View Full Details of St Winefrides Residential HomeWhen I first entered this residential home, the airy brightness hit me and was so clean everywhere. We were greeted and shown around. The room that was available was amazing. At that point I so hoped it would be suitable for my brother. A few weeks down the line. And he's moved in. It was everything I could have wished for. Warm, homely, caring and extremely kind staff who go above and beyond. My brother now has an extended family xx
The first thing you notice is how clean the home is and very bright and airy. The staff are very friendly and are always smiling. The decor is in very good condition, the most important thing is the staff are very kind. They can't do enough for the residents. I would highly recommend.
My daughter and I visited her father. We had to phone for directions, getting lost in the roads around. We were greeted most warmly, shown to his room with a photo of him on the door and we were given a hot drink. His room was impeccably clean and tidy. He told us that he was very happy there but impossibly wanted to go home. We all went to their sitting room, where we met some friendly cats who visited there everyday, a clear favourite. We even joined in with a Christmas sing along led by staff. We have no qualms about him there.
My dad needed emergency respite placement and was welcomed at St Winefrides by the warm, kind, and attentive staff. He was reluctant to leave home and to my relief quickly settled into his room, has been eating well, joining in activities, and also enjoying quiet time when he feels like watching TV on his own. The staff are excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive and I am comforted he is in caring and safe hands.
Likes some of the food. Likes the quiz. Worries about me (wife).
My dad required an emergency placement due to his needs as he could no longer live at home. The assessment of his needs was very comprehensive, we were able to visit St Winefrides prior to my dad moving there and ask as many questions as we needed. Since moving there, my dad has consistently said the staff are very kind, to our relief he has started eating and sleeping again and he has been encouraged to personalise his room. Our thanks to the staff at St Winefrides.
The management and carers in St Winefrides, have been amazing. Our dad has been in St Winefrides for two and a half years, and he has been looked after. They have also been supportive to our family. We could not have wished for him to of been in a nicer place. Extremely looked after by a great team, and on visiting times they always made us welcome. Thank you so much.
My father was a resident at St Winefrides for 7 years until his recent passing. We chose St Winefrides as a final end of life residence after a short stay in hospital. They showed extra care for this emotional time, and made his room lovely for his arrival for end of life. The experience was welcome, and appreciated. They dealt with his needs without hesitation, and I would recommend anyone to chose this as an option at this difficult time.
