Heaton House is outstanding. The care my mum receives is phenomenal. It is truly her home where she is part of a family. It gives us, her biological family, great peace of mind to know she is happy and well looked after.
My mother had to go to another home rather quickly due to her falling and needing more specific care. I was a nurse for over 40 years myself and now a ' Heath Coach' who knows about good care. My mum is 91 and has truly been blessed to have such excellent care from the moment she arrived. Heaton House really is a family and the staff are so caring and kind. The owner and managers are very professional and although its early days I hope mums stay continues to be as happy as it is now.
My mother has been staying at this dementia care home for nearly 3 years and is very happy there. The staff are all friendly and competent. They all treat mum with dignity and nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Mum's rooms is spacious and has a wet room attached. The food is very tasty and variety given to encourage residents to eat well. There are a wide range of activities to stimulate mind and body. Thank you to all the team at Heaton House.
Mum has been at Heaton House for nearly three years. I have always been impressed with the level of care she receives - her room is comfortable, the food is very good, and mum always seems happy and relaxed. Lately, i have been able to visit more often and can tell that the high standards of care are consistent. I respect and appreciate, the amount of work that goes into maintaining these standards. Thank you.
Our family are very happy with the diligent care and attention Mum has received since she first arrived at Heaton House in 2022. Everyone goes out of their way to make residents feel it is "their home".
Mum has advance stage vascular dementia, although it is hard to see loved ones on this journey, knowing the outcome from other relatives who have passed away with the same condition. I am grateful I have found Heaton House and It's lovely staff make visiting so easy and they always smile and communicate how mum is doing weekly. It's reassuring to know that mum will pass away in a safe place, with dignity and respect always.
We count ourselves very lucky we have selected this house for mum. The management team are very experienced with dementia patients, the care team dedicated and compassionate. I couldn't give my mum better care myself. The only reason rooms and value for money don't get excellent is the room is a bit on the small side and it's difficult to fit a group of us in if we visit together, but it is a minor issue.
Thank you to all the staff who made Christmas Day so special for everyone. The atmosphere was warm and festive with decorations, crackers, carols and a lovely meal cooked. Mum certainly appreciated all your efforts as, I am sure, did all of the ladies. Happy New Year and best wishes to you all.

They approach tasks positively with a smile and treat people with dignity and respect, whether speaking with them or assisting with day-to-day tasks. A regular programme of activities is a key part of Heaton House's success. The home's connection with a local nursery school is a very special one. It allows residents and the young children to strike up a rapport together, sharing in sessions centred on pastimes such as art and music.
