Exceptional care home. Cleanliness 5-star. Care of residence 5-star. Good hygiene 5-star. Every member of staff takes care of each member of their every need, nothing is too much. They even have an entertainment team which has many many shows, singers, pantomimes and even the zoo visits the home with very many different animals. They have a chef and yes the food is great too.

My mother has had vascular dementia since 2019. In October 2023, she moved into Greensleeves Care Home. Although she has only been in their care for less than one year, I have been very impressed by the high standard of care provided to my mother. The staff are all friendly and helpful and I know Mum enjoyed the activities in the earlier part of her stay. Her dementia got worse in the last month but the staff provided care and support until her death.

Best decision we made bringing Mum to Greensleeves. It was a long tough decision but we have watched Mum grow in health and happiness. The care, activities, mental health, staff, food, management and communication has been top draw. Anyone reading this review before making a decision to have a relative come to Greensleeves, do it with confidence that they will be cared for to the highest possible. Although Mum's dementia is declining her health and wellbeing are as high as we could hope for.

Greensleeves is a fantastic care home. The staff are lovely and there are always so many activities going on, including monthly themed events. Mum settled in here without any difficulties and has been very settled and happy ever since. Cannot recommend highly enough.

It’s been a difficult transition for Mum to move into care. Greensleeves is such a homely welcoming home. The staff have been wonderful doing everything they can for the family and Mum to make this difficult time be as smooth as possible. We are very grateful for all they do.

My mother was a Resident at Greensleeves for over 4 years until dementia took her life recently. During her stay at Greensleeves, I observed excellent care and very caring staff. The numerous activities organised by staff are fun and have included flower arranging, colouring, live music, bingo (I often joined in during visits), musical shows and visits from animals that can be petted. There are many smiling faces around the home, both, the residents and the staff that care for them. Where minor problems have arisen the home has engaged with the family and resolved the problem immediately (i.e. care plan amendments following illness requiring hospital treatment). All staff are friendly and approachable and I cannot thank them enough for what they did for my mum. I know her death was taken hard by many in the home. Mum is very well cared for at Greensleeves. The staff are fantastic and genuinely care for the residents. Mum has dementia and needs to do activities that stimulate her brain and these needs are provided for, she also loves the animals, dogs, llamas etc., when they visit.

During the past ten years, I have visited many care homes with and for friends and relatives, but Greensleeves really is the best. With a very happy, family feel and excellent, caring staff. I have lunch three times a week. Having cared for my sister for years I was very upset of her having to go into care, but after seeing her so safe and happy and well cared for I have no worries and cannot express in words how much I enjoy my visits. Amazing.

Mum has been a care home resident since February 2023. The staff are exceptional; helping myself, my family (and Mum) through this challenging adjustment. She is happy, healthy and looks on the staff as friends. And the chef is brilliant; very friendly and the food quality and variety is exceptional. The planned activities and entertainment is amazing and the dining room is themed on a regular basis stimulating the residents. Mum couldn't be in a better caring environment.

My mother is a resident at Greensleeves Care Home and I have only the highest praise for the care she receives on a daily basis from the home. The staff are very caring and also very attentive. It gives me great satisfaction to know my mother is being looked after so well and I would like to say a big thank you to all at Greensleeves for doing a fantastic job.

My mum has been at Greensleeves for approx two years and has been very well cared for. She can be challenging at times and all the staff here are amazing with her. She is always clean and so is her room. When visiting, I am made to feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble.

I could not be happier with the care, love, and respect that is shown to my mum since she became a resident at Greensleeves Care Home. As soon as you walk into the home you can tell it is a happy environment. I am so impressed with the engagement between the staff and my mum. You can tell they are genuinely interested in her well-being and welfare. The food is first class, freshly cooked, and offered with two choices. The entertainment is fabulous and you are encouraged to come along to make new and happy memories with your loved one. Mum is settled, safe and happy, that is all I could ask for from a nursing home. Thank you!

Greensleeves Care Home is such a happy place. When the front doors open you are always greeted with a smiling face and as you go through the staff always say hello. The way the residents and my mother are cared for is so nice to see. Mum is enjoying the entertainment she needs a bit of persuading but with the patience of the staff, she does enjoy it as the photos that go online prove she's having a good time. We are just happy to know she is safe and well cared for, thank you.

My mother has been in the home now for one year and is very happy and settled. The staff are amazing, they have an inordinate amount of patience, even when she is difficult and uncooperative. They keep me informed about everything and make me very welcome each week when I visit. I can now relax knowing that she is in safe hands. It is a lovely home and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My mum has now been at Greensleeves for 3.5 years, which is definitely home to her now. On visiting my mum weekly, she seems really happy and content and always greets me with her lovely smile, which means everything to me. The staff are amazing, always there to comfort her. The home is excellent, as well as the food and activities. Really appreciate the care my mum receives from all the staff at this very friendly, run home.

Having had my mother in another care home, which was not so good, we as a family are really glad we found Greensleeves. Everyone there is helpful and kind. According to my mother, the food is very good and she seems much healthier because of this. As for activities, it's been lovely to see just how many ways the staff at Greensleeves find to amuse and occupy the ladies. But the main benefit for our family is knowing that our mother is in safe and caring hands.

Greensleeves exudes laughter, love and positivity. Mum has been here for two years and is so happy. There are activities every day, quiet reflective spaces and a wonderful garden. The staff are incredible, they know each lady as an individual, their likes and dislikes, always encouraging them or just sitting having a chat, even reading a book together. The food is delicious, my mum has special dietary restrictions which are catered for no problem. All the staff team are very approachable from the cleaners to management and will help me and Mum with what is needed. Knowing my mum is here is a huge relief for me. I know she is loved, cared for and the staff want to do the best for her. Mum is non-verbal now and whenever I see her she always has a big happy smile on her face, you can’t fake that kind of happiness.

Greensleeves is the perfect care home I cannot praise it enough, from the very high level of care and respect shown to my mother to the very high standard of cleanliness. The place is spotless at all times and my mother's room is always cleaned to a high standard. The food is varied and wholesome with lots of desserts and if Mum doesn’t want it or like it they go out of their way to find something she does, no problem at all. The activities here are plentiful and varied with something for everyone every morning and afternoon. The staff are all fantastic from the managers, cleaners, chefs, laundry, activities and carers and especially helpful throughout the pandemic was the office staff who have kept us all in the loop and made appointments for us to visit. The staff treat all the ladies with great respect and dignity and are very gentle and kind at all times. Mum has improved dramatically since she came here 18 months ago and I wouldn’t have her anywhere else. Facebook is great for updates. 5-stars!

My mother resided at Greensleeves Care Home after going into hospital for an initial assessment but stayed on a little longer until being hospitalised again and after another assessment, it was decided that she could return to her own home as she had improved. Staff at Greensleeves showed kindness and compassion throughout her stay and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was adequate and the chef and food choices were fabulous. There was so much entertainment for the residents and things to do every day should they wish to join in. I cannot thank you all enough and would recommend Greensleeves to anyone.

My mother has now become part of the Greensleeves family having been a resident for three years with advance dementia, she has problems with communication but this has not prevented her from being made welcome and joining in with all the daily activities. The backbone of this wonderful care home is the quality, dedication and diligence of all the staff led by the management team which extends to all the wonderful carers, the cleaners and the catering staff who prepare excellent food with various choices and different menus each day. The building is always clean and tidy to a high standard, we have witnessed the building improvements that have occurred, obviously, the impact of the last two years has prevented some of the planned works from going ahead, although this I am sure will be back on track soon. The dedication of all the staff has been amazing over the past two years in the most challenging times. I simply can't praise and recommend this unique women-only care home.

During the past ten years, I have visited many care homes with and for friends and relatives, but Greensleeves really is the best. With a very happy, family feel and excellent, caring staff. I have lunch three times a week. Having cared for my sister for years I was very upset of her having to go into care, but after seeing her so safe and happy and well cared for I have no worries and cannot express in words how much I enjoy my visits. Amazing.
