as she can. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Nan especially likes the manager, who seems to have a great connection with Nan. They are always bubbly, friendly and going the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable (i.e. padding Nan's bed so her arms don't get trapped).
My mother has been living at Rosedale now for a couple of months and loves it. My sister and I viewed a lot of homes and chose Rosedale because when we entered, we immediately felt at home. The house is spotless and the staff cannot do enough for her. Mum loves the food and has gained weight since she has been there. Best choice we ever made. Absolutely no regrets. Mother is happy and safe, which was our first concern.
We were very worried about Mum going into a care home, we had looked at a few that we weren't happy with. But Rosedale, though a little tired in places, ticked all of the boxes. The staff are lovely and it is homely. Mum has settled in very well and is happy here. She loves sitting in the garden and she thinks the food is fantastic. Would highly recommend.
Very friendly caring people. My nan is well cared for and very happy. It’s a family atmosphere, not like a home at all! Staff are friendly, it’s clean and has a welcoming feel to it A very nice place with very lovely staff. They are always there to help.
I visit a friend at Rosedale regularly and find it a very warm and friendly place to visit. The staff and management are welcoming and my friend living at the home is well cared for, comfortable and happy.
Pleasantly surprised and delighted with the service and care being provided. Had favourable references from a general practitioner friend about this facility. No complaints.
My great-nan is a resident at this care home, she is incredibly happy here. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and create a warm, homely environment for residents and visitors. My nan enjoys the food as well.
I have visited my previous neighbour on a few occasions and have found the staff members to be very caring and friendly. The care home is not too big a premises, in order to be able to give the necessary care and attention to all its residents. Staff and manager are very friendly. I haven't experienced the activities and haven't been there at meal times. I understand they have a chef for cooking the food. I do feel the premises does need a little updating of the resident's rooms.
I visit Rosedale on a weekly basis to see a friend. Rosedale are always kind when I arrive. I have observed the compassion and empathy towards the residents from the staff and management team. All the residents are always clean and tidy, happy and well cared for. This care home is first class and we are lucky to have this little family-orientated place in Horsham.
My dear friend became a resident of Rosedale in October 21, choosing to spend her final days in her room, where she enjoyed her views of the garden from her bedroom window. She appreciated all her wholesome meals, which were always brought to her by the lovely staff who became like family to her. They always made time to listen to her life stories as well as gently tend to her physical needs. When my friend began to decline in her final weeks of life, the staff regularly monitored her, so it was comforting to know a lovely staff member was holding her hand when she died in February 2023. The manager was exemplary in communicating with her friends as well as in his care and concern for residents.
