View Full Details of Vine House Older Persons ResidenceA dear was a respite care resident at Vine House, while he recovered from surgery. I have been so impressed by the standard of care it is exemplary. The staff are so attentive and caring. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. I have a lot of experience of social health care settings and Vine House is undoubtedly top.
11 out of 10 always, first class service.
My mother was very welcomed by the home owner and staff on arrival and she felt at home immediately. The staff are all very caring and supportive and always so attentive to my mother. The standard of cleanliness is excellent throughout the premises and always looks very well maintained with a dedicated maintenance team on site. There are regular activities including visits from musicians, animals, a hairdresser etc. The food is excellent with lots of choice. All in all, I can't recommend it enough.
After seeing my mother-in-law so happy for the time she's been in Vine House, that tells it's own story. She loves everything about it. The friends she's made with the staff and owner, the activities are fun and also friends amongst the residents. The atmosphere is just so friendly and calming. It's the happiest I've seen her in years, she's just so content.
I have visited Vine House Older Persons Residence over the last 12 years. My mother was a resident and now my aunt. As you walk through the door it like visiting a family home. The staff many of whom were there when my mother was a resident a so friendly and caring. So much trouble is taken to accommodate the needs of the residents.
The care and compassion that were given to both family and the member of my extended family who was receiving end-of-life care at Vine House was wonderful. Nothing appeared too much for the staff and they regularly checked if anyone needed anything. As well as taking time to explain in a sensitive way what could be expected of someone whose loved one was dying.
Vine House has created a special place for my mother-in-law. Within two weeks she was calling it home - the staff from carers, chefs and management really want her to have a great day and just be happy - her room is bright and airy and spotlessly clean - and we can visit any time of day. With the home under new management - lots of things are happening to encourage her out of her room and create a social atmosphere which she was lacking at home - the smile on her face, when we visit, says it all - she's found somewhere to feel safe and looked after - what more can you ask for in a home for your loved one.
I am relieved to know that my husband is being well cared for and respected and that I am able to visit at any time and also to join him for a meal. We, the family are constantly kept informed of any necessary changes in his welfare and any hospital visits. The weekly entertainment is varied and family members are invited to take part. The staff cannot do enough for me or my husband. We feel part of a large family.
Mum entered the care home in May. She had for a long time been very much against the idea of moving into a home but her care needs developed to such an extent that the hospital said it was the only option. All her fears (and ours) evaporated very quickly. She was welcomed as though into a family and the care she has received has been exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble either for her or those visiting - who are welcomed at any time with a cup of tea or coffee. Their individual wants and needs are catered for and I have seen nothing but compassion and kindness. Mum has dementia and is encouraged to participate in activities downstairs but equally those residents who prefer the privacy of their own rooms have the freedom to do what they want. I have witnessed how quickly the staff respond to the buzzers of residents who choose to stay in their rooms - always quickly and with a smile.
Vine House is a small home and because of that it has a very homely feel, and manages to treat all the residents as individuals. My mother has been a resident for 18 months and her care has been excellent. All the staff are very caring and thoughtful; they manage to adapt the daily care needs they provide to how she is feeling on that day. Nothing is too much trouble. I'm always kept informed of issues regarding my mum's care, and I'm given a warm welcome when I visit.
Wonderful staff all round. Family oriented, we as a family are invited to take part in activities and social events. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff go the extra mile to accommodate my father's needs.
Excellent care, brilliant staff. Very happy with every aspect.
Vine House has exceeded my expectations of how wonderful a care home can be. It's always clean and tidy and so is my dad! The staff are all fantastic and have a great relationship with my dad. It's a pleasant atmosphere to be a part of when I visit. The manager is doing a fine job! She is clearly passionate about her work and cares for residents and their relatives.
All really perfect, couldn't wish for better. Thank you all.
I highly recommend Vine House, the staff are amazing and take great care looking after Mum's needs. The quality of care is very good, her room is lovely and the food looked delicious. I also 100% know she's being looked after properly and feel she is very safe.
Vine House and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have all helped my mum to settle in and we now class Vine House as Mum's home.
Very impressed with the care and friendliness of all the staff. Mum has been treated with dignity, and nothing has been too much trouble to ensure that she is settled in. Her large family enjoy the freedom to come and go whenever works for us. Cannot speak too highly of this residence.
The care that my mother has had is excellent. The staff at Vine House are knowledgeable, professional, caring and compassionate . I know that my mother is happy, cared for and in safe hands. A huge relief as I do not live in the UK. The atmosphere in Vine House is warm and welcoming and reflects the very nature of the home.
Exceptional care was given to my mum as she entered the last few weeks and days of her long life. A life well lived. Nothing was too much trouble and every need was met. The staff made my mum smile to the last hours of her life. Thank you to you all, all of you (the carers) will always be remembered by me. Everyone who works in Vine House Older Persons Residence are stars.
My mother was a resident at Vine House Older Persons Residence for nearly seven years. The care and love that she received was exceptional. Sadly, She recently passed away after a short illness. The care that she was given in her last few days was truly remarkable. Myself and my two sisters were able to stay with her, day and night and the care staff made us feel very welcome and not only cared for our mum in such a compassionate way but also supported us with any physical and emotional needs. All staff went the extra mile to ensure that this very sad and emotional time was made just that little bit less difficult. The carers at Vine House are an incredible team who cares for all their residents with compassion and dignity. Not only are these very special people amazing carers but over the past seven years or so, became great friends with Mum and all our family and I will never forget them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
