View Full Details of Rosemary MountI had no idea of what to expect when I arrived and was introduced to some of the staff. So many names to remember. After 24 hours I found that I was comfortable when I entered the lounge and the dining room and joined other residents. The only problem I had with my room was the lack of hot water in the bathroom which was quickly put right by the maintenance staff when they obtained the necessary parts. The most impressive feature of Rosemary Mount was the caring attitude of the staff towards the residents, some of who had serious problems. Generally everybody got on well together and meal times were something to look forward to. There is not much room on the review to give a broader outline of my experience but thank you for looking after me during my two week stay. Best wishes to the staff.
Excellent service and care - really a 5-star hotel with extras. Thank you all for all the love and care.
I was extremely stressed, wondering how I would cope, as my husband was recovering from an operation, two weeks before I was due to have an operation. We both have mobility problems. I was totally reassured from my very first enquiry, and my husband was very well cared for while I was in hospital. I was then able to join him, to recover. The rooms are all extremely clean; the food is good and they accommodated my allergies; we were able to eat in our rooms when we didn't feel able to go to the dining room. There were activities, and TV in a lounge, or in the bedrooms, and places to sit and read, including the lovely garden when weather permits. Staff are friendly and we were made very welcome, with nothing too much trouble.
I am very happy to say that my mother is being looked after very well indeed. She is more than happy and has everything she needs there. I, myself, can now stop worrying in the knowledge that she is safe and being looked after in the best possible way. Staff at the care home are very good and make her stay an enjoyable experience.
Rosemary Mount is a brilliant place. The management and care staff are really excellent. If there are any problems they are quick to sort everything out and reassure all the clients. There are many activities for everyone to join in. Rosemary Mount is impeccably clean. They are also great when visitors come and make us very welcome. My mum feels very safe here.
Mum moved into the care home for some respite care following a spell in hospital. The plan was for Dad who was also in hospital, to also go to the care home for respite as well, but unfortunately, he died in hospital. The staff were wonderful in helping Mum through the period following his death, and Mum has now decided to make her stay permanent. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
I cannot recommend them enough, the manager and her team do a wonderful job and they have been caring for my mother for five years. Unfortunately, she now has vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s. They still love and care for her which is of great comfort to me and it takes away the worry as I know she is in safe hands. I can still work and can visit her as often as I can. It is a lovely and friendly home as it only has a small amount of residents. I love visiting and also chatting to the other ladies who do not have many visitors. I am very lucky to have found this home and Mum is happy there even though she does not always remember now. Kindest regards.
Mum is being provided with a safe, caring and dignified home. I am immensely grateful to the staff and their dedication to the residents.
The staff have been very helpful and respectful towards my nan, always delighted to help.
Exceptional care from day one of care home admittance. Staff are all very helpful and cheerful. I feel my mother is very well looked after and all her needs met. The social interaction with residents is thoughtful and of great value to Mum. Mum has made friends with residents, which is of great value. She enjoys the food, with choices of various menus.
I have been treated with dignity and respect throughout my stay by all the staff. My respite has enabled me to recover from my operation so I can now go home and look after myself. A big thank you to all the staff for their care and kindness.
This was an excellent experience for my father-in-law. After having his pacemaker updated, we felt that he needed a bit of respite care to get him back to being independent again. The staff were amazing with their care for him and he was very well looked after. His confidence was built up and this made it possible for him to look after himself. We cannot thank Rosemary Mount enough in helping him.
My care home experince for the past five weeks was one to look back upon with much satisfaction in all aspects of their itinerary. Not only did the staff treat me so well, but they also looked after my family and visitors during their short stays. So a big thanks to everyone; it's well deserved.
Overall we have had a very positive experience. The staff and level of care received has been exceptionally excellent and we are very happy with everything. Thank you!
My father enjoyed his stay at Rosemary Mount and has said he would love to live there permanently one day. The staff have been wonderful to Dad and so very helpful to me.
When we visit with her beloved dogs we are always welcome. The staff are polite, the home is very clean and other residents look content.
The owner of the two old labradors has changed beyond recognition since she arrived at the home. She smiles particularly when we bring the dogs to visit with the kind permission of the management. She is so happy and even is beginning to socialise more than the residents. She talks more to us and enjoys going into the beautiful garden or going out with the dogs and us. I looked at many homes for my late mother. This one is by far the best.
I am well cared for and helped to do all the things I can. I am kept clean at all times and I find all the staff treat me with dignity and are very professional in all they do.
My aunt stayed for 2 weeks respite. The process from start to finish was exemplary, all staff very friendly and caring and the home itself, excellent.
My auntie was moved to Rosemary Mount from a hospital stay and was there for almost 10 weeks before she had to move to a nursing home. I felt that the care my auntie received was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful and communication was excellent. At first, it was hard for Auntie to settle as it was a difficult time for her, however, she did settle and often commented on how good the food was. Auntie arrived at Rosemary Mount in March and due to Covid restrictions, I was not able to visit Auntie in her room. During Auntie's isolation period she was able to have window visits and after Auntie was out of isolation I was able to visit her in a dedicated visiting room. I had to take a Lateral Flow Test before visiting and was provided with PPE. Staff were always wearing properly fitted masks. The home always looked and smelt clean. There is a well-kept garden with seating areas which I am sure are enjoyed by the residents when the sun shines!
